Resolution method for overlapping peaks based on the fractional-order differential

Equations between the differential order and the maximum of the fractional-order differential for the specified peak signals are developed based on the variation of the maximum of the specified peak signals at different orders. Also, equations between the differential order and the zero-crossing of the fractional-order differential of the specified peak signals are proposed according to the variation of the zero-crossing of the specified peak signals at different orders. Characteristic paramters of the Gaus- sian peak, Lorentzian peak, and Tsallis peak can be estimated using estimator I and estimator II which are obtained by the equations above. As a result, a new method is presented to resolve the overlapped peaks signal. Firstly, a fractional-order differential of the specified peak signals is obtained with the fractional-order differentiation filter. Then, characteristic paramters of the specified peak signals can be extracted using estimator I and estimator II. Finally, the Tsallis peak is used as a model to assign the overlapping peak signals correctly. Experimental results show that the proposed method is efficient and effective for the simulated overlapping peaks and detected overlapping voltammetric peak signals.

In order to deal with the performance degradation resulting from the quantization error,this paper introduces the statistics of Grassmannian codebook's quantization error into relay precoding design for multirelay *** on the two-step MMSE optimization algorithm for relay precoding and receiver equalizing with full feedback under QoS requirements,we first propose a limited feedback two-step MMSE optimization scheme for relay precoding and receiver equalizing with quantization error compensation,and then we propose a limited feedback joint MMSE optimization scheme for relay precoding and receiver equalizing with quantization error compensation subject to a global power constraint at the output of *** results show that the proposed joint MMSE optimization scheme with quantization error compensation has a much lower bit-error rate than the two-step MMSE optimization scheme with quantization error compensation and the joint MMSE optimization scheme without quantization error compensation.

A new result on the nonexistence of generalized bent functions is presented by using properties of the decomposition law of primes in cyclotomic fields and properties of solutions of some Diophantine equations. At the same time,a method is given which can be used to simplify the known results. Then we give the bounds and the meaning in algebraic number theory of the parameters in our results.

The controller design for a near-space hypersonic vehicle (NHV) is challenging due to its plant uncertainties and sensitivity to atmospheric disturbances such as gusts and turbulence. This paper first derives 12.states equations of NHVs subjected to variable wind field, and presents a novel recurrent neural network (RNN) control method for restraining atmospheric disturbances. The method devises a new B-spline recurrent functional link network (BRFLN) and combines it with the nonlinear generalized predictive control (NGPC) algorithm. Moreover, the proportional-derivative (PD) correction BRFLN is proposed to approximate atmo- spheric disturbances in flight. The weights of BRFLN are online tuned by the adaptive law based on Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, simulation results show a satisfactory performance for the attitude tracking of the NHV in the mesosphere, and also illustrate the controller's robustness to wind turbulence.

In order to know the maximum mining ground deformation of arbitrary surface point, directions of the maximum surface tilt, curvature,horizontal displacement and horizontal deformation caused by multi-working faces were deduced based on probability integral method. The distribution forms of surface deformations in all direction φ∈[0, 2.] were obtained and also equations of maximum deformations were given based on calculation of mining ground deformation in direction φ. A mining subsidence analysis system was developed with VB6.0. The system implements the probability integral mining subsidence prediction with direct integration method, and it can avoid errors of arbitrary shaped working face subdivision of traditional method, and accuracy of mining subsidence prediction can be improved with the direct integral method. The system implements the contour chart and profile chart and also data analysis automation by manipulation of the SURFER kernel function and it complements the defect of existing subsidence prediction software. Calculation of maximum deformations caused by multi-working faces mining in a coal mine of Xuzhou, China was shown as application example. engineering application indicates that maximum deformation of mining ground surface can be calculated and analyzed by the system. The research provides a theoretical basis and calculation tool for mining subsidence prediction and analysis.

Traditional methods for nonlinear dy-namic analysis,such as correlation dimension,Lyapunov exponent,approximate entropy,detrended fluctuation analysis,using a single parameter,cannot fully describe the extremely sophisticated behavior of electroencephalogram (EEG). The multifractal for-malism reveals more “hidden” information of EEG by using singularity spectrum to characterize its nonlin-ear dynamics. In this paper,the zero-crossing time intervals of sleep EEG were studied using multifractal analysis. A new multifractal measure Δasα was pro-posed to describe the asymmetry of singularity spec-trum,and compared with the singularity strength range Δα that was normally used as a degree indi-cator of multifractality. One-way analysis of variance and multiple comparison tests showed that the new measure we proposed gave better discrimination of sleep stages,especially in the discrimination be-tween sleep and awake,and between sleep stages 3 and 4.

Suitability evaluation plays an important role in land reclamation because the choice of evaluation methods affects the accuracy and objectivity of the suitability evaluation results. Furthermore, it influences the decision-making related to land reclamation. An improved method, which is called limit comprehensive conditions method, was developed after different suitability evaluation methods were studied. Based on this method, the reclaimed land of the Gaoqiao bauxite mining area was evaluated. The Gaoqiao mining area was divided into seven evaluation units that were evaluated respectively by selecting evaluation factors and establishing grade standards. The results show that the proposed method is more applicable and easier to handle. Moreover, its evaluation results are more scientific compared with the traditional evaluation methods. The improved method can be beneficial to the rapid monitoring and the effective management of reclaimed land in the opencast mine area.

The sufficient and necessary conditions for Lyapunov stability of the zero equilibrium point of Lorenz system are discussed, and some brief criteria are presented for globally exponential stability, globally asymptotical stability and instability. Furthermore, the behavior of the non-zero equilibrium point of Lorenz system is also investigated, and several sufficient and necessary conditions are provided for locally exponential stability and instability. The established theorems in this paper develop and extend the existing achievements on Lyapunov stability of Lorenz system. In conclusion, by applying the obtained results, some less conservative feedback-control laws are derived to guarantee the globally exponential stability of the chaos control of Chen system, Lu¨ system, Yang-Chen system and Yu-Xia Li system.

Extraction of vegetation fraction information from CBERS images based on VBSI vegetation index in Kaixian county

Based on the mixed pixel model, the vegetation fraction of Kaixian county, China, was extracted with three free CBERS images. VBSI vegetation index suitable for CBERS images constructed with FCD (forest canopy density) model principle was put forward by ITTO (International Tropical Timber Organization) was used, considering the underestimation of vegetation fraction using NDVI in low mountain-hill region influenced by soils and shadows. And vegetation fraction was divided into five categories from low to high in order to study the special variation of vegetation cover. The results show that the vegetation cover of the region is overall good, with an average of 50%. The area of vegetation fraction below 30% accounts for 11.7% of the entire studied area, mainly concentrates in central eastern Kaixian county, where is the major development zone of cities and towns; that between 30% and 60% accounts for 62.; and that higher than 60% accounts for 2.%, and mostly locates in northern middle-mountain area.
