The membranes of sulfonated poly(etheretherketone) with 65% sulfonation degree were prepared by doping of Y2O3 and ionic liquids,such as 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazole tetrafluoroborate(EB) or 1-butyl-3-methylimidazole methanesulfonate(BS),*** the properties,including conductivities,water uptake,thermal stability and mechanical properties,of pure SPEEK based proton exchange membrane and SPEEK based proton exchange membranes by doping of ionic liquids and Y2O3 have been studied in the present *** experimental results showed that the conductivity of membranes increased with the temperature increased from 30 to 90 1C,except for that of pure SPEEK membrane increased with increasing temperature from 30 to 70 1C and decreased with increasing temperature from 70 to 90 *** conductivities of SPEEK/EB/Y2O3 and SPEEK/BS/Y2O3 composite membranes at 90 1C were 9.04 10 2 S cm 1 and 1.18 10 1 S cm 1 at 100% relative humidity(RH) and 8.04 10 2 S cm 1 and 1.02 10 1 S cm 1 at 50%RH,*** has been also found that the water uptake and thermal stability of the membranes slightly improved by doping of ionic liquids and *** tensile stress at break at room temperature was 2.61 MPa and 2.33 MPa,for SPEEK/EB/Y2O3 and SPEEK/BS/Y2O3,*** it may be considered that the modification with ionic liquids and Y2O3 is a good potential method for improving the properties of SPEEK proton exchange membrane.

Nickel-based composite coatings reinforced by in situ synthesized TiB2 and WC particles were deposited on stainless steel by laser cladding, and their microstmcture and mechanical properties were investigated. The results show that the coatings are mainly composed of 7-Ni cellular dendrites and dispersed spherical/strip/network shaped TiB2 and equiaxial WC particles. The initial WC particles are dissolved to become fine and mostly dispersed within Y-Ni cellular dendrites. The coating prepared at a special laser energy of 0.225 kJ@mm^-2 is uniform, continuous, and free of pores and cracks. With the decrease in special energy density, TiB2 phase changes from fine spherical particles which cluster together to strip shape with different morphologies and further crystallizes to form network structure, and the dispersion zone also gradually changes from intragranular to intergranular phase. The coating possesses a higher microhardness compared with the substrate, and it has a good metallurgical bond with the substrate and excellent cracking resistance.

Mesh motion strategy is one of the key points in many fluid-structure interaction problems. One popular technique used to solve this problem is known as the spring analogy method. In this paper a new mesh update approach based on the spring analogy method is presented for the effective treatment of mesh moving boundary problems. The proposed mesh update technique is developed to avoid the generation of squashed invalid elements and maintain mesh quality by considering each element shape and grid scale to the definition of the spring stiffness. The method is applied to several 2D and 3D boundary correction problems for fully unstructured meshes and evaluated by a mesh quality indicator. With these applications,it is demonstrated that the present method preserves mesh quality even under large motions of bodies. We highlight the advantages of this method with respect to robustness and mesh quality.

The friction and wear behaviors of tribological mechanical components were studied on a four-ball tester under dry conditions, and the wear mechanism was analyzed by observed worn surface using a scanning electron microscope （SEM）. It was found that the friction and wear properties were improved by the addition ofnano HA particles. The composite containing 1 wt% nano HA had the optimum friction coefficient. It is also found that the addition of nano HA increases the wear resistance of oure PVA-H and PVA-H composites.

The dynamic modal model analysis of the oil casing connection is done by finite element method (FEM), and the first nature frequency, the second nature frequency, the vibration mode shape and the time domain of the node displacement and the element stress variation in the thread connection are gotten. The *** stresses of the connection in the static and dynamic state are also studied. The results of calculation and analysis show: (1) because the maximum of static stress is at the coupling thread end of connection, the connection begins to thread off at the coupling thread end, which is in accord with the results of the thread off experiment in laboratory; (2) because the first nature frequency is very high, the probability of casing connection to be damaged from vibration is little; (3) the shock dynamic load makes casing connection begin to thread off at the tube thread end.

Proteins differentially expressed from maize leaves in response to the infection by Curvularia lunata strain CX-3 were identified through a high-resolution two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE) method. Two inbred lines, 78599-1 and E28, were used, respectively, as resistant and susceptible lines to CX-3 infection. Proteins were extracted from the fourth leaves of sixor seven-leaf stage plants sampled at 24, 36, 48, 60, and 72 h after inoculation with CX-3. Twenty-seven differentially expressed protein spots resolved on the 2-DE gels were identified by MALDI-TOF MS/MS. The results showed that these proteins are associated with photosynthesis, respiration, oxidative and drought stress tolerance as well as signal transduction in maize. Among stress-related proteins, the 22 kDa drought-inducible protein, putative glutathione peroxidase (GPX), and translation initiation factor (eIF-5A) were up-regulated in the resistant inbred line and were implicated in host defense response to C. lunata infection. It suggests that drought-inducible and oxidation stress-related proteins might directly contribute to maize resistance to C. lunata.

The effect of fly ash on controlling alkail-silica rection （ASR） in simudated alkali solution was studied. The expausion of mortar bars and the content of Ca（ OH）2 in cement paste cured at 80 °G for 91 d were measured. Traasmission electron microscopy （TEM） and high-resolution transmission electron microscot9 （HRTEM） were employed to study the microstructure of C-S-H. TEM/ energy dispersive spectroscopy （EDS） leas then used to determine the composition of C-S-H. The pore structure of the paste was analyzed by mercury intntsion porosimetry （MIP）. The results show that the contents of fly ash of 30% and 45% can well inhibit ASR. And the content of Ca（OH） 2 decreases with the increase of fly ash. That fly ash reacted with Ca（OH）2 to produce C-S-H with a low Ca/Si molar ratio could bind more Na^＋ and K^＋ ious, and produce a reduction in the amount of soluble alkali available for ASR. At the same time, the C- S- H produced by pozzolanic reaction converted large pores to snudler ones （ gel pores smaller than 10 nm ） to deusify the pore structure. Perhaps that could inhibit alkali trausport to aggregate for ASR.

Erosion-Corrosion Behaviors of High Velocity Arc Sprayed Fe-AlCr_3C_2 Coating

Iron aluminide intermetallic coatings were prepared from Fe-Al/Cr3C2 cored wires using High Velocity Are Spraying （ HVAS ） technology. Erosion and corrosion properties of HVAS sprayed Fe-Al/Cr3C2 coatings were investigated. Results show that the erosion at impingement angle of 30°is more than that of 90°. The erosion resistance of coatings was enhanced uith the inereaase of temperature. Coatings had a better erosion resislance than substrwles. The erosion changed from ductile behariors to brittle behaviors above 450℃ . At high temperature, the erosion resistances were superior to those at low temperwlure and roonl temperwlure. Cowlings had much higher corrosion properties than substrates. The temperature had a little effect on the corrosion resistance of coatings ; The corrosion losing of cowlings increased slowly with the increase of corrosion time. The HVAS-sprayed Fe-Al/Cr3C2 coatings exhibited a high bond strength and hardness.
