In this paper, an enhanced algorithm based on several elaborate harmonic grouping strategies for monaural voiced speech segregation is proposed. Main achievements of the proposed algorithm lie in three aspects. Firstly, the algorithm classifies the time-frequency (T-F) units into resolved and unresolved ones by carrier-to-envelope energy ratio, which leads to more accurate classification results than by cross-channel correlation. Secondly, resolved T-F units are grouped together according to minimum amplitude principle, which has been verified to exist in human perception, as well as the harmonic principle. Finally, "enhanced" envelope autocorrelation function is employed to detect amplitude modulation rates, which helps a lot in reducing half-frequency error in grouping of unresolved units. Systematic evaluation and comparison show that performance of separation is greatly improved by the proposed algorithm. Specifically, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is improved by 0.96 dB compared with that of previous method. Besides, our algorithm is also effective in improving the PESQ score and subjective perception score.

Some test statistics of Kolmogorov type and Cramér-von Mises type based on projection pursuit technique are proposed for the testing problem of sphericity of a high-dimensional distribution. The limiting distributions of the test statistics are derived under the null hypothesis and under any fixed alternative. The asymptotic properties of bootstrap approximation are investigated. Furthermore, for computational reasons, an approximation for the statistics, based on the number theoretic method, is suggested.

On basis of adopting polygeneration systems for power and alternative fuels,capturing CO2 with near zero energy penalties,and storing CO2 on sites,a new kind of Energy Network can integrate energy utilization,CO2 capture,transportation and storage ***-economic analysis of this solution focusing on Inner Mongolia and the Yangtze River Delta districts had been carried with comparison to the chain method for energy utilization and CO2 *** solution can save 21.5% of energy,and reduce 35% of total *** adoption of advanced polygeneration systems contributes 52.2% of the total saved costs,and the integration of energy utilization and CO2 sequestration in the Energy Network contributes 47.8%.From the aspect of CCS,the CO2 sequestration cost in the Energy Network can be as low as 1. $/t due to the lower energy penalties of capture in polygeneration systems and the combination of CO2 source and *** Energy Network exhibits attractive performance on energy saving,costs reduction for CCS,which may be a promising solution for sustainable development of China.

We used the Sloan Digital Sky Survey （SDSS） Data Release 5 （DR5） to study the morphological properties of 1.37 nearby infrared （IR） galaxies, most of which are brighter than 1..9 mag in r-band. This sample was drawn from a cross-correlation of the Infra-Red Astronomical Satellite （IRAS） point source catalog redshift survey with DR5 at z ≤ 0.08. Based on this IR galaxy sample, we constructed five volume-limited sub-samples with IR luminosity ranging from 1.^9.5 L⊙ to 1.^1.L⊙. By deriving the IR luminosity functions （LF） for different morphological types, we found that normal spiral galaxies are the dominant population below LIR ~ 8 ~ 1.^1. L⊙; while the fraction of barred spiral galaxies increases with increasing IR luminosity and becomes dominant in spiral galaxies beyond LIR ≈ 5 × 1.^1.L⊙. As the IR luminosity decreases, the IR galaxies become more compact and have lower stellar masses. The analysis also shows that normal spiral galaxies give the dominant contribution to the total comoving IR energy density in the nearby universe, while, in contrast, the contribution from peculiar galaxies is only 39%.

Characteristics of chlorine isotope distribution and analysis on sylvinite deposit formation based on ancient salt rock in the western Tarim Basin

During formation of the Tarim Basin, there repetitively happened seawater invasion for it was ever connected with wide Paleo-mediterranean Sea. At the same time, for the applica-tion of tectonic and paleoenvironmental condition, the basin deposits many sequences of thick strata of evaporites, especially in its two largest subbasins of Kuqa in the north and Shaqa in the southwest. Therefore, the western Tarim Basin has been considered to be a favorable location to prospect ancient sylvinite deposit. But it is unfortunate that the Br×1.3/Cl ratio, as a common geochemical index to uncover clues of sylvinite deposit, is almost invalid to indicate the stage of ancient brine condensation for very low content of bromine in salt rock samples (less than 1.?6 commonly) in the western Tarim Basin evaporites. Fortunately, we noticed recently that the val-ues of chlorine isotope (δ 37Cl value) for salt rock samples follow some clear laws from place to place, which in the Shaqa subbasin, all δ 37Cl values of salt rock samples behaved negatively and on the contrary, they all surprisingly showed positive values in the Kuqa subbasin. Based on conclusions of previous research and referring to the ratios of Br×1.3/Cl for salt rock or brine samples, we proved that the chlorine isotope (δ 37Cl) could be used as an effective index to find ancient sylvinite deposit in those evaporites rock basin with low content of Br element back-ground, such as the Tarim Basin. Thus according to the new index of chlorine isotope, we con-clude that the concentration of ancient brines formed ancient salt rocks is much more concen-trated in the Shaqa subbasin than that in the Kuqa subbasin. Particularly, the δ 37Cl value of salt rock in Kashi depression of the western Shaqa subbasin is greatly negative (1.00‰), which may predicate that the ancient brine has been concentrated to the terminal stage of salt deposit or even the later stage of sylvinite deposit. The photo-physical and photo-chemical properties of melatonin (ML) werestudied by 266 nm laser flash photolysis (LFP). ML undergoes photo-ionization to produce radicalcation of ML (ML^(·+))and hydrated electrons (e_(aq)^-), while excited triplet state ~3ML~* is alsoformed during photolysis. The oxidation via one electron transfer from ML to SO_4^(·+) and thetriplet state of riboflavin (~3RF~*) has been also investigated and the rate constants for theprocess have been determined to be 8.0x1.^9 and 1.4x1.^9 L·mol^(-1.·s^(-1. respectively. Theradical cation of 2,2''-azinobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)(ABTS^(·+)) scavengingcapacities of melatonin and other antioxidants are compared in this paper.

Ambient noise data measured in an experiment conducted in shallow water near a sea-route were analyzed. It was observed that, at low frequency, the horizontal correlation has an obvious difference from that predicted by the classical ambient noise model. The theoretical analyses show that this phenomenon is caused by wind noise together with the discrete shipping noise nearby. An ambient noise model was proposed to include the effects caused by both the noise sources. Data measured at different times verify that the proposed model can be used to forecast the ambient noise field in shallow water near the sea-route.

Since the concept of zero-knowledge protocols was introduced, it has attracted a lot of attention and in turn showed significant effect on the development of cryptography, complexity theory and other areas. The round complexity of a zero-knowledge protocol is a very important efficiency consideration, and it is required to be as small as possible. Generally, it is desirable to have zero-knowledge protocols with constant numbers of rounds. Goldreich and Oren proved that only languages in BPP have one-round and two-round zero-knowledge protocols. Moreover, they also showed that only languages in BPP have one-round honest-verifier zero-knowledge protocols. The notion of honest-verifier zero-knowledge protocols is highly non-trivial and fascinating itself, and has many other uses. Thus, the problem as to whether there exist two-round honest-verifier zero-knowledge protocols becomes an important open problem. In this paper, we introduce a new simulation technique and present a two-round honest-verifier zero-knowledge protocol for any language in N P under a standard complexity assumption based on this technique.

Low molecular weight polyethylenimine-poly(gamma-benzyl L-glutamate) (PEI-PBLG) was crosslinked by N,N'-cystaminebisacrylamide (CBA) to get the polymer named as CBA-PEI-PBLG (CPP).CPP not only inherits PEI-PBLG's amphiphilic advantages,but also possesses reducible *** can complex with DNA to form ***/DNA complex particles were characterized by particle size and zeta potential *** result showed that the complex particles have suitable size and surface charges for gene *** gel retardation assay also prove CBA-PEI-PBLG has proper condensing ability for *** has good reducible property,and also has good biocompatibility because of introducing PBLG *** cytotoxicity of CPP was evaluated using MTT assay,and the results showed CPP has lower cytotoxicity compared with PEI 25 *** transfection properties were characterized in different cells by using plasmid DNA as a *** showed higher transfection efficiencies and lower cytotoxicity in HeLa *** was attributed to bioreducible and biocompatibility properties of the *** results suggested that CPP is a promising low-toxic,highly effective non-viral gene carrier.
