In a generalized linear model with q x 1 responses, the bounded and fixed (or adaptive) p × q regressors Zi and the general link function, under the most general assumption on the minimum eigenvalue of ZiZ'i,the moment condition on responses as weak as possible and the other mild regular conditions, we prove that the maximum quasi-likelihood estimates for the regression parameter vector are asymptotically normal and strongly consistent.

Evaporation plays an important role in water balance on the land surface. In Northern china, the evaporation series of the recent 115 years was reconstructed on the basis of Yhornthwaite evaporation formula. The characteristics of the reconstructed series were analyzed using 10-year running mean filter, power spectrum method, and running t-text of abrupt changes on the paper. The results showed that there were remarkable interannual fluctuations with timescales of about quasi-8-year, 3-4-year, and quasi-2-year, and interdecadal oscillations with timescales of 57.5-year, quasi-23-year, and l l.5-year. Meanwhile, the abrupt changes of the evaporation series were also of interdecadal timescale. Either interannual fluctuations or interdecadal oscillations of evaporation were closely related to variations in air temperatures and precipitation.

A fast and real time luminosity monitor system will be used in the BEPC-Ⅱ(Beijing Electron Positron Collider,china).Photons generated in radiative Bhabha scattering at the interaction point are transformed into charged particles,and then the luminosity of each bunch pair is measured through collecting the Cherenkov light produced by charged particles in fused *** whole process happening in the detector is *** physics acceptance and detection threshold with the monitor accu-racy of 1% are set based on the simulation spectra of photoelectron yield calibrated by e-beam data.

The interannual-to-interdecadal relationship between the Pacific sea surface temperature (SST) and the northern hemispheric midlati- tude’s atmosphere represented by the circumpolar vortex was documented with the global oceanic and atmospheric reanalysis data of recent 50 *** covarying modes of the Pacific SST and northern circumpolar vortex anomalies during winter were examined using the sin- gular value decomposition and wavelet analysis *** is the interannual,ENSO-related mode and the other is the interdecadal, North Pacific SST-related mode with a period of around 20 *** two modes exhibit distinct spatial *** the interannual mode,the SST anomaly is characterized by a typical ENSO pattern with the principal signature in the tropical eastern Pacific and secondary one in the central North Pacific,while the atmospheric anomaly is regional,characterized by a Pacific-North American *** the inter- decadal mode,large SST anomaly is located in the central North Pacific,while the atmospheric anomaly is zonally global,associated with the midlatitute’s standing long-wave *** the central North Pacific is colder,the long-wave is stronger,and vice *** investigations suggest that the interdecadal mode could involve an interaction between "two oceans and an atmosphere".

Sea level pressure (SLP) anomalies over the southern high latitudes associated with the Indian Ocean Dipole Mode (IOD) are *** correlation and composite analysis depict,for the first time,the seasonal spatial variability in the relationship of SLP field in Southern Ocean with *** suggest that the IOD signal exists in the southern high latitudes and it is enhanced in boreal autumn,an active season of *** interannual to subdecadal timescales,the spatial teleconnection pattern exhibits a wavenum-ber-3 pattern around the circumpolar Southern Ocean and the lead-lag correlation analysis shows that there are about 3 months of SLP anomalies in southern high latitudes lagging IOD,which indicates that the response time is almost instantaneous.

The geometries,stabilities and electronic properties of Crn and CrnB(n=2-9) clusters have been systematically investigated by density functional *** results suggest that the lowest energy structures for CrnB clusters can be obtained by substituting one Cr atom in Crn+1 clusters with B *** geometries of CrnB clusters are similar to that of Crn+1 clusters except for local structural *** second-order difference and fragmentation energy show Cr4,Cr6,Cr8,Cr3B,Cr5B and Cr8B cluster are the most stable among these studied *** impurity B increases the stabilities of chromium *** B is doped on the Crn clusters,cluster geometry does dominate positive role in enhancing their *** doped B atom does not change the coupling way of the Cr site in Crn clusters,but breaks the symmetry and the Cr atoms are no longer *** doped B atom increases the total magnetic moments of Crn in most cases.

CAMSHIFT algorithm and Comaniciu/Meer algorithm are two fundamental frameworks of mean shift procedure for video target *** paper generalizes the two well-known mean shift tracking algorithms,originally due to Bradski and Comaniciu/Meer.A new general similarity function which defines the distance between the target model and target candidate is employed to calculate the pixel weights and the target *** target size is iteratively estimated and updated based on the zeroth order moment of the pixel *** we prove that both the CAMSHIFT algorithm and the Comaniciu/Meer algorithm can be included in the generalized mean shift tracking *** tracking performances of three mean shift algorithms in the unified framework are shown and compared in the experimental results.

Trace element(TE) and rare earth element(REE) contents in red soils from the Dongting Lake area of china were determined to understanding the provenance and weathering characteristics of the red *** results showed similar REE distribution patterns among red soils from the Dongting Lake area,Xiashu loess from Zhenjiang,loess and Pliocene red soil from the Loess *** patterns implied a similar provenance from dust-storms,except for red soil R5 which formed by bedrock weathering and had significant light REE(LREE) enrichment and heavy REE(HREE) depletion due to longer weathering periods and higher intensity of *** element,especially the Rb/Sr and Li/Ba ratios,and REE,especially the LREE/HREE ratio and δEu could trace weathering *** Rb/Sr,Li/Ba,and LREE/HREE ratios and negative Eu anomalies were present in the red soils from the Dongting Lake *** weathering intensity was in the decreasing order of R5 in the Dongting Lake area > red soils from the Dongting Lake area(including reticulate red soil,weak reticulate red soil,and homogeneous red soil formed by dust storms) > Xiashu loess from Zhenjiang > loess-paleosol and Pliocene red soil from the Loess *** in the TE and REE contents of soil could be effectively used to study the provenance and the weathering intensity.
