Identified as the pathogenic genes of Alzheimer's disease(AD),APP,PSEN1,and PSEN2 mainly lead to early-onset AD,whose course is more aggressive,and atypical symptoms are more common than sporadic ***,a novel missense mutation,APP E674Q(also named“Shanghai APP”),was detected in a Chinese index patient with typical late-onset AD(LOAD)who developed memory decline in his *** results from neuroimaging were consistent with AD,where widespread amyloidβdeposition was demonstrated in 18 F-florbetapir Positron Emission Tomography(PET).APP E674Q is close to theβ-secretase cleavage site and the well-studied Swedish APP mutation(KM670/671NL),which was predicted to be pathogenic in *** dynamics simulation indicated that the E674Q mutation resulted in a rearrangement of the interaction mode between APP and BACE1 and that the E674Q mutation was more prone to cleavage by *** in vitro results suggested that the E674Q mutation was pathogenic by facilitating the BACE1-mediated processing of APP and the production of Aβ.Furthermore,we applied an adeno-associated virus(AAV)-mediated transfer of the human E674Q mutant APP gene to the hippocampi of two-month-old C57Bl/6 J ***-E674Q-injected mice exhibited impaired learning behavior and increased pathological burden in the brain,implying that the E674Q mutation had a pathogenicity that bore a comparison with the classical Swedish ***,we report a strong amyloidogenic effect of the E674Q substitution in *** our knowledge,E674Q is the only pathogenic mutation within the amyloid processing sequence causing LOAD.

Investigation of FRP and SFRC Technologies for Efficient Tunnel Reinforcement Using the Cohesive Zone Model

Future optical clock networks will require high-precision optical time-frequency transfer between satellites and ground ***,due to atmospheric turbulence,satellite motion and time delay between the satellite–ground transmission links will cause spatial and temporal variations,respectively,resulting in the breakdown of the time-of-flight reciprocity on which optical two-way time-frequency transfer is ***,we experimentally simulate the atmospheric effects by two-way spatio-temporally separated links between two stationary terminals located 113 km apart and measure the effects for optical two-way time-frequency *** experiment shows that the effect on the link instability is less than 2.3×10^(−19) at 10,000 *** indicates that when the link instability of satellite-ground optical time-frequency transfer is on the order of 10^(−19),it is not necessary to consider the atmospheric non-reciprocity effects.

Elongated antiferromagnetic skyrmion in two-dimensional RuF_(4)

Two-dimensional(2D)antiferromagnetic(AFM)skyrmions are free from stray magnetic field and skyrmion Hall effect,and can be driven by a small current density up to a high speed,desirable for low-power spintronic ***,most 2D AFM skyrmions are realized in complex heterostructured materials,which impedes the dense integration of spintronic ***,we propose that 2D AFM skyrmions can be achieved in ruthenium tetrafluoride(RuF_(4))monolayer using hybrid functional theory combined with atomistic spin dynamics *** study indicates that 2D RuF_(4)is dynamically stable and its nondegenerate vibration modes in optical branches are either Raman or infrared ***,2D RuF_(4)acts as an indirect bandgap semiconductor with an out-of-plane AFM ***,the presence of a weak Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in 2D RuF_(4)leads to a spin spiral ground state at low temperatures,enabling the formation of AFM skyrmions with possible length modulation by an external magnetic *** results give insight into 2D RuF_(4)and may provide an intriguing platform for 2D AFM skyrmion-based spintronic applications.

The Antarctic Ice Sheet（AIS） has been losing ice mass and contributing to global sea level rise（GSLR）. Given its mass that is enough to cause ～58 m of GSLR, accurate estimation of mass balance trend is critical for AIS mass loss monitoring and sea level rise forecasting. Here, we present an improved approach to reconciled solutions of mass balance in AIS and its regions from multiple contributing solutions using the input-out, altimetric, and gravimetric methods. In comparison to previous methods, such as IMBIE 2018, this approach utilizes an adaptive data aggregation window to handle the heterogeneity of the contributing solutions, including the number of solutions, temporal distributions, uncertainties, and estimation techniques. We improved the regression-based method by using a two-step procedure that establishes ensembled solutions within each method（input-output, altimetry, or gravimetry） and then estimates the method-independent reconciled solutions. For the first time, 16contributing solutions from 8 Chinese institutions are used to estimate the reconciled mass balance of AIS and its regions from1996 to 2021. Our results show that AIS has lost a total ice mass of ～3213±253 Gt during the period, an equivalent of～8.9±0.7 mm of GSLR. There is a sustained mass loss acceleration since 2006, from 88.1±3.6 Gt yr-1during 1996–2005 to 130.7 ±8.4 Gt yr-1during 2006–2013 and further to 157.0±9.0 Gt yr-1during 2014–2021. The mass loss signal in the West Antarctica and Antarctic Peninsula is dominant and clearly presented in the reconciled estimation and contributing solutions, regardless of estimation methods used and fluctuation of surface mass balance. Uncertainty and challenges remain in mass balance estimation in East Antarctica. This reconciled estimation approach can be extended and applied for improved mass balance estimation in the Greenland Ice Sheet and mountain glacier regions.

An integrated MINLP model for multi-party coordination in downstream oil supply chain

堆石料在周期性水位循环升降作用下会产生细粒流失现象,从而加剧堆石料的湿化变形。以某发生显著后期变形的心墙堆石坝的上游堆石料为研究对象,采用侧限压缩潜蚀试验装置,针对连续和间断两种颗粒级配的试样,对比开展了恒定水位和升降水位条件下的单轴固结湿化变形试验,得到了轴向应变和细粒流失量的发展过程。试验结果证实,周期性水位升降引起的细粒流失会促进湿化变形的发展,其影响程度与颗粒级配、竖向压力、水位升降速率及初始含水率有关。连续级配试样的内部稳定性优于间断级配试样,细粒流失量更少,因此提高堆石料级配的连续性会降低细粒流失对湿化变形的促进作用。增大竖向压力会提高堆石料内部颗粒间约束力,降低细粒流失量,从而降低细粒流失对湿化变形的促进作用。水位升降速率的提高会增大水对颗粒的渗透力,从而增大细粒流失量,加大湿化变形。增大初始含水率会提高堆石料的压实性,颗粒排列更紧密,细粒流失困难,降低了细粒流失对湿化变形的促进作用。
