The multiple instance regression problem has become a hot research topic recently. There are several approaches to the multiple instance regression problem, such as Salience, Citation KNN, and MI-ClusterRegress. All of these solutions work in batch mode during the training step. However, in practice, examples usually arrive in sequence. Therefore, the training step cannot be accomplished once. In this paper, an online multiple instance regression method ＂OnlineMIR＂ is proposed. OnlineMIR can not only predict the label of a new bag, but also update the current regression model with the latest arrived bag. The experimental results show that OnlineMIR achieves good performances on both synthetic and real data sets.

As part of the digital mine system, a real time emergency route generating algorithm for a large scale metal mine is studied. The tunnel is abstracted and mathematically described by the center line model. A series of definitions are made and the center lines are regularized. In order to improve the quality of the final routes, a center line dataset preprocessing is done according to the factors including the slope threshold and the tunnel closed state information, etc. While in preprocessing, the mineshaft and shaft with the steep slope are excluded implicitly. The interface is preserved for point-like objects (e.g. blowers), directions (e.g. wind direction of blowers) and so on. The final path finding algorithm is optimized by the filter operation that the calculation is only performed at the endpoints and hub points, which can further reduce computing data amount. In our experiment, 3 368 nodes out of 2. 401 nodes are selected as key nodes, therefore, the data processing amount of the algorithm is reduced to 1/7 and the routes can be found in real time. The algorithm is implemented and integrated into the final digital mine system.

The array design of radar antenna is no more a new problem at all. Nevertheless, the array design of multi-channel radar, especially that of MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) radar, is a new problem. The performance of space diversion and spatial sampling of target scattering are dependent on the array design of MIMO radar, and consequently, which in turn will determine the performances of target parameter estimation, DOA, and imaging. In this paper, commencing with target scattering model, T/R signal model of MIMO radar, and spatial sampling ability for this system are analyzed. Conceptually, under the far field condition, spatial convolution principle determines the array design theory. Based on this idea, array design method and also algorithm are proposed in this paper.

A novel artificial anal sphincter system has been developed to simulate the normal physiology of the human anorectum. With the goal of engineering a safe and reliable device, the model of human colonic blood flow has been built and the relationship between the colonic blood flow rate and the operating occlusion pressure of the anorectum is achieved. The tissue ischemia is analyzed based on constitutive relations for human anorectum. The results suggest that at the planned operating occlusion pressure of less than 4 kPa the artificial anal sphincter should not risk the vascularity of the human colon.

Web search engines are very useful information service tools in the Internet. The current web search engines produce search results relating to the search terms and the actual information collected by them. Since the selections of the search results cannot affect the future ones, they may not cover most people’s interests. In this paper, feedback information produced by the user’s accessing lists will be represented by the rough set and can reconstruct the query string and influence the search results. And thus the search engines can provide self-adaptability. Using the extended Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk formalism,we investigate the conductance spectra of graphene ferromagnet/p wave superconductor *** is found that the conductance spectra are affected by the p wave pairing *** ferromagnetic exchange energy in the ferromagnet can suppress Andreev retroreflection but enhance the specular Andreev reflection in graphene ferromagnet/p wave superconductor *** conductance decreases with increasing exchange energy Eh for EhEF.

This paper considers anti-windup design for linear systems subject to actuator *** anti-windup gains are designed for activations immediately at the occurrence actuator saturation,after the saturation has reached a certain level and in anticipation of the occurrence of saturation,*** design is based on the minimization of L 2.gain from the disturbance to the controlled output of the resulting closed-loop *** anti-windup scheme involves a single anti-windup loop for immediate activation.A recent innovation is to design a single anti-windup loop for delayed or anticipatory activation,as well as to design two anti-windup gains,one for immediate activation and one for delayed *** design of three anti-windup gains for three different activations is shown through simulation to lead to significant further performance improvement over the previous activation schemes.
