An integrated 6.2.9.5 GHz UWB receiver for both WiMedia MB-OFDM and China UWB standard is proposed. The receiver can cover Group#3, Group#4 for WiMedia and Group#2.5 for China UWB standard respectively. The fully differential receiver consists of a wideband LNA and a down conversion mixer with high gain and low gain mode. A low-pass filter with controllable gain and cut-o? frequency along with a programmable gain amplifier are also included. The chip was fabricated in TSMC 0.13-μm RF CMOS process. Measurement results show that the receiver achieves voltage gain from 2. to 69 dB with 2.dB/step and an NF of 3.2.4.6 dB over 6.2.9.5 GHz and 1-dB compression point of ?2. dBm. The intermediate frequency of the receiver can be switched between 2.4 and 132.MHz, which enables the receiver applicable for both WiMedia and China UWB standard. Power consumption is only 47 mA with 1.2.V supply voltage.

This study used the sequence of the mitochondrial Cytochrome b(Cytb)to estimate phylogenetic relationships among host Hepialidae insects of Cordyceps *** DNA of host insect was extracted from the dead larva head part of 18 cordyceps populations and 2.species of Hepialus,and the Cytb fragment of host insect was amplified with PCR *** nucleotide sequence alignments and their homologous sequences of 2. species host Hepialidae insects of Cordyceps sinensis were obtained from GenBank and were used to construct phylogenetic trees based on neighbor-joining *** results showed that genus Bipectilus diverged earlier than genus Hepialus and *** host insects of Cordyceps sinensis have multitudinous species with different morphological characteristics and geographical *** interspecific genetic differentiations are obvious in ***,the genus Hepialus might be considered as polyphyletic *** sequences have abundant variations among the host insects of Cordyceps sinensis on spe- cific and generic *** divergence rate of Cytb sequences among the species in Hepialus ranged from 0.2.% to 9.2.%,except that Hepialus pratensis and Hepialus jinshaensis have the same *** sequence can be used for species identification of host insects of Cordyceps sinensis,but further confirmation in more host insect species is *** obtain the Cytb sequence of host insect by ampli- fying DNA extracted from the head part of dead larva in cordyceps turns out to be an effective and accurate approach,which will be useful for studies on phylogeny and genetic structure of host insects of cordyceps populations,especially for analyzing relationships between C. sinensis and its host insects.

Perfluorosulfonic acid/Polysulfone(PFSA/PSf) hollow fiber composite membranes have been prepared by dip-coating method using PSf ultrafiltration(UF) membrane as substrate with recovered *** composite membranes were applied to the pervaporation separation of 95% ethanol(EtOH)/H2. *** images show that the thickness of the PFSA skin layer of the composite membranes is about 2.μm,much thinner than those of other PFSA composite membranes revealed in the *** of annealing temperature,coating solution concentration and counter-ions of PFSA on the pervaporation performances of the composite membranes were *** total flux decreases and separation factor increases with the increase of annealing *** highest permeation flux of 32.0 g m-2.h-1 and a separation factor of 5.4 is obtained for the composite membrane annealed at 80°*** lowest permeation flux of 396 g m-2.h-1 and a separation factor of 2..7 is obtained for the composite membrane annealed at 160°*** permeation performances of the PFSA/PSf composite membrane are evidently influenced by the counter-ions of *** flux sequence of the PFSA/PSf composite membranes with different counter-ions is H+>Li+>Ca2.>Mg2.>Na+>K+>Ba2.>Fe3+>Al3+,and the separation factor sequence is H+2.2.2.Na+>K+.There are very little variations of △Eapp values between the composite membranes with three divalent counterions(Mg2.,Ca2. and Ba2.),and the △Eapp values of the composite membranes with two trivalent counterions(Fe3+ and Al3+) are relatively high.

The earliest Chinese ancient glasses before the West Han Dynasty (2.0 BC) from different regions are studied. The glass samples were unearthed from Hunan, Hubei, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangdong and Xinjiang of China. The chemical composition of these glasses samples is analyzed by proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE) technique, energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) method and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). It is shown that the glass chemical compositions belong to barium-lead silicate BaO-PbO-SiO2. potash soda lime silicate K2. (Na2.)-CaO-SiO2.(K2./Na2.>1), soda potash lime silicate Na2. (K2.)-CaO-SiO2.(K2./Na2.2.-SiO2.glass systems, respectively. The origins of the earliest Chinese ancient glasses are discussed from the archaeological and historical points of view. These four types of Chinese ancient glasses were all made in Chinese territory using local raw materials. The glass preparation technology was related to the Chinese ancient bronze metallurgy and protoporcelain glaze technology. The glass technology relationship between the East and the West is analyzed at the same time.

Glycomics comparison was carried out by screening melanoma serum biomarkers between C57 mice with and without B16 implanted. O-glycans were released from 10 μL sera by β-elimination, purified by Graphitized Carbon Cartridge Solid Phase Extraction (GCC-SPE) and analyzed by MALDI-QIT-TOF-MS. MS raw data were acquired and exported by Launchpad software. MATLAB was then applied for further data analysis. 10 Glycans were considered to have stable changes after B16 implantation and 5 of them were under structural analysis via MS/MS.

A novel type of microcavity organic light-emitting diode based on a porous silicon distributed Bragg reflector (PS-DBR) has first been achieved and its microstructure, optical, and electrical properties have also been investigated in detail. The microcavity is made up of the central active organic multilayer sandwiched between a top silver film and a bottom PS-DBR, formed by electrochemical etching of p++-Si substrate. The field- emission scanning electron microscopy cross-section images show the nanometer-scale layered structure and flat interfaces inside the microcavity. The reflectivity (relative to an Al mirror) of the PS-DBR is up to 99%, and the stopband is about 160 nm wide. Resonant cavity mode appears as a tip in the reflectivity spectrum of the Si-based organic multilayer films, which is a symbol that the Si-based organic multilayer structure is indeed a microcavity. The peak widths of the electroluminescence (EL) spectra from the cavities emitting green and red light are greatly reduced from 85 nm and 70 nm to 8 nm and 12.nm, respectively, as compared with those measured from non-cavity structures. Note that the EL emission from the cavity devices is single-mode, and the off-resonant optical modes are highly suppressed. Moreover, increases of a factor of about 6 and 4 of the resonant peak intensity from the cavities emitting green and red light are also observed, respectively. In addition, the current-brightness-voltage characteristics and effect parameters on the lifetime of the cavity devices are also discussed. The present technique for obtaining enhanced EL emission from Si-based organic microcavity may also be another novel effective method for realizing Si-based optoelectronics device integration.

This paper investigates the visual servoing robust stabilization of nonholonomic mobile robots. The calibration of visual parameters is not only complicated, but also needs great consumption of calculated time so that the accurate calibration is impossible in some situations for high requirement of real timing. Hence, it is interesting and important to consider the design of stabilizing controllers for nonholonomic kinematic systems with uncalibrated visual parameters. A novel uncertain model of these nonholonomic kinematic systems is proposed. Based on this model, a stabilizing controller is discussed by using dynamic feedback and two-step techniques. The proposed robust controller makes the mobile robot image pose and the orientation converge to the desired configuration despite the lack of depth information and the lack of precise visual parameters. The stability of the closed loop system is rigorously proved. The simulation is given to show the effectiveness of the presented controllers.
