Background Surgical resection of the lesions remains the main treatment method for most symptomatic spinal cord cavernous malformations(SCCMs)to eliminate the occupation and associated subsequent lifelong haemorrhagic ***,the timing of surgical intervention remains controversial,especially for patients in the acute stage after severe *** Patients diagnosed with SCCMs who were surgically treated between January 2002 and December 2021 were selected and retrospectively *** Modified McCormick Scale(MMS)was used to evaluate neurological and disability *** medical information was reviewed,and all patients were followed up for at least 6 *** A total of 279 patients were ultimately *** regard to long-term outcomes,110(3..4%)patients improved,159(57.0%)remained unchanged and 10(3.6%)*** patients with an MMS score of 2–5 on admission,in univariate and multivariate analyses,a≤6 weeks period between onset and surgery(adjusted OR 3.211,95%CI 1.504 to 6.856,p=0.003.was a significant predictor of improved *** 69 patients who first presented with severe haemorrhage,undergoing surgery within 6 weeks of the onset of severe haemorrhage(adjusted OR 4.901,95%CI 1.126 to 21.3.5,p=0.03.)was significantly associated with improvement of MMS *** Surgical timing can influence the long-term outcome of *** patients with symptomatic SCCMs,especially those with severe haemorrhage,early surgical intervention within 6 weeks can provide more benefit.

An analysis of the key factors affecting on the single production process job scheduling of the parts waiting for be- ing processed on the key equipments for SMEs (Small Manufacturing Enterprises) is given in this paper,which include interval number,real number and uncertain linguistic value.A kind of hybrid multi-attribute decision making method for the single pro- duction process job scheduling is presented in this paper,that the parts are firstly sorted about each factor,and then the total evalu- ative attributive value of each part is calculated with the method of weighted arithmetic average,and thus the part with the highest total evaluative attributive value is chosen for being processed *** mathematic model corresponding to the method is set up in this *** example is studied in this paper,and the results of the example testify the correctness of this model.

A dual-kernel-based tracking approach for visual target is proposed in this paper. The similarity between candidate and target model, and the contrast between candidate and its neighboring background are considered simultaneously when evaluating a target candidate. The similarity is measured by Bhattacharyya coefficient while the contrast is calculated with Jensen-Shannon divergence, and they are adaptively fused into a novel objective function. By maximizing the linear approximation of objective function, a dual-kernel target location-shift relation from current location to a new location is induced. According to the location-shift relation, the optimal target location can be recursively gained in the mean shift procedure. Experimental evaluations on several image sequences demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can gain more accurate target location and better identification power to false target, and it is also robust to deformation and partial occlusion.

In this paper,we propose a new media access control (MAC) protocol,which is compatible with the IEEE 802.16e-2005 Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) wireless *** this protocol,the same radio resource can be shared by neighboring cells in the wireless mesh network (WMN) and collisions can be reduced in the overlapping *** protocol consists of two schemes: a downlink transmission and an uplink *** downlink transmission we use a cross layer adaptive radio resource allocation (CL-ARRA) scheme,which consists of two steps: a dynamic subcarrier allocation (DSA) and a dynamic power allocation (DPA).For uplink transmission we propose a new subcarrier backoff scheme and use the Markov chain model to analyze this *** this protocol,we analyze the performance of the downlink and the uplink operation in the OFDMA *** analytical results are well matched to the simulation *** then extend our model to a star-mesh topology with multiple overlapped *** results show that the performance can be improved with the application of the superior capability of our proposed MAC protocol to deal with collisions in the overlapped regions.

The global robust exponential stability of a class of neural networks with polytopic uncertainties and distributed delays is investigated in this ***-dependent Lypaunov-Krasovskii functionals and free-weighting matrices are employed to obtain sufficient condition that guarantee the robust global exponential stability of the equilibrium point of the considered neural *** derived sufficient condition is proposed in terms of a set of relaxed linear matrix inequalities (LMIs),which can be checked easily by recently developed algorithms solving LMIs.A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.

The circular packing problem with equilibrium constraints is an optimization problem about simplified satellite module layout design.A heuristic algorithm based on tabu search is put forward for solving this *** algorithm begins from a random initial configuration and applies the gradient method with an adaptive step length to search for the minimum energy *** jump out of the local minima and avoid the search doing repeated work,the algorithm adopts the strategy of tabu *** the process of tabu search,we improve the traditional neighboring solutions,tabu objects and the acceptance criteria of the current solution *** test two sets of benchmarks consisting of 11 representative instances from the current *** numerical results show that the proposed algorithm breaks the records in seven out of 11 instances,and obtains the optimal solutions for the other four instances.
