The synthesis of organized mesoporous alumina has exploring new territory for application of this type of materials,particularly as catalysts or catalyst *** specific surface area and thermal stability are the major requirements for alumina as catalyst *** this paper,we report a facile synthesis of ordered and high thermal stability mesoporous alumina doping with La or Ce ions under hydrochloric acid *** stability improvements by rare earth(La and Ce) doping are *** our work,we find that both rare earth doping can effectively stabilize the amorphous walls of alumina *** material presents the ability to maintain the surface area and pore structure upon prolonged heating below 700℃. Further more,as the results shows the modification of La for improving the thermal stability is more effective than ***,Cl does not strongly influence the self-assembly process in the closed system.

CO2-rich cold springs occur near the active volcanoes at Wudalianchi （五大连池）, Northeast china. The springs are rich in CO2, with HCO3.as the predominant anion and have elevated contents of total dissolved solid （TDS）（〉1 000 mg/L）, Fe^2＋（〉20 mg/L）, Sr （〉1 mg/L）, and dissolved Si （〉20 mg/L）. The compositions of escaped and dissolved gases of the springs are similar. The δ^13. values of escaped gases and dissolved gases in mineral springs at Wudalianchi vary from -8.77‰ to -4.53. and -8.24‰ to -5.26‰, while δ^18O values vary from -10.68‰ to -7.65‰ and -10.3.‰ to -8.84‰, respectively, indicating the same upper mantle origin of CO2 of escaped gases and dissolved gases in the springs. Carbon and oxygen isotope fractionations and water-CO2 exchange were weak in the process of groundwater flow. The 4He content exceeds 5 000×10-6 cm^3.STP/mL in escaped gases of the mineral springs, and the 3.e/4He ratios of the escaped and dissolved gases vary from 2.64Ra to 3.87Ra and 1.18Ra to 3.3.Ra, respectively. It can be postulated that the CO2 of mineral springs deriving from the magma chamber of the upper mantle moves upward to the surface, to increase the content of 4He in the mineral springs and decrease the ratio of 3.e/4He. The helium origin of escaped gases in springs can be calculated with the MORB-crust mixing model, but that in the north spring can be better explained with the MORB-crust-air mixing model due to the effect of mixing with surface water. However, dissolved helium in springs, except the north spring, is better explained with the MORB-crust-ASW mixing model.

Based on the unconformities, the formation times of structures, and geological wave filtering applied to basin fills of typical wells around the Manjiaer area in the Tarim basin, the wave tectono-sedimentary processes in the Tarim Basin are discussed. The results of geological wave filtering of basin fills of typical wells show that, in time domain, the evolution of the Tarim basin was controlled by various wave processes with the periods of 740±Ma, 200±Ma, 100±Ma and 3.±Ma. The analyses of basin fills, basin subsidence and unconformities show that the trends of the sedimentary facies belts, depocenters, and centers of subsidence migrated and interchanged periodically with periods of 200±Ma. These show the propagation of wave movements in space domain. The wave evolution of the Tarim basin is of significance to understanding the formation of the oil and gas reservoirs in the basin.

More than ten Triassic syenite plutons are revealed to be distributed in North Korea along the boundary to South *** Tokdal Complex is one of these but is unique in its incorporation of early pyroxenite cumulate in the clinopyroxene/amphibole/biotite/nepheline-bearing syenite main body.A SHRIMP U-Pb zircon age of 224±4 Ma was obtained from a biotite syenite sample. Clinopyroxene in pyroxenite is zoned,with either phlogopite and apatite inclusion or ilmenite and magnetite exsolution,and may have resulted from crystallization at high pressure in an active continental margin arc environment followed by ascent and *** pyroxenite and syenite are enriched in light REE and LILE,but strongly depleted in HFSE,with Sr/860Sr values of～0.7115 andεNd values of -14 to -20(t = 224 Ma).The Tokdal Complex could have originated from an enriched lithospheric mantle and undergone assimilation of juvenile materials during differentiation. It indicates an extension of post-collisional magmatism in the Sino-Korean *** complex along with many other Triassic plutons in the Sino-Korean craton together constitute three syenite belts along the northern,southern and eastern margins of the craton,possibly resulting in its final configuration in eastern Asia.

Soil salinization is one of the most common land degradation processes. In this study, spectral measurements of saline soil samples collected from the Yellow River Delta region of china were conducted in laboratory and hyperspectral data were acquired from an EO-1 Hyperion sensor to quantitatively map soil salinity in the region. A soil salinity spectral index (SSI) was constructed from continuum-removed reflectance (CR-reflectance) at 2052 and 2203.nm, to analyze the spectral absorption features of the salt-affected soils. There existed a strong correlation (r = 0.91) between the SSI and soil salt content (SSC). Then, a model for estimation of SSC with SSI was established using univariate regression and validation of the model yielded a root mean square error (RMSE) of 0.986 and an R2 of 0.873. The model was applied to a Hyperion reflectance image on a pixel-by-pixel basis and the resulting quantitative salinity map was validated successfully with RMSE = 1.921 and R2 = 0.627. These suggested that the satellite hyperspectral data had the potential for predicting SSC in a large area.

This study provides a reconstruction of the environmental evolution since 128 ka recorded by the lipid biomarkers of the C-C n-alkanes,the C-C n-alkan- 2-ones and the C-C n-alkanols isolated from the Tawan loess section,Northwest *** in paleoenvironment are reconstmcted from the values of the carbon preference index(CPI),the average chain length(ACL), the L/H(ratio of lower-molecular-weight to higher-molecular -weight homologues),the n-alkane C/C ratios,and the n-alkan-2-one C/C *** parameters indicate the dominance of grasses over the west Chinese Loess Plateau(CLP) during the late Pleistocene. Lower values of the CPI and the ACL values,respectively, indicate stronger microbial reworking of organic matter and changes in plant species,which are both indicative of a warmer-wetter ***,the fluctuations of environment recorded in the Tawan section exhibit ten phases that show obvious cycles between warm periods and cold *** study reveals that changes in the biomarker proxies agree well with changes in the magnetic susceptibility and grain size,and it indicates a huge potential for paleoenvironmental reconstructions by using the n-alkan-2-one and n-alkanol proxies.

Pyrite is a sensitive mineral in the geological environment, and its oxidation produces an important geochemical and environmental effect on the control of the redox and pH conditions. Column experiment results were used for modeling the geochemical processes in uranium mill tailings under leaching conditions. Oxidation of pyrite dominates the control of the tailings leaching process. The experimental and modeling results show that the leachate chemistry changes substantially with the decrease in pyrite consumption. In the initial stage of the leaching experiment, the pyrite is consumed several hundred times greater than that in the later stages, for much more oxygen is present in the tailings in the initial stage. As the experiment continues, the tailings is gradually saturated with water and the oxygen concentration greatly decreases and so does pyrite consumption. The experimental and modeling results are useful for the design of mill tailing decommissioning: oxidation process and transport of radioactive nuclides and heavy metals can be constrained by controlling the oxygen concentration of tailings and the infiltration of meteoric water.

Zircon U-Pb and hornblende Ar/Ar dating document an Early Permian emplacement time for the Hercynian Guyang batholith from the northern margin of the North china Craton(NCC),with a variety of lithologies including:gabbro-gabbroic diorite-leuconorite,diorite and granodiorite,microgranular magmatic enclaves(MME),mafic dyke and *** relations,petrological,elemental,whole-rock Sr-Nd and zircon Hf isotopic data show that(1) the gabbros and gabbroic diorites exhibit strong enrichment of large ion lithophile element(LILE) and lightrare earth element(LREE),depletion in high field strength element(HFSE), and have moderately enriched isotopic compositions with Sr/Sr ranging from 0.7050 to 0.7053.ε(t) from - 8.08 to - 10.2 and zirconε(t) from - 6.7 to - 12.0;while the leuconorites are characterized by low REE contents,conspicuous positive Eu anomaly and comparable Sr-Nd compositions to gabbroic *** features suggest that they may represent complementary products from a parental magma derived from a subduction-related metasomatized sub-continental lithospheric mantle(SCLM) source;(2) the monzogranites range from 74.3.to 75.6%SiO,with high Sr-Ba abundances and elevated Sr/Y and La/Yb *** high-silica adakitic affinity,plus their indistinguishable isotopic compositions from the mafic ones(Sr/ Sr = 0.7053.to 0.7055,ε(t) = - 10.5 to - 11.3.zirconε(t) = -8.5 to -11.8),indicates a felsic parental magma from partial melting of mixed protoliths composed of newly underplated mafic lower crustal and ancient mafic lower crustal materials;(3. the diorites and granodiorites contain abundant MME and display various scales of petrologic textures indicative of magma *** also have intermediate geochemical compositions between gabbroic diorite and *** with their evolved isotopic compositions(Sr/ Sr = 0.7050 to 0.7064,ε(t) = -8.3. to -13.9,zirconε(t) = - 7.9 to -15.5),they are inferred to be formed by mixing between SCLM-derived mafic magma and cru
