A prediction control algorithm is presented based on least squares support vector machines (LS-SVM) model for a class of complex systems with strong nonlinearity. The nonlinear off-line model of the controlled plant is built by LS-SVM with radial basis function (RBF) kernel. In the process of system running, the off-line model is linearized at each sampling instant, and the generalized prediction control (GPC) algorithm is employed to implement the prediction control for the controlled *** obtained algorithm is applied to a boiler temperature control system with complicated nonlinearity and large time *** results of the experiment verify the effectiveness and merit of the algorithm.

For the multisensor system with correlated noises and unknown noise statistics,the measurement function can be dealt with in a unified way to form a new tracking system by least square *** result of the measurements can make some groups of steady random sequence,and the variances Rii and covariance Rij of these measurements can be yielded by the matrix equations of the correlation function,and then the estimates of Qw T can be *** the self-tuning weighted measurement fusion Kalman filter is obtained.A simulation example for a tracking system with 3 sensors shows its fast convergence and exactness.

基于奇异摄动方法,在将参数不确定双臂柔性机械手分解为慢变和快变两个子系统基础上,提出一种复合控制方法,以实现关节轨迹跟踪控制,抑制弹性振动。针对慢变子系统,提出一种模糊非奇异终端滑模控制方法,保证系统的全局稳定性,提高系统的跟踪速度和精度,同时消除滑模控制的抖振现象。针对快变子系统,提出一种基于观测器的LQR控制方法,估计系统不可测状态,压制柔性振动。仿真结果证明所提方法的有效性。

This paper studies the problem of stabilization of discrete-time linear systems with input time-delay and actuator *** exploring some further intricate properties of a recently developed parametric Lyapunov equation based low gain feedback design approach,an alternative approach is proposed to solving the problem by both state feedback and output *** new approach is not only simpler than the methods that are based on the eigenstructure assignment technique,but also provides explicit conditions on value of the low gain parameter to guarantee the stability of the closed-loop ***,the delay in the input is allowed to be time-varying in some cases.

Anthropogenic activities have become more and more important in characterizing the landscape, but their impacts are still restricted by natural environments. This paper discusses the interactions of anthropogenic activity, vegetation activity and topography through describing the spatial distribution of land cover and vegetation activity (represented by Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, NDVI) along topographic gradient in a mountainous area of southwestern china. Our results indicate that the existing landscape pattern is controlled by anthropogenic activities as well as topographic factors. Intensive anthropogenic activities mainly occur in areas with relatively low elevation, gentle and concave slopes, as these areas are easy and convenient to attain for human. Because of the destruction by human, some land cover types (mainly grassland and shrub) are only found in relatively harsher environments. This study also finds that topographic wetness index (W) used in other places only reflects runoff generation capacity, but not indicate the real spatial pattern of soil water content in this area. The relationships between NDVI and W, and NDVI and length slope factor (LSF) show that runoff and erosion have complex effects on vegetation activity. Greater values of W and LSF will lead to stronger capacity to produce runoff and transport sediment, and thereby increase soil water content and soil deposition, whereas beyond a certain threshold runoff and erosion are so strong that they would destruct vegetation growth. This study provides information needed to successfully restore native vegetation, improve land management, and promote sustainable development in mountainous areas, especially for developing regions.

This paper presents a kind of controller design method for a class of networked control systems（NCSs）with multiple packet dropouts,where the number of consecutive packet dropouts is limited by a known upper bound.A novel model that can be used to describe multiple packet dropouts in both sensor-to-controller and controller-to-actuator sides is provided.A sufficient condition for mean-square asymptotic stability is derived for the closed-loop networked control system,which is dependent on the upper bound of the packet dropouts *** corresponding state feedback control law is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）.A networked control system for an inverted pendulum is finally provided to show the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method.

＜正＞The complex principles of induction motor often bring difficulties to electrical driven system. Due to its nonlinearity, strong coupling and uncertainties, the input and output characteristics are only considered in conventional applications. Thyristors still occupy part of the driven fields where precise speed regulation is not needed, and some solid state controllers have been put into practice. However, from the view point of the system, the performance analysis and modeling of thyristor driven induction motor system still completely depend on circuit calculation. This paper has proposed a method of combining circuit calculation with RBF neural network approximating, and has designed a controller with NN. Comparison of simulation results, actual waveform and experiment data, the validity of the design has been verified. It has provided theoretic support to conventional applications.

The existing low gain feedback, which is a parameterized family of stabilizing state feedback gains whose magnitudes approach zero as the parameter decreases to zero, has been designed in very specific ways. In this paper, by recognizing the l∞ and l 2 slow peaking phenomenon that exists in discrete-time systems under low gain feedback, more general notions of l∞ and l 2 norm vanishment are considered so as to provide a full characterization of the nonexistence of slow peaking phenomenon in some measured signals. Low gain feedback that does not lead to l∞ and l 2 slow peaking in the control input are respectively referred to as l∞ and l 2 low gain feedback. Based on the notions of l∞ and l 2 vanishment, not only can the existing low gain feedback been recognized as an l∞ low gain feedback, but also a new design approach referred to as the l 2 low gain feedback approach is developed for discrete-time linear systems. Parallel to the effectiveness of l∞ low gain feedback in magnitude constrained control, the l 2 low gain feedback is instrumental in the control of discrete-time systems with control energy constraints. The notions of l∞ and l 2 -vanishment also result in a systematic approach to the design of l∞ and l 2 low gain feedback by providing a family of solutions including those resulting from the existing design methods.
