To the Editor:Tricuspid regurgitation(TR)associated with valve disease is a general medical issue with growing prevalence and socioeconomic ***,especially moderate or severe TR,has been reported to be associated with an increased risk of heart failure and mortality.^([1])Studies have shown that blood calcium levels and blood phosphorus levels have a great influence on the human body,especially on the cardiovascular *** serum calcium levels were reported to be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease.^([2])A meta-analysis reported that moderate dietary calcium intake protects against cardiovascular and all-cause mortality and that calcium supplementation reduces mortality in women.^([3])

中国抗癌协会理事长樊代明院士在国际上率先提出“整合医学”理念并付诸实践,被誉为“整合医学”全球第一人,他首次提出“肿瘤防治,赢在整合”。“整合医学”理念提出后,得到了国家高度重视和世界医学界的关注。中共中央办公厅、国务院办公厅印发的《关于进一步完善医疗卫生服务体系的意见》指出,到2035年,形成与基本实现社会主义现代化相适应,体系完整、分工明确、功能互补、连续协同、运行高效、富有韧性的整合型医疗卫生服务体系。通过13年来的不懈努力,樊代明院士领衔逐步建立起适合我国国情的《中国肿瘤整合诊治指南(CACA)》体系,并通过CACA精读巡讲、进校园、指导科研等方式,解决“医教、医研”脱节问题,推动相关领域改革,为国家卫生服务体系建设贡献出CACA智慧与力量。2024.6月22日,在中国成都第3届“人民医学传播大会”现场,在樊代明、黄荷凤、王琦、陈士林等院士和3 000名专家学者的见证下,《整合医学宣言》重磅发布。这一宣言由百余位两院院士和百余位医科大学校长/院长联名签署,其发布为人类医学的发展起到积极的推动作用。由此,人类医学将迈向一个新的发展历史时期。

Since 2015,stroke has become the leading cause of death and disability in china,posing a significant threat to the health of its citizens as a major chronic non-communicable *** to the china Stroke High-risk Population Screening and Intervention Program,an estimated 17.8 million[95%confidence interval(CI)17.6–18.0million]adults in china had experienced a stroke in 2020,with 3.4.million(95%CI 3.3–3.5 million)experiencing their first-ever stroke and another 2.3 million(95%CI 2.2–2.4.million)dying as a ***,approximately 12.5%(95%CI 12.4.–12.5%)of stroke survivors were left disabled,as defined by a modified Rankin Scale score greater than 1,equating to 2.2 million(95%CI 2.1–2.2 million)stroke-related disabilities in *** the population ages and the prevalence of risk factors like diabetes,hypertension,and hyperlipidemia continues to rise and remains poorly controlled,the burden of stroke in china is also increasing.A large national epidemiological survey initiated by the china Hypertension League in 2017 showed that the prevalence of hypertension was 24.7%;the awareness,treatment,and control rates in hypertensive patients were:60.1%,4..5%,and 25.4.,respectively.A nationally representative sample of the Chinese mainland population showed that the weighted prevalence of total diabetes diagnosed by the American Diabetes Association criteria was 12.8%,suggesting there are 120 million adults with diabetes in china,and the awareness,treatment,and control rates in diabetic patients were:4..3%,4..0%,and 4..4.,***“Sixth National Health Service Statistical Survey Report in 2018”showed that the proportion of the obese population in china was 37.4.,an increase of 7.2 points from *** from 1599 hospitals in the Hospital Quality Monitoring System and Bigdata Observatory Platform for Stroke of china(BOSC)showed that a total of 3,4.8,4.2 stroke cases[mean age±standard error(SE)was(65.700±0.006)years,and 59.1%were male]were admitted dur

Sakhaite specimens from an endogenous borate deposit in Hunan Province, china have been studied in detail by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The selected area electron diffraction (SAED) patterns obtained with different crystal zone axes show that the crystal system is cubic, with a = 1.4.3 nm. The convergent beam electron diffraction (CBED) patterns indicate that the point group and space group of sakhaite is m3m and Fd3m, respec-tively. The space group of synthetic sakhaite determined by Chichagov (1974. is F4.32. The possible reasons why the space groups of the natural and the synthetic sakhaites are different are discussed.

Background:Information on the association between physical activity(PA)and the risk of chronic kidney disease(CKD)is *** aimed to explore the associations of total,domain-specific,and intensity-specific PA with CKD and its subtypes in ***:The study included 4.5,376 adults from the china Kadoorie Biobank aged 30-79 years during 2004.2008 at *** interviewer-administered questionnaire was used to collect the information about PA,which was quantified as metabolic equivalent of task hours per day(MET-h/day)and categorized into 4.groups based on *** regression was used to analyze the association between PA and CKD ***:During a median follow-up of 12.1 years,54.5 incident CKD cases were documented,including 1159 incident diabetic kidney disease(DKD)cases and 362 incident hypertensive nephropathy(HTN)*** PA was inversely associated with CKD risk,with an adjusted hazard ratio(HR,95%confidence interval(95%CI))of 0.83(0.75-0.92)for incident CKD in the highest quartile of total PA as compared with participants in the lowest *** results were observed for risk of DKD and HTN,and the corresponding HRs(95%CIs)were 0.75(0.58-0.97)for DKD risk and 0.56(0.37-0.85)for HTN *** nonoccupational PA,low-intensity PA,and moderate-to-vigorous-intensity PA were significantly associated with a decreased risk of CKD,with HRs(95%CIs)of 0.80(0.73-0.88),0.85(0.77-0.94.,and 0.85(0.76-0.95)in the highest quartile,***:PA,including nonoccupational PA,low-intensity PA,and moderate-to-vigorous-intensity PA,was inversely associated with the risk of CKD,including DKD,HTN,and other CKD,and such associations were dose dependent.

Targeting multiple immune mechanisms may overcome therapy resistance and further improve cancer immunotherapy for ***,we describe the application of virus-like vesicles(VLV)for delivery of three immunomodulators alone and in combination,as a promising approach for cancer *** vectors were designed to deliver single chain interleukin(IL)-12,shorthairpin RNA(shRNA)targeting programmed death ligand 1(PD-L1),and a dominant-negative form of IL-17 receptor A(dn-IL17RA)as a single payload or as a combination *** delivery of the VLV vector expressing IL-12 alone,as well as the trivalent vector(designated CARG-2020)eradicated large established ***,only CARG-2020 prevented tumor recurrence and provided long-term survival benefit to the tumor-bearing mice,indicating a benefit of the combined *** abscopal effects of CARG-2020 on the non-injected contralateral tumors,as well as protection from the tumor cell re-challenge,suggest immune-mediated mechanism of protection and establishment of immunological ***,CARG-2020 potently activates Th1 immune mechanisms and inhibits expression of genes related to T cell exhaustion and cancer-promoting *** ability of CARG-2020 to prevent tumor recurrence and to provide survival benefit makes it a promising candidate for its development for human cancer immunotherapy.
