BACKGROUND: Cerebral arterial stenosis can cause cerebral hypoperfusion, and than result in the decline of cognitive function, whereas the cognitive dysfunction induced by different cerebral arterial stenosis have different manifestations and types. OBJECTIVE: To observe the differences of cognitive and memory dysfunctions in patients with cerebral arterial stenosis of different types. DESIGN: A comparative observation. SETTING: Affiliated Hospital of Jining medical college. PARTICIPANTS: Forty-two outpatients or inpatients with cerebral arterial stenosis were selected from the {2. of Neurology, Affiliated Hospital of Jining medical college from February 2.05 to January 2.06, including 2. males and 17 females. There were 18 cases of internal carotid arterial stenosis, 14 cases of vertebrobasilar arterial stenosis and 10 cases of whole cerebral arterial stenosis. The diagnostic standards for cerebral arterial stenosis were identified according to North American Symptomatic Carotid Endarterectomy Trial (NASCET). Meanwhile, 18 healthy physical examinees were enrolled as the control group, including 10 males and 8 females, aged 58-80 years old. All the enrolled subjects were informed and agreed with the detection and evaluation. METHODS: ① The memory function was evaluated using revised Wechsler memory scale for adults, including long-term memory (experience, orientation and counting), short-term memory (visual recognition, picture memory, visual regeneration, association and thigmesthesia) and sensory memory (forward and backward recitation of numbers). The scale scores were turned to memory quotients. The higher the scores, the better the memory function. ② The cognitive function was evaluated using revised Wechsler adult intelligence scale: It consisted of eleven subtests, including six language scales (information, digit span, vocabulary, arithmetics, apprehension, similarity) and five operation scales (picture completion, picture arrangement, block design, g

A near generalized balanced tournament design, or an NGBTD(k,m) in short, is a (km+1,k,k-1)-BIBD defined on a (km+1)-set V . Its blocks can be arranged into an m×(km+1) array in such a way that (1) the blocks in every column of the array form a partial parallel class partitioning V\{x} for some point x, and (2. every element of V is contained in precise k cells of each row. In this paper, we completely solve the existence of NGBTD(4,m) and almost completely solve the existence of NGBTD(5,m) with four exceptions.

Let （L, 〈, V, A） be a complete Heyting algebra. In this article, the linear system Ax = b over a complete Heyting algebra, where classical addition and multiplication operations are replaced by V and A respectively, is studied. We obtain：（i） the necessary and sufficient conditions for S（A,b）≠Ф; （ii） the necessary conditions for IS（A,b）｜ = 1. We also obtain the vector x ∈ Ln and prove that it is the largest element of S（A, b） if S（A, b）≠Ф.

Multiwavelet sampling theorem in Sobolev spaces

This paper is to establish the multiwavelet sampling theorem in Sobolev spaces. Sampling theorem plays a very important role in digital signal communication. The most classical sampling theorem is Shannon sampling theorem, which works for bandlimited signals. Recently, sampling theorems in wavelets or multiwavelets subspaces are extensively studied in the literature. In this paper, we firstly propose the concept of dual multiwavelet frames in dual Sobolev spaces (H s (R) , H-s (R)). Then we construct a special class of dual multiwavelet frames, from which the multiwavelet sampling theorem in Sobolev spaces is obtained. That is, for any f ∈ H s (R) with s > 1/2. it can be exactly recovered by its samples. Especially, the sampling theorem works for continuous signals in L 2.(R), whose Sobolev exponents are greater than 1 /2.

To clarify whether apoptosis is involved in the injury processes induced by autoantibodyagainst cardiac β1-adrenoceptor,we investigated the biological and apoptotic effects of antibodies on culturedneonatal rat *** rats were immunized with peptides corresponding to the second extra-cellular loop of the β1-adrenoceptor to induce the production of anti-β1-adrenoceptor antibodies in the ***（Ig）G in the sera was detected using synthetic antigen enzyme-linked immunosorbentassay and purified using the diethylaminoethyl cellulose ion exchange *** of cardiomyo-cytes was evaluated using agarose gel electrophoresis and flow *** results showed that thepositive serum IgG greatly increased the beating rates of cardiomyocytes and showed an"agonist-like"***,positive serum IgG induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis after treatment with β1-adrenoceptor overstimulation for *** effects of monoclonal antibody against β-adrenoceptor werealso found to be similar to those of positive serum *** was suggested that the autoantibody could inducecardiomyocyte apoptosis by excessive stimulation of β1-adrenoceptor.

An entanglement measure for multipartite pure states is formulated using the product of the von Neumann entropy of the reduced density matrices of the constituents. Based on this new measure, all possible ways of the maximal entanglement of the triqubit pure states are studied in detail and all types of the maximal entanglement have been compared with the result of ‘the average entropy’. The new measure can be used to calculate the degree of entanglement, and an improvement is given in the area near the zero entropy.

Development of simple sequence repeats (SSR) markers of ramie and comparison of SSR and inter-SSR marker systems

Ramie (Boehmeria nivea L.) is an important bast fiber crop. To study genetic background of this species, we isolated and characterized microsatellite markers of ramie. A genomic library containing inserts of rapid amplification of polymorphic DNA (RAPD) fragments was constructed, and screened by PCR amplification using anchored simple sequence repeats as primers. A total of 2. clones were identified as positives, and 13 microsatellite loci were found after sequencing. The polymorphism of these 13 microsatellite loci was examined and the utility of simple sequence repeats (SSR) and inter-SSR (ISSR) marker systems for genetic characterization compared using 19 selected ramie cultivars. Both approaches successfully discriminated the 19 cultivars which differed in the amount of polymorphism detected. The level of polymorphism detected by SSR was 95.0%, higher than that by ISSR (72.3%), but the average polymorphism information content (PIC) of ISSR (0.651) was higher than that of SSR (0.441). The higher PIC value of ISSR suggests that ISSR is more efficient for fingerprinting ramie cultivars than SSR markers. However, because the SSR loci are codominant, they are more suitable for determining the homozygosity levels of ramie, constructing linkage map, quantitative trait loci study of complex traits and marker-assisted selection.
