Effects of annealing on structural, optical and electrical properties of Al-doped ZnO thin films

In this paper, the structural, electrical and optical properties of Al-doped zinc oxide (ZnO: Al) thin films onto quartz substrates prepared by electron beam evaporation technique were studied. All samples are polycrystal with a hexagonal structure andc-axis preferred orientation. The intense UV emissions and weak deep-level green emissions were observed. The films show high transparency, conductivity and high carrier concentration. Van der Pauw measurements show that the films are n-type degenerate semiconductor. The lowest resistivity is 6.7×10?4 Ω⊙cm at room temperature. These films exhibit a carrier density above 102. cm?3. The conduction mechanism was discussed. The behavior of metallic conduction can be observed in the high temperature range.

By employing the QCD factorization approach for the exclusive B→Vγ decays, we study the exclusive decay B→K~*γ in the top-quark two-Higgs-doublet model (T2.DM). Within the considered parameter space, we find the following conclusions (a) A light charged-Higgs boson with a mass about 2.0 GeV is clearly excluded by the date of B→K~*γ decay, and this lower limit is comparable with that from the inclusive B→Xγ decay; (b) The theoretical predictions for CP asymmetry of B→K~*γ in the T2.DM is always less than 1% in size; and (c) The isospin symmetry breaking for B→K~*γ decay in the SM and T2.DM considered here is around 6% in size and well consistent with the data and the general expectations.

By use of optical spectrum technology, the spectra of X-ray induced by highly charged 40Arq+ ions interacting with Au surface have been studied. The results show that the argon Kα X-ray were emitted from the hollow atoms formed below the surface. There is a process of multi-electron exciting in neutralization of the Ar16+ion, with electronic con-figuration 1s2.in its ground state below the solid surface. The yield of the projectile Kα X-ray is related to its initial electronic configuration, and the yield of the target X-ray is related to the projectile kinetic energy.

In this paper, we study the upper bounds on the mass insertion parameters (δ~q)in the minimal supersymmetric standard model. We found that the information from the measured branching ratio of B→Xl+l~-decaycan help us to improve the upper bounds on the mass insertions parameters(δ. Some regions allowed by thedata of Br(B→Xγ)are excluded by the requirement of an SM-like C(m)imposed by the data of Br(B→Xl+l~-).

The parameters of the sdg interacting boson model Hamiltonian are calculated for the 104-110*** calculations utilize the microscopic procedure based on the Dyson boson mapping proposedby Yang-Liu-Qi and extended to include the g boson *** calculated parameters reproduce thosevalues from the phenomenological *** resulting spectra are compared with the experimental spectra.

A sample consisting of 2.1 narrow line Seyfert 1 galaxies (NLS1s) with high quality spectra from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) is selected to explore where broad line regions are in these objects. We find that the Hβ profile can be fitted well by three (narrow, intermediate and broad) Gaussian components, and the FWHM ratios of the broad to the intermediate components hold a constant of 3.0 roughly for the entire sample. If the broad components originate from the region scaled by the well-determined Hβ reverberation mapping relation, we find that the intermediate components originate from the inner edge of the torus, which is scaled by dust K-band reverberation. We find that the IC and the BC are strongly linked dynamically, but the relation of their covering factors is much more relaxed, implying that both regions are clumpy.

From the shell model configurations, valence nucleon effective interactions and fermion E2.transition operator, the sdgIBM-1 Hamiltonian and boson E2.transition operator are derived micoscopically with the help of Dyson boson expansion technique. Spectra and reduced E2.matriX elements are calculated for the 192.190,188Os isotopes. Present theoritical results fit experimental data quite well.
