The IP packet forwarding of current Internet is mainly destination based. In the forwarding process, the source IP address is not checked in most *** causes serious security, management and accounting problems. Based on the drastically increased IPv6 address space, a ＂source address validation architecture＂（SAVA） is proposed in this paper, which can guarantee that every packet received and forwarded holds an authenticated source IP address. The design goals of the architecture are lightweight, loose coupling, ＂multi-fence support＂ and incremental deployment. This paper discusses the design and implementation for the architecture, including inter-AS, intra-AS and local subnet. The performance and scalability of SAVA are described. This architecture is deployed into the CNGI-CERNET2.infrastructure a large-scale native IPv6 backbone network of the china Next Generation Internet project. We believe that the SAVA will help the transition to a new, more secure and dependable Internet.

We determined the variation tendency of viscosity (η) at various solids load- ing (α) for 3Y-TZP suspension as a function of dispersant concentration (Cw) using vis- cosity measurement, measured the diameter of particles as a function of Cw in very dilute suspension using light scattering method, and obtained the surface features of the sedi- ment of suspension with different Cw using SEM. We also discussed the influence of the microstructure of adsorbed polymer layers on particles and their interactions in the dis- persing medium on the stability of suspension. Then two different stable states and two different unstable states for 3Y-TZP suspension were given. Accordingly, the (Cw, η), (Cw, α), and (α, η) two-parameter, and (Cw, α, η) three-parameter stability maps were con- structed. Based on the DLVO theory calculations, the dispersant concentration, particle distance (r), and interparticle potential energy (VT) maps with various solids loading for 3Y-TZP aqueous suspension were also constructed. In (Cw, r) two-parameter coordinate system, the stable motion region map for particles was established. The Cw, α, and VT,max (the highest potential energy) surface of the potential barrier map was obtained through calculation and simulation on the basis of the surfaces of Cw, r, VT maps introduced above. The (Cw, α) two-parameter stability map was then obtained from the Cw, α, VT,max map. The results showed that this theoretical map can qualitatively prove the experimentally obtained results—the existence of different dispersed states of particles in suspension system and the variation tendency of suspension stability with changing each parame- ter—were reasonable.

Stable stratification turbulence, as a common phenomenon in atmospheric and oceanic flows, is an important mechanism for numerical prediction of such flows. In this paper the large eddy simulation is utilized for investigating stable stratification turbulence numerically. The paper is expected to provide correct statistical results in agreement with those measured in the atmosphere or ocean. The fully developed turbulence is obtained in the stable stratification fluid by large eddy simulation with different initial velocity field and characteristic parameters, i.e. Reynolds number Re and Froude number Fr. The evolution of turbulent kinetic energy, characteristic length scales and parameters is analyzed for investigating the development of turbulence in stable stratification fluid. The three-dimensional energy spectra, horizontal and vertical energy spectrum, are compared between numerical simulation and real observation in the atmosphere and ocean in order to test the reliability of the numerical simulation. The results of numerical cases show that the large eddy simulation is capable of predicting the properties of stable stratification turbulence in consistence with real measurements at less computational cost. It has been found in this paper that the turbulence can be developed under different initial velocity conditions and the internal wave energy is dominant in the developed stable stratification turbulence. It is also found that the characteristic parameters must satisfy certain conditions in order to have correct statistical property of stable stratification turbulence in the atmosphere and ocean. The Reynolds number and Froude number are unnecessarily equal to those in atmosphere or ocean, but the Reynolds number must be large enough, say, greater than 10 2., and Froude number must be less than 0.1. The most important parameter is ReFr 2.which must be greater than 10.

With the development of computer technology and numerical simulation technology, computer aided engineering (CAE) technology has been widely applied to many fields. One of the main obstacles, which hinder the further application of CAE technology, is how to successfully identify the parameters of the selected model. An elementary framework for parameter identification of a complex model is provided in this paper. The framework includes the construction of objective function, the design of the optimization method and the evaluation of the identified results, etc. The parameter identification process is described in this framework, taking the parameter identification of the superplastic constitutive model considering grain growth for Ti-6Al-4V at 92.°C as an example. The objective function is the weighted quadratic sums of the difference between the experimental and computational data for the stress-strain relationship and the grain growth relationship; the designed optimization method is a hybrid global optimization method, which is based on the feature of the objective function and incorporates the strengths of genetic algorithm (GA), the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm and the augmented Gauss-Newton algorithm. The reliability evaluation of parameter identification result is made through the comparison between the calculated and experimental results and between the theoretical values of the parameters and the identified ones.

The BEM combined with the time-stepping scheme is employed in the nonlinear numerical simulation of the development process of radiation wave profile and hydrodynamic force caused by large amplitude oscillating cylinder. To ensure stability and accuracy of the simulation, special consideration is paid on a series of difficulties in numerical modeling, such as the compatibility of free surface and body surface conditions at the intersection point and the open boundary condition problem. Numerical calculation is carried out for some study cases of different shaped cylinders undergoing large amplitude oscillating motions with distinct modes, the results show. some nonlinear phenomena and indicate the feasibility of the numerical approach.

A two-scale second-order moment two-phase turbulence model was developed and used to simulate gas-particle flow in a sudden-expansion chamber and a channel. The simulation results were in agreement with the experimental results, and the results were compared with those of the single-scale second-order moment two-phase turbulence model. Several improved features show that the two-scale model is to a certain extent better than the single-scale model, which may be attributed to the fact that particle turbulence is well characterized by the two-scale turbulence model.

Based on Arnoldi's method, a version of generalized Arnoldi algorithm has been developed for the reduction of gyroscopic eigenvalue problems. By utilizing the skew symmetry of system matrix, a very simple recurrence scheme, named gyroscopic Arnoldi reduction algorithm has been obtained, which is even simpler than the Lanczos algorithm for symmetric eigenvalue problems. The complex number computation is completely avoided. A restart technique is used to enable the reduction algorithm to have iterative characteristics. It has been found that the restart technique is not only effective for the convergence of multiple eigenvalues but it also furnishes the reduction algorithm with a technique to check and compute missed eigenvalues. By combining it with the restart technique, the algorithm is made practical for large-scale gyroscopic eigenvalue problems. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method proposed.

The three-dimensional transition of the wake flow behind a circular cylinder is studied in detail by direct numerical simulations using 3D incompressible N-S equations for Reynolds number ranging from 2.0 to 300. New features and vortex dynamics of the 3D transition of the wake are found and investigated. At Re = 2.0, the flow pattern is characterized by mode A instability. However, the spanwise characteristic length of the cylinder determines the transition features. Particularly for the specific spanwise characteristic length linear stable mode may dominate the wake in place of mode A and determine the spanwise phase difference of the primary vortices shedding. At Re = 2.0 and 300 it is found that the streamwise vortices evolve into a new type of mode "dual vortex pair mode" downstream. The streamwise vortex structures switch among mode A, mode B and dual vortex pair mode from near wake to downstream wake. At Re = 2.0, an independent low frequency fm in addition to the vortex shedding frequency fs is identified. Frequency coupling between fm and fs occurs. These result in the irregularity of the temporal signals and become a key feature in the transition of the wake. Based on the formation analysis of the streamwise vorticity in the vicinity of cylinder, it is suggested that mode A is caused by the emergence of the spanwise velocity due to three dimensionality of the incoming flow past the cylinder. Energy distribution on various wave numbers and the frequency variation in the wake are also described.
