Study on inhibitory effect by total alkaloids in Capparis spinosa on SGC-7901 in vitro

The metabolites of benzo[k]fluoranthene under the peroxynitrite /T（p-Cl）PPFeCl （peroxynitrite/（chloride）iron（III）tetrakis （p-chlorophenyl）porphyrin） system have been identified with HPLC-MS. The results showed that benzo[k]fluoranthene was activated to form two new metabolites induced by PN/p-ClFeTPPCl system, which were OH group, and nitro group. In the Ames test, admixture of benzo[k]fluoranthene metabolites showed significantly high mutagenicity while benzo[k]fluoranthene parent did not show positive result during the test.

Objective To investigate the apoptosis effect of Total alkaloids on human gastric cancer cells SGC-7901 from Capparis spinosa(C.S)and possible mechanism of *** SGC-7901 cells were treated with different concentrations of the Total alkaloids in *** assay and SRB assay were used to observe the inhibitory rate of the Total alkaloids,and fluorescence microscope,flow cytometry and used to observe the influence of the Total alkaloids on cell apoptosis and cell cycle changes of *** The results showed total alkaloids can inhibit the growth of human gastric adenoma cells *** using mononuclear cell direct cytotoxicity assay(the MTT method)shows that its cytotoxic effect on SGC-7901 is strong,with IC50 being 142.895 μg·mL-1,*** from SRB assay show that the anticancer effect of Total alkaloids is cytostatic at low concentration,with LC50 for this cells being 41.271 μg·mL-1,respectively,but it becomes mainly cytotoxic at high concentration,with GI50 for SGC-7901 being 244·932 μg·mL-1,*** alkaloids can induce apoptosis in tumor ***-eight hours after they are treated with total alkaloids of different concentrations,SGC-7901 cells are stained with Hoechst33258 *** using a fluorescence microscope reveals that total alkaloids can cause the chromatin in tumor cell nuclei to condense and *** nuclei condense into a uniform,dense mass and then break *** keep on forming on the cell membrane and then dropping off,so that the cell breaks up into several apoptotic bodies of different *** total alkaloids concentration is increased,these morphological changes under the microscope become more and more clear,indicating that the proportion of cells undergoing apoptosis is gradually *** treating with 75,150 and 300 μg·mL-1 of the total alkaloids in C.S for 72 h,the apoptotic rates of SGC-7901 cells were 8.7%,14.309%,0.819%.Conclusions Inducing apoptosis is one of

Mg3（PO4）2-coated Li1.05Ni1/3Mn1/33Co1/3O2 cathode materials were synthesized via co-precipitation method. The morphology, structure, electrochemical performance and thermal stability were characterized by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, cyclic voltammetry（CV）, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS）, charge/discharge cycling and differential scanning calorimeter （DSC）. SEM analysis shows that Mg3（PO4）2-coating changes the morphologies of their particles and increases the grains size. XRD and CV results show that Mg3（PO4）2-coating powder is homogeneous and has better layered structure than the bare one. Mg3（PO4）2-coating improved high rate discharge capacity and cycle-life performance. The reason why the cycling performance of Mg3（PO4）2-coated sample at 55 ℃ was better than that of room temperature was the increasing of lithium-ion diffusion rate and charge transfer rate with temperature rising. Mg3（PO4）2-coating improved the cathode thermal stability, and the result was consistent with thermal abuse tests using Li-ion cells： the Mg3（PO4）2 coated Li1.05Ni1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2 cathode did not exhibit thermal runaway with smoke and explosion, in contrast to the cells containing the bare Li1.05Ni1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2.

In this experiment lung carcinoma was induced by crocidolite plus benzo(a)pyrene in rat. From the cancer models, we observcd that the incidcnce (16.0%) of lung carcinomas was lowel, and the survival time (376 days) of the first case of carcinoma and the mean survival time (758 days) of the rats with carcinoma were higher in the group of rats drinking 2% green tea extract for life than in the positive group (without drinking green tea extract). The mortality ratio (0.5047) was smaller in the cxperimental group than in the positive control group, and the survival curve of the experimental group significantly raised up, in comparison with the positive group.

Genetic improvement of the digestibility of rice straw for increasing the utilization of the whole rice plant as feedstuffs is an important way to solve the feedstuffs shortage in southeastern china. To elucidate the genetic basis of the traits affecting the digestibility of rice straw, a rice population of 111 recombinant inbred lines （RILs） derived from a cross of Nekken 2xGaya was used to map the quantitative traits loci （QTLs） for in vitro dry matter digestion （IVDMD）, the percentages of nonstructural carbohydrate （NSC） and acid detergent fiber （exclusive of residual ash, ADFom） in 2005 and 2006. IVDMD was positively correlated with NSC, and negatively correlated with ADFom. A total of 16 QTLs were detected in the two years, and the amounts of variation explained by individual QTLs ranged from 6.9% to 15.5%. Some QTLs for IVDMD and ADFom on chromosome 2 were detected in the two years. On chromosome 2, the interval RM475-RM3515 contained QTLs for IVDMD in the two years and for NSC in 2006 only, while the interval RM3874-RM5305 influenced ADFom in the two years and NSC in 2005 only. At those loci, Gaya contributed favorable alleles to IVDMD and NSC, while Nekken 2 contributed positive alleles to ADFom.

The data of 16o national meteorological observatory stations including the long-term monthly temperature data in china were analyzed to study the seasonal variation of the spatial temperature structures across china in the past half century. It is found that temperature structures differ between seasons： a latitude temperature pattern in winter and a landform temperature pattern in summer, which indicate that the effect of landform on temperature structure is much stronger in summer than that in winter and the effect of latitudinal temperature is much stronger in winter than that in summer. The mechanisms of the seasonal difference in temperature structures are also discussed in this paper.

A depth profile of bacterial community structure in one deep-sea sediment core of the western Pacific "warm pool" (WP) was investigated and compared with that in a sediment sample from the eastern Pacific (EP) by phylogenetic analysis of 16S rDNA fragments. Five bacterial 16S rDNA clone libraries were constructed, and 133 clones with different restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) patterns were sequenced. A phylogenetic analysis of these sequences revealed that the bacterial diversity in a sample from the WP was more abundant than that in the EP sample. The bacterial population in the sediment core of WP was composed of eight major lineages of the domain bacteria. Among them the γ-Proteobacteria was the predominant and most diverse group in each section of WP sediment core, followed by the α-Proteobacteria. The genus Colwellia belonging to γ-Proteobacteria was predominant in this sample. The shift of bacterial communities among different sections of the WP sediment core was δ-, ε-Proteobacteria, and Cytopahga-Flexibacteria-Bacteroides (CFB) group. The ratios between them in the bacterial communities all showed inversely proportional to the depth of sediment. The sequences related to sulphate reducing bacteria (SRB) were detected in every section. The bacterial community structure in this sediment core might be related to the environmental characteristics of the surface seawater of the western Pacific WP.
