Aim:Our previous data have shown that type Ⅱ alveolar epithelial(AEⅡ)cellsexpress neuropeptide calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP),and that pro-in-flammatory factor interleukin 1-β(IL-1β)induces CGRP secretion in the A549 hu-man AEⅡ cell *** the present study,we investigated the effect of endogenousand exogenous CGRP on IL-1β-induced chemokine interleukin-8(IL-8)***:We used enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and RT-PCR todetect IL-8 protein and mRNA levels,respectively,siRNA and the stably trans-fected cell line were used to knock down and overexpress the CGRP gene,respectively,and chemiluminescence assay was used to detect reactive oxygenspecies(ROS)***:CGRP-1 receptor antagonist hCGRP8-37(0.1-1nmol·L-1)greatly amplified IL-1β-induced IL-8 *** inhibition of CGRPexpression by siRNA significantly increased IL-8 secretion upon IL-1β ***,cell clones stably transfected with CGRP showed significantly inhibitedmRNA and protein levels of IL-8 induced by 1L-1β.Conclusion:These data implythat AEⅡ cell-derived CGRP suppress IL-1β-induced IL-8 secretion in an autocrine/paracrine *** investigation showed that CGRP attenuated IL-1β-arousedROS formation,which is an early indication of pro-inflammatory factor signaling.

The intelligent autonomous control of hypersonic vehicles has aroused great interest from the field of spacecraft. To solve the problem of longitudinal attitude control of hypersonic vehicle in gliding phase, a new intelligent controller is proposed in this paper. This new controller is based on the fuzzy dynamic characteristic modeling method. The fuzzy logic is introduced into the characteristic modeling by dividing the whole restriction range into several subspaces. Simulations show that this modification greatly improves the performance of the original method. With the same whole restriction range the fuzzy dynamic characteristic modeling decreases the time of convergence, and at the same time makes the attitude angle tracing more precise and robust. Since the sub-model is a characteristic model that has stronger adaptiveness than a fixed local model, the number of fuzzy rules is greatly reduced. Our model sharply reduces the complexity in constructing a fuzzy dynamic model. Finally, simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in dealing with the attitude control problem of hypersonic vehicle in gliding phase.

Lunar regolith parameters, such as physical temperature, thickness and dielectric constant, are important in studying regolith features, distribution of lunar resources and evolution of the Moon. There had been no measurement obtained by lunar-orbit-borne microwave radiometer applied to evaluate the properties of lunar regolith before CE-1 Lunar Microwave Sounder (CELMS) being launched. CEMLS is the first passive microwave radiometer in the world to sound the surface of the Moon. The brightness temperatures (TB) sensed by CELMS include complicated information on the above geophysical parameters. In this paper, algorithms of retrieving dielectric constant, regolith thickness, and 3He content from CELMS brightness temperatures are developed, and the results are compared with those from literature. The results show that the regolith thicknesses are mostly in the range of 4.0-6.0 m, and 43% of them are bigger than 5.0 m. The content of 3He evaluated by retrieved regolith thickness is about 1.03 million tons.

An unsymmetric 2,6-bis(imino)pyridine iron(II) complex 1' was synthesized. The relationship between catalyststructure and its activity in ethylene polymerization is discussed. The kinetic behavior of ethylene polymerization and theeffects of polymerization conditions such as temperature, aluminum/iron molar ratio on the activity of catalyst and thecharacteristics of polyethylene were reported. The unsymmetric catalyst 1' has a good catalytic performance of 3.47×10~6 gPE·mol^(-1)·Fe·h^(-1) at 40℃ with aluminum/iron molar ratio = 2500. A dependence of catalyst activity on themethylaluminoxane (MAO) concentration and reaction temperature was found. The molecular weight (MW) of polyethylenewith broad dispersity is about 10~4-10~5 g/mol. The melting temperature and branching of polyethylenes vary with changingreaction temperature and aluminum/iron molar ratio.

Tremendous progress has been achieved in white light-emitting diodes (LEDs). To further improve the quality of white light and simplify the fabrication process, a single chip white-light LED with the InGaN underlying layer (UL) was studied and fabricated. The turn-on voltage of this type of LED was 2.7 V, and the spectrum at a forward bias current of 20 mA was comprised of blue (443 nm) and yellow (563 nm) lights. The intensity ratio of blue to yellow light was almost constant with the in- creasing injection current in a certain scope, most important for the solid state illumination. The useful life test showed the light output level remained at a 90% light output level at the driving current of 40 mA after 300 h, meanwhile, the UV and blue LEDs combined with phosphor reached a 20% value after 144 h within 300 h.

A series of syndiotactic polystyrene (SPS) samples in β crystalline form were prepared by cooling from the melt at various cooling rates. The effects of cooling rate from the melt, and DSC heating rate on the multiple melting behaviors of β crystals were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and modulated differential scanning calorimetry (MDSC), from which the *** the multiple melting behavior was ascribed to the occurring of a recrystallization process.
