Under the circumstance of collaborative research ＆ development of PLM platform-based networked products, the demands on browse and check of WEB-based CAD model are strong. Based on the study of the distributed agent technology, the framework visualized conversion technology of distributed agent-based CAD model was developed, and verification technical route of neutral visualized conversion was designed for the heterogeneous CAD model. In accordance with the requirements of the development and implementation of an enterprise-level PLM system, the study was made to apply the distributed software agent technology into the neutral-format conversion from various CAD models （***/E, UG and CATIA） with software agent. With the integration of department-level PDM and enterprise-level PLM, the concentrated effective management of neutral visualized files from different CAD models could be well achieved. Besides, the conversion of Pro/E is presented as an example in this paper to provide a detailed description of the configuration and flow-process of the visualized conversion based on software agent. According to the results of verification, the feasibility of such technology framework and technical route was demonstrated to provide a minimized dependence on the network bandwidth and a better collaborative efficiency.

＜正＞Job-shop scheduling is a difficult type of production planning problem, of which the primary characteristic is that the processing route of each job is different. Mostly, more than one workpiece of each type are to be produced in practical production. Thus makes the batch job-shop sequencing problem more important, although there is little literature concerning it. In most studies on job-shop scheduling problems, the objective is usually to determine the sequence of jobs to minimize the makespan. The delay time of jobs, the availability of key machine and the average queuing time of jobs are also the objectives to be considered synthetically in real manufacturing process. In this paper, a batch job-shop scheduling problem with multi-objectives is studied. First, the description of this problem is given with its model and the mathematical model of the multi-objectives. Then, it is proposed how to decide the starting time of jobs on machines under different move ways. An immune algorithm based on the biological immunity mechanism is used to solve this problem. Finally an illustrative example is tested on the software programmed according to this algorithm. The results show that the immune algorithm proposed can solve batch job shop scheduling with multi-objectives and it is important to consider batch during scheduling.

Autonomous Path Planning For Robot Manipulators in manufacturing Environment

A robot intelligent path planning system(RIPPS), which can be used as a robot off-line programming tool was introduced in this paper. C-space modeling and path search are key parts of the system. A fast C-space modeling is presented based on critical collision joint angle(CCJA), C-obstacle boundary can be computed by the feature points of obstacles. A modified A* algorithm is used for path search, although the path is slightly sub-optimal, a tremendous speed increase is achieved. RIPPS runs on a Silicon Graphic 4D/70 workstation, simulation results show that the system is efficient and practical for robot collision-free autonomous path planning in a structured and known environment.

Advances and Future Issues for STEP-compliant NC Manufacture

Over the last years a new data model,known as STEP-NC,has been proposed and accepted as an international standard (ISO 14649) to replace ISO 6983 (G&M code programming). STEP-NC enables bi-directional communication of high-level geometric and manufacturing information,and provides a way of interoperable and adaptable NC manufacturing of mechanical components. This paper starts with an overview of the STEP-NC data model,provides a brief review of the global research and development activities,and tries to identify the issues and challenges for the application of the new standard and the implementation of related systems. This paper also provides a vision of the STEP-compliant NC manufacturing and the development trends of related technologies and systems,focusing on STEP-compliant CNCs.

This paper put forward architecture of supply chain system base on complex product life cycle to deal with the cost optimization problem of customized complex products supply chain. Built the basic model and extended model of supply chain cost optimization with the constraint of waiting time of client, ability of product value-increased, productive capacity and logistics capability and aimed that the minimization of supply chain total cost that based on customized products operation activity. The influence of positions of Customer Order Decoupling Point (CODP) on total cost was analyzed. It is point that total cost changed as the positions of CODP moving with the trend of convex function. At last, the model of supply chain cost optimization was simulated. The results indicate that only when the positions of CODP in the middle reaches of production, the customized production of complex products could be realized with low cost and high efficiency by enterprises.
