In this paper,we investigate mid-frequency disturbance rejection of hard disk drive servo *** first- order reset element （GFORE） is proposed and used to construct a reset phase lead *** proposed phase lead controller is then used to compensate the phase lag caused by mid-frequency narrow band compensator without changing the gain property of the overall *** last,the proposed reset compensator is applied to mid-frequency disturbance rejection of hard disk drive *** results show that it can provide large open-loop gain around crossover frequency without degrading the transient response.

The mechanical behavior of rock mass is significantly affected by the vastly existing discontinuities, primarily *** of the main tasks in the fields of rock mechanics and engineering is to well understand the mechanical properties of the discontinuities and their effects on rock mass behavior,so as to ensure the stability of the rock mass and underground structures under dynamic load,which is of great interest to mining engineers,seismologists and *** joints can be filled with materials,such as sand, clay,and other *** insight understanding and description of the dynamic properties of filled rock joints are essential for the analysis and design of rock engineering problems under dynamic loads. The filled rock joints can be considered as a complex three-phase medium consisting of rock solid particles,water and *** lower strain rates,the water and air are assumed to flow through the skeleton driven by the pore *** contrast,at higher strain rates and pressures,such as under shock and blasting loads,water and air are trapped within the pores and the deformation of the matrix is controlled by the deformation and the volume fraction of each of the three constituent *** on the multiple phase medium theory,a three-phase medium model was proposed for describing wave propagation across filled rock joints in the *** in the three-phase medium model were identified by a series of modified split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB) tests,where a sand or clay layer was used to represent an artificial filled rock *** granitic pressure bars with the sandwiched sand or clay layer were used to represent the filled joint to simulate longitudinal stress wave propagation across such geological *** filled joint was under different saturation and different width *** test results showed that the dynamic property of the filled rock joints was highly nonlinear and it depended on the volume ratios of th

＜正＞ This paper illustrates a general modeling method for dc/dc power converters, which is termed averaging binary tree structure models. The proposed method, based on the switching signal flow graph （SSFG） models, can describe the converters as a binary tree structure. The general construction principles of the binary tree for the complex flow graph system are summarized and developed. The proposed method has been applied to the modeling for 2nd order dc/dc converters, which shows the advantages of high convenience and practicability without the tedious analysis caused by Mason’s rules or graph reduction techniques, compared with the conventional SSFG modeling. Experimental observations are provided to validate the proposed algorithm.

Modeling energy-minimizing curves have many applications and are a basic problem of Geometric *** this paper,we propose the method for geometric design of energy-minimizing B′ezier ***,the necessary and sufficient condition on the control points for B′ezier curves to have minimal internal energy is *** on this condition,we propose the geometric constructions of three kinds of B′ezier curves with minimal internal energy including stretch energy,strain energy and jerk *** some control points,the other control points can be determined as the linear combination of the given control *** compare the three kinds of energy-minimizing B′ezier curves via curvature combs and curvature plots,and present the collinear properties of quartic energy-minimizing B′ezier *** also compare the proposed method with previous methods on efficiency and ***,several applications of the curve generation technique,such as curve interpolation with geometric constraints and modeling of circle-like curves are discussed.

This paper studies the mean square stabilizability of linear discrete-time systems over a lossy digital communication *** packet losses process of the channel is modeled as a time-homogeneous binary Markov *** temporal correlations of the channel and stochastically time-varying data rate due to packet losses pose a significant challenge,which is solved by developing a randomly sampled system *** is shown that the number of additional bits to counter effects of the Markovian packet losses on stabilizability is exactly quantified by the magnitude of the unstable mode and the transition *** result contains existing results on data rate and packet dropout rate for stabilizability of linear systems as special *** and sufficient conditions on the minimum data rate problem for vector systems are also provided respectively and shown to be optimal for some special cases.

Repetitive learning control of nonlinear systems over finite intervals

Iterative learning control requires initial repositioning, while the time functions to be learned should be of periodicity in repetitive control. However, there are cases in practice where the time-varying unknowns are not periodic but repetitive, and repetitive learning control is applicable with avoidance of initial repositioning. In this paper, repetitive learning control designs are presented for a broader class of nonlinear systems over finite intervals. The Freeman formula is modified and used for stabilization of the nominal nonlinear time-varying system undertaken. The global stability of the learning system and asymptotic convergence of the tracking error are established through analysis of both partially and fully saturated learning algorithms, respectively. The repetitive learning control method is theoretically shown to be effective in dealing with time-varying parametric uncertainties.
