Friction-reducing and antiwear behavior of metal halide-stabilized linear phosphazene derivatives as lubricants for a steel-on-steel contact

A series of novel metal halide-stabilized linear phosphazene derivatives were synthesized. The friction-reducing and antiwear abilities of the resulting products as the lubricants for a steel-on-steel contact were comparatively investigated on an Optimol SRV oscillating friction and wear tester. The morphology of the worn steel surface was observed on a scanning electron microscope, while the chemical states of some typical elements on the worn steel surface were examined by means of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It was found that both the side branch structures and central metals influenced the friction-reducing and antiwear behaviors of the synthetic derivatives as the lubricants, which was related to the different adsorption activities of the organic compounds composed of different organic ingredients and metallic ions on a nascent metal surface. All the synthetic lubricants except for the iron (III) derivative showed increased antiwear abilities with increasing metallic ionic radius. A protective layer originated from the tribochemical reaction together with the adsorbed boundary lubricating layer containing organic fluorine compounds, nitrogen oxide, and Fe 3 (PO 4 ) 2 plays an important role in improving the friction and wear behavior of the steel-on-steel system.

Synthesis and characterization of Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-σ)

Perovskite-type Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-σ （BSCFO） powders were synthesized using two methods, solid-state reaction （SSR） method and citrate-EDTA complexing method （CC-EDTA）. Then the powders were pressed to green disks of 19 nun in diameter and sintered at 1140℃ for 5 h. The shrinkage rate and relative density of the membranes prepared from the perovskite-type powders were determined and calculated, and the powders and derived membranes were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. The resuits show that the shrinkage rates of the two kinds of disks are nearly the same （about 10%）. The disks prepared by the SSR method had a bigger grain size and lower relative density than those prepared by the CC-EDTA method. The conductivity of the membranes prepared by the SSR method was about 38 S/cm, higher than that of the membranes prepared by the CC-EDTA method, which was about 30 S/cm, at the same temperature of600℃.

The discovery of Puguang Gas Field provides the exploration of china deep marine carbonate rock with important *** Puguang Gas Field,the dolomite reservoirs discovered in the deep are the best in the present of china,which present big thickness and wide-range distribution,and develop abundant secondary *** researches show that Puguang Gas Field bears the characteristics of early gas-filling time,deep burial,high matured organic matter and long-term interaction of hydrocarbon(oil and gas)-water-rock(carbonate reservoir).The developments of secondary pores in this area are affected by multiple diagenesis and their formation mechanisms are *** the research on depositional environment,sedimentary facies and reservoir porosity characters of Changxing and Feixianguan Formations,it is thought that high-quality dolomite reservoirs of Puguang Gas Field form on the favorable sedimentary facies belts,which are the integrate result affected by several factors including superficial corrosion,burial corrosion,overpressure and tectonic movement,among which burial corrosion of TSR to reservoir and overpressure formed by thermal evolution of organic matter have great effect on the formation of secondary porosity of Changxing and Feixianguan Formations.

Treatment of electroplating wastewater

To study the feasibility of treated water being used as rinsing water with CP/ED (chemical precipitation/ electrodialysis) system, the relation between concentration of Cr (Ⅵ) and conductivity of water is investigated, the effect of electrodialysis (ED) for different wastewater is also studied. And several parameters of importance that are relevant to the process are identified. Analysis of ICP (Inductively coupled plasma) and IC (Ion chromatography) shows that the main reason of conductivity increase in CP treated water is the increase of Na+ and Cl- ions. The 93.8%-100% of ions from wastewater both in ED and CP/ED systems was removed successfully. The results of experiments indicate that the CP/ED system is a feasible method for electroplating wastewater treatment, the CP/ED system used as a way of wastwater is not only in favour of environment, but also economic beneficial to achieve.

Preparation and Characterization of Polylactide/Montmorillonite Nanocomposites

The montmorillonite, a form of layered silicate, was successfully intercalated into polylactide （PLA） matrix through solvent-casting technique. In addition, PLA/MMT nanocomposite films were produced, in which homogenous distribution of the silicate lamellae plays a key role in the mechanical properties of the films. A small amount（5wt%） of OMMT intercalated into the PLA matrix resulted in their flexibility enhancement, from 3.68%（pure PLA film） to 352.65%. The results of wide-angle X-ray diffraction （WAXD） patterns confirmed that the silicate interlayer distance increased from 3.044 nm （for OMMT） to 3.56nm （for 5wt%, maximum） with increasing OMMT contents, but decreased to 3.319 nm when OMMT content was over 8wt%. FT-IR also verified the molecular-level associations between PLA chains and OMMT lamellae by vibration variances of hydrogen bonding. DSC thermograms demonstrated that thermal stabilities of the nanocomposite films enhanced, due to the silicate lamellae dispersed into PLA matrix.

High precision slope deformation monitoring model based on the GPS/Pseudolites technology in open-pit mine

As the number and geometric intensity of visual satellites are susceptible to large slopes in open-pit mines, we propose integration of GPS/Pseudolites (PLs) positioning technology which can increase the number of visible satellites, strengthen the geometric intensity of satellites and provide a precision solution for slope deformation monitoring. However, the un-modeled systematic errors are still the main limiting factors for high precision baseline solution. In order to eliminate the un-modeled systematic error, the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) theory is employed. The multi-scale decomposition and reconstruction architecture are defined here on the basis of the EMD theory and the systematic error mitigation model is demonstrated as well. A standard of the scale selection for the systematic error elimination is given in terms of the mean of the accumulated standardized modes. Thereafter, the scheme of the GPS/PLs baseline solution based on the EMD is suggested. The simulation and experiment results show that the precision factors (DOP) are reduced greatly when PLs is located suitably. The proposed scheme dramatically improves the reliability of ambiguity resolution and the precision of baseline vector after systematic error being eliminated, and provides an effective model for high precision slope deformation monitoring in open-pit mine.

The Compatibility of Polycarboxylate-Type Superplasticizers with Cement

Four polycarboxylate- type （ PC ） superplasticizers of different functional groups were used ; their dispersing and retaining behaviors were analyzed through ZETA potential measurement, mini-slump test of cement paste and performance test of concrete. The experimental results show that the dispersing and flow-retaining ability of PC was determined by two factors of anionic groups and nonionic groups ： the density of anionic groups - COO^- or - SO3^- acted on the electronic repulsive force. and the length and proportion of nonionic graft groups of PEO in PC chemical stracture affected the steric effect. The compatibility between PC superplasticizers and cement mainly depended on the type of PEO groups ; furtlwrmore, adding mineral powders is good to the compatibility for high performance concretes （ HPCs ）.

Motion behavior of particles in air-solid magnetically stabilized fluidized beds for separation

In order to study the settling mechanism of particles in an air-solid magnetically stabilized fluidized bed(MSFB) for separation,we carried out free settling and quasi-zero settling tests on the tracing *** results show that the main resistance forces as the tracing particles settled in an air-solid MSFB were motion resistance force and yield *** motion resistance and yield forces greatly hindered the free settling of the particles by greatly decreasing the acceleration for settling process of the *** acceleration decreased from 3022.62 cm/s 2 to zero in 0.1 s,and in the end,the particles stopped in the air-solid *** yield force on particles increased with increasing the magnetic field intensity,resulting in decrease of the quasi-zero settling ***,the yield force on particles decreased with increasing the fluidized air velocity,leading to increase of the quasi-zero settling *** the structure and operating parameters of the air-solid MSFB were set up,the yield stress on particles stopped in an air-solid MSFB was a function of diameter and density of *** settling displacements of equal diameter particles increased with increasing their densities,and the settling displacements of equal density particles increased with increasing their diameters.

Resonance scattering spectral detection of ultratrace IgG using immunonanogold-HAuCl_4-NH_2OH catalytic reaction

Nanogold particles of 10 nm were used to label goat anti-human IgG (GIgG) to obtain nanogold-labeled GIgG (AuGIgG). In a citrate-HCl buffer solution of pH 2.27,AuGIgG showed a strong catalytic effect on the reaction between HAuCl4 and NH2OH to form big gold particles that exhibited a resonance scatter-ing (RS) peak at 796 nm. Under the chosen conditions,AuGIgG combined with IgG to form immuno-complex AuGIgG-IgG that can be removed by centrifuging at 16000 r/min. AuGIgG in the centrifuging solution also showed catalytic effect on the reaction. On those grounds,an immunonanogold catalytic RS assay for IgG was designed. With addition of IgG,the amount of AuGIgG in the centrifuging solution decreased; the RS intensity at 796 nm (I796 nm) decreased linearly. The decreased intensity ΔI796 nm was linear with respect to the IgG concentration in the range of 0.08-16.0 ng·mL-1 with a detection limit of 0.02 ng·mL-1. This assay was applied to analysis of IgG in sera with satisfactory sensitivity,selectivity and rapidity.

Based on the equilibrium theory of chemical reactions between water and rocks,this paper establishes a thermodynamic phase relationship diagram among calcites,dolomites and water solution under the condition of diagenesis based on the thermodynamic database of related minerals and fluids and dolomite's degree of order *** has been discovered that the equilibrium between calcites and dolomites in the diagenetic environment is strongly impacted by temperature and the Ca/Mg ratios in groundwater,and that the dolomite's degree of order in the diagenetic environment is a function of crystallization temperature and time,not controlled by water ***,the authors make a further analysis of the close relationship of chemical reaction between carbonate cements and pore water in the sandstone reservoirs of Kala 2 gas field in Kuche *** can be seen that there are different impacts on sandstone reservoir quality among the equilibrium system of calcites,dolomites and pore water at different depths of reservoirs.
