The characteristic of hydrogen production by facultative anaerobic bacteria,obligate anaerobic bacteria and their mixed culture was studied by the batch culture *** results showed that,due to the synergistic effect between facultative bacteria and anaerobic bacteria,the ability of hydrogen production in the mixed culture was much better than that in the pure culture. Especially,the culture Scheme No.7 mixed up with three strains(Bacterium.E:Bacterium.B:Bacterium.P = 1:1:1) not only had the best hydrogen production capacity(1.885 mol H2/mol glucose) and maximum average hydrogen production rate(212.2 mL/(L-h)), but also had stable hydrogen production under continuous culture conditions,which was 1.968 mol H2/mol glucose.

It is important to reduce data redundancy of stereo video in practical applications. In this paper,first,a data embedding method for stereo video（DEMSV） is investigated by embedding the encoding data into the reference frame to encode stereo video. It can use only one channel to transfer all the video data and the receiver can choose a monocular video decoder or stereo video decoder adaptively. Then,introducing the joint prediction scheme in the coding process of DEMSV,we propose a novel data embedding method for H.264 stereo video codec with joint prediction scheme（DEMSV-JPS） to achieve high coding efficiency. Experimental results show that the proposed method can obtain high peak signal-to-noise ratio（PSNR） and compression ratio（at least 33 dB for the test sequence） . Comparing the testing methods using JPS and without using JPS,we prove that JPS can further improve the objective and visual quality. DEMSV-JPS shows such advantages and will be suitable to applications in real-time environments of stereo-video transmission.

Due to their inherent imperfections, it is hard to use the static neural networks for nonlinear time-varying process modeling and prediction, and the minimal resource allocation network (MRAN) is difficult to be realized for its too many regulation parameters. A new sequential learning algorithm for radial basis function (RBF) neural networks based on local projection named Local Projection Network (LPN) is proposed in this paper. The results of validation for several benchmark problems with the new algorithm show that the presented LPN not only has the same level as M-RAN in network size and precision of the outputs, but also has fewer regulation parameters and is more predictable.

Many research indicate a lot of money and time are spent on maintaining and modifying program delivered. So the policies to support program comprehension are very important. Program comprehension is a crucial and difficult task. Insufficient design, illogical code structure, short documents will enhance the comprehensive difficulty. Developing Web application is usually a process with quick implementation and delivery. In addition, generally a Web application is coded by combining mark language statements with some embedded applets. Such programming mode affects comprehension of Web applications disadvantageously. This paper proposes a method to improving understanding Web by dependence analysis and slice technology. The dynamic characteristics of liquid sloshing in a transversely vibrating spherical tank with spacer under low gravity were investigated. By expanding the characteristic functions, the frequencies and velocity potentials of liquid free-sloshing were obtained. The dynamic equations and boundary conditions of liquid sloshing in the traverse vibrational spherical tank with spacer under low gravity were derived. By modifying the velocity potentials of liquid free-sloshing, the velocity potentials of liquid sloshing in the traverse vibrating spherical tank with a spacer were obtained. Furthermore, the forces and the moments acting on tank wall were given. The numerical results show when a spacer is inserted in the tank, the sloshing frequencies of liquid and the forces acting on tank wall will decrease, but the moment of force to the centre of the tank which is caused by the force of liquid acting on the spacer will occur.

Acoustic emission (AE) technique is employed to investigate the damage process of the notched plain concrete and rubberized concrete specimens under 3-point bending *** signals in the fracture process of notched specimens are illustrated by analyzing the distribution of amplitude and hit rate of AE *** signals in the rubberized concrete have lower activity and amplitude than in the plain *** AE location analysis,it is found that the high energy events mainly are distributed near the notch *** to AE energy,the fracture process zone (FPZ) is *** comparing the FPZ of both concretes,it is found that the incorporation of rubber particles in concrete can greatly alleviate the damage process of concrete specimens and the damage zone in the rubberized concrete is much smaller than in the plain *** moment tensor is also used to analyze the type of cracks and it is found that tensile cracks dominate the early period of loading,while shear cracks become dominant with propagation of cracks in late load period.

Under the condition of low gravity the characteristics of liquid forced sloshing in a turning spherical tank with a spacer were investigated. The static shape of the liquid surface was analyzed. By expanding the characteristic functions, the frequencies and velocity potential of liquid free-sloshing were derived. The governing equations and boundary conditions for the forced sloshing of liquid under the tank turning were established. The transverse force of liquid acting on the tank and the moment of force to the centre of the tank which is caused by the force of liquid acting on the spacer were given. Numerical results were compared with the ones of the spherical tank without a spacer. The results show that when a spacer is inserted in the tank, the sloshing frequency of liquid and the transverse force of liquid acting on the tank will decrease, but the moment of force to the centre of the tank which is caused by the force of liquid acting on the spacer will occur.

The change of the temperature coefficient of resistivity (a) with the particle size, dp, and the grain size, dc, in the nanostructured Ag bulk samples was investigated. dp and dc were controlled by heating the nano-Ag powders over the temperature range from 393 to 453 K. The electrical resistance measurements of the nanostructured Ag bulk samples obtained by compacting the Ag powders after heat treatments showed a change in the sign of a with dP and dc. When dp and dc are smaller or equal to 18 and 11 nm below room temperature or 20 and 12 nm above room temperature, respectively, the sign of the temperature coefficient of resistivity changes from positive to negative. The negative a arises mainly from the high resistivity induced by the particle interfaces with very lowly ordered or even disordered structure, a large volume fraction of interfaces and impurities existing in the interfaces, and the quantum size effect appearing in the nano-Ag grains.

No-wait flow shops with makespan minimization are classified as NP-hard. In this paper, the optimization objective is equivalently transformed to total idle-time minimization. The independence relationship between tasks is analyzed, and objective increment properties are established for the fundamental operators of the heuristics. The quality of the new schedules generated during a heuristic is judged only by objective increments and not by the traditional method, which computes and compares the objective of a whole schedule. Based on objective increments, the time complexity of the heuristic can be decreased by one order. A seed phase is presented to generate an initial solution according to the transformed objective. Construction and improvement phases are introduced by experimental analysis. The FCH （fast composite heuristic） is proposed and compared with the most effective algorithms currently available for the considered problem. Experimental results show that the effectiveness of the FCH is similar to that of the best methods but requires far less computation time. The FCH can also be efficient in real time scheduling and rescheduling for no-wait flow shops.
