The effectiveness of capsulotomy with Nd:YAG laser and with bent needle were compared in 50 patients(66 eyes) with congenital cataract. There were 2. patients(32.eyes) in the laser group and 2. patients(34 eyes) in the needle group. In this article, we prove that any complete finite index hypersurface in the hyperbolic space H4（-1）（H5（-1）） with constant mean curvature H satisfying H2.6634 （H2.114785 respectively） must be compact. Specially, we verify that any complete and stable hypersurface in the hyperbolic space H4（-1）（resp. H5（-1）） with constant mean curvature H satisfying H2.6643 （resp. H2.114785 ） must be compact. It shows that there is no manifold satisfying the conditions of some theorems in [7, 9].

With regard to the failure and cancellation of business logic of web services composition(WSC),this paper propose a novel web services transaction compensation mechanism based on paired net which can dynamically establish agile compensation-triggered process(CSCP-Nets),and satisfy prospective compensation *** related execution semantics of five usual composition compensation patterns based on paired net are analyzed in the situations of successful execution,failure compensation and failure *** net based application of trip reservation process(TRP) shows that it is feasible.

china, a country with about one fifth of the world' s population, has been gaining a rapideconomic growth since 1980s. This country has around 5 million blind people, accountingfor 18% of the blind in the world. The major causes of blindness include cataract,corneal diseases, trachoma, glaucoma, vitreoretinopathy and a number of factorscontributing to blindness in children. The principal cause of blindness in china was nolonger trachoma but cataracts. Vitamin A deficiency remains a public health problem inthe under-developed ***-related conditions in china, such as vision loss due tocataract and retinal disorders, will increase accordingly if no preventive meaunes aretaken. Glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy appear to be predominant induction of thedevastating blind. In this fast developing country blindness is not only a medical orhealth, but also a social problem. Developed strategies have been adopted simultaneouslyby national efforts under the leadership of the government, international agencies,nongovernmental organizations, as well as private sectors in their every-day work toprevent and treat blindness.

Thirty patients with Vogt-Koyanagi-Haradas disease were typed for HLA-A and HLA-B antigenic determinants by a microlymphocytotoxicity technique. HLA-B2. antigen showed an increased frequency of 43.3% in the patient group(relative risk=8.69; exact P2.) compared with normal control group(frequency=7.69%). This association suggests that immunogenetic factor may play an important role in the pathogenesis of Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada's disease.

PURPOSE: To investigate the expression status of p53, Fas and bcl-2.in the development of retinal degeneration in C3H, rd and rds mice. METHODS: Expression of p53, Fas and bcl-2.in the retina of rd, rds and C3H mice as well as in normal C3B mice in different periods was examined by immunohistochemical technique. RESULTS: The expression of Fas and p53 was not detected in normal C3B mice. Fas and p53 were expressed in the ganglionic layer in the early stage and then in the inner nuclear layer, while the scale and intense increased in the ganglionic layer. There is no difference of bcl-2.expression between the normal mice and mice with retinal degeneration. CONCLUSION: Fas and p53 may be involved in the retinal cell death in rd, rds, and C3B, but bcl-2.may not. It is unknown why p53 and Fas appeared first in ganglion layer but not in the outer nuclear layer where retinal cells death was noticed in early stage.

The purpose of the present study was to determine the best cholinergic neuronal differentiation method of rhesus monkey bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs).Four methods were used to induce differentiation,and the groups were assigned accordingly:basal inducing group(culture media,bFGF,and forskolin);SHH inducing group(SHH,inducing group);RA inducing group(RA,basal inducing group);and SHH+RA inducing group(SHH,RA,and basal inducing group).All groups displayed neuronal morphology and increased expression of nestin and neuron-specific *** basal inducing group did not express synapsin,and cells from the SHH inducing group did not exhibit neuronal resting membrane *** contrast,results demonstrated that BMSCs from the RA and SHH+RA inducing groups exhibited neuronal resting membrane potential,and cells from the SHH+RA inducing group expressed higher levels of synapsin and *** conclusion,the induction of cholinergic differentiation through SHH+RA was determined to be superior to the other methods.

Q-switched Nd:YAG laser was used for the peripheral iridotomy in 68 cases(80 eyes) of primary angle closed glaucoma. The average number of laser shots is 2..5(1～12. shots), and the average shot energy is 2.5 mJ(0.9～5.6mJ). The successful rate of iris penetration is about 97.6%.
