This paper summarizes the mechanism and routes for excitation of triplet emitters in dopant emission based phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (PhOLEDs),providing a comprehensive overview of recent progress in molecular hosts for triplet emitters in ***,based on the nature of different hosts,e.g.,hole transporting,electron transporting or bipolar materials,in which the dopant emitters can be hosted to generate phosphorescence,the respective device performances are summarized and *** are given to the relationships among the molecular structure,thermal stability,triplet energy,carrier mobility,molecular orbital energy level and their corresponding device performances.

In 1979, the mechanism of chemical carcinogenesis, a challenging anddifficult scientific problem pending for a number of years, was explained by Dai Qianhuan. Themechanism named di-region theory predicted that a carcinogen always metabolizes to form a specialbi-functional alky-lating agent. This agent induces cross-linkages between the complementary basepairs in DMA and switches on initial mutageneses in genomes including point and frameshiftmutations. This, in turn, induces further deep mutageneses including the production of variouschimeric chromosomes, deletions and other aberrations found in genomes. In the end this initiatescarcinogenesis of the whole cell through the reverse transcription mechanism after a lengthyincubation period. Recently, this laboratory has verified that physical carcinogenesis, includingthe oncogenesis induced by radiation and asbestos as well as the carcinogenesis induced byendogenous factors such as estrogen or diethyl-stilbestrol switch on carcinogenesis by inducing theformation of cross-linkages between the complementary base pairs in DNA. Di-region theory has nowbeen supported by many experimental observations such as mutational spectra of various *** potential for carcinogenesis, teratogenesis, sterility and mutagenesis lumped together asgenetic toxicity appears to originate almost uniformly from the cross-linking between complementarybases, i.e. malignant cross-linking, which is in accordance with di-region theory. Other forms ofcross-linking between non-complementary bases, benign cross-linkings, show bi-functional alkylationanticancer activity but lack genetic toxicity. The predictable design and synthesis of a highselectivity anticancer agent with high efficacy and low genetic toxicity, a goal long pursued incancer chemotherapy, have been realized for the first time in this laboratory by inhibitingmalignant and heightening benign cross-linking using the principles of di-region theory. Anabarites belong to small shelly fossils (SSF), which occur widely in the Lower Cambrian strata of Yangtze Platform in South china. They are phosphate shell in composition and represent the earliest stage of the Cambrian bioradiation of Bilateria, the so-called "Cambrian Explosion". In this study, we attempted to separate Anabarites fossils from Lower Cambrian dolostones, and we obtained samples of both the fossils (SSF) and the granular phosphates (GP). Isotopic analyses were performed on samples of SSF, GP, and matrix dolostone (DH-2.). The results showed that the δ30Si values of the quartz filling in fossils celoms, and the siliceous materials in granular phosphates are -0.6‰ and -0.7‰, which is different from normal sedimentary siliceous rocks from the Lower Cambrian strata (0—0.7‰) as reported by Li et al., but is consistent with the data for siliceous rocks and cherts of submarine hydrothermal origin. It is likely that a later hydrothermal replacement could have taken place in the SSF-bearing sedimentary rocks. The oxygen isotope values of the phosphate of SSF and GP are 16.8‰ and 17.0‰, respectively. These are significantly higher than the Neoproterozoic phosphate ores (10.9‰—13.9‰) as reported by Ling et al., hence, late diagenesis and hydrothermal replacement may not have caused a significant change in the oxygen isotope compositions of the small shelly fossils, and the calculated temperatures (2..4—2..3℃) for palaeo-seawater using a SSF phosphate oxygen isotope thermometer are therefore considered here as the upper limit of seawater temperature in the Early Cambrian ocean of the Yangtze Platform.

Temporal mode direct numerical simulation (DNS) has been done for a supersonic turbulent boundary layer on a flat plate with Mach number 4.5. It was found that the mean flow profile, the normal-wise distribution of turbulent Mach number and the root mean square (RMS) of the fluctuations of various variables, as well as the Reynolds stresses, bore similarity in nature, when the turbulence reached a fully developed state. But the compressibility effect was strong and must be considered. The strong Reynolds analogy (SRA) and the Morkovin hypothesis were no longer valid. From the end of transition to the fully developed state of turbulence, it was in the transient period, for which the similarity did not hold.

With the rapid development of wireless communication networks, the fourth generation (4G) has emerged to move beyond the limitations of the third generation (3G), with increased bandwidth, enhanced quality of services, and reduced costs of resources. In this paper, we discuss the key technologies of 4G and focus on surveying the ongoing research in 4G communications in china. The 4G technologies under investigation include multicarrier transmission, multiple antenna techniques, carrier aggregation, relays, cognitive radio, distributed antenna systems, network convergence, and network self-optimization. These technologies are the building blocks of 4G and contribute largely to the requirements of International Mobile Telecommunications Advanced (IMT-Advanced). For each technology, its benefits, research topics, and some existing approaches are examined. Finally, we briefly discuss the challenges and future research issues in 4G systems.

The topological pressure for subadditive sequence of discontinuous functions is defined on any invariant subset having a nested family of subsets in the compact metric space. Two subadditive variational principles associated with two different relatively weak conditions are developed for the defined topological pressure. As an application, we give an example on systems with nonzero Lyapunov exponents.

This paper presents both analytical and numerical studies on the global view of Hopf bifurcations of a van der Pol oscillator with delayed state *** on a detailed analysis of the stability switches of the trivial equilibrium of the system,the stability charts are given in a parameter space consisting of the time delay and the feedback *** center manifold reduc-tion and the normal form method are used to study Hopf bifurcations with respect to the time *** gain an insight into the persistence of a Hopf bifurcation as the time delay varies farther away from its critical value,the method of multiple scales is used to obtain the global view of Hopf bifurcations with respect to the time *** the analytical results of Hopf bifurca-tions and global view of those bifurcations are validated via a collocation scheme implemented on *** most important discovery in this paper is the well-structured global view of Hopf bifurcations for the system of concern,showing the generality of the persistence of Hopf bifurcations.

INTRODUCTIONThe main component of a traditional Chinese drug 'Pishuang'. arsenic trioxide (As2.3), has obviously selective anti-tumor effect on human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)in both in vitro and in vivo studies[1-5]. Due to limited effectiveness when any anti-carcinogen is used alone and obviously increased toxicity when the dose is raised, there is no exception for As2.3. Furthermore, combined chemotherapy contributes to improve therapeutic effectiveness, disperse toxicity and surmount drug-resistance,in which the combination of traditional Chinese and modern medicine has more advantages and characteristics. As a result,we made an experimental study on anti-tumor effect of As2.3in combination with cisplantin (PDD) or doxorubicin (ADM)on HCC. to investigate the possibility of AS2.3 in combination with PDD or ADM and nature of interaction between them,and to provide experimental basis for clinical application.
