The typical features for an integrated iron & steelmaking industry are high energy consumption and CO2 *** traditional BF-BOF process in an integrated Iron and steelmaking enterprise produces a large amount of residual heat and energy,which has great potential for recovery and abatement potential of CO2 *** this paper,for an integrated Iron & steelmaking enterprise of 10 million tons per year in capacity,the residual heat and energy recovery analysis was *** is indicateded that the residual heat and energy can be recovered as electric power by using present advanced process *** means of the distributed power generation,the residual heat and energy can be recovered,with a power generation capacity of 419.5 kWh per ton steel ***,the abatement potential of CO2 emissions for an integrated iron & steel making enterprise was also evaluated,which indicated that about 398.5 kg CO2 could be reduced per ton steel product.

Using data from more than 40 rivers in the middle Yellow River basin, a study has been made of the influence of coupled wind-water processes on hyperconcentrated flows. A simple “vehicle” model has been proposed to describe hyperconcentrated flows. The liquid phase of two-phase flows is a “vehicle”, in which coarse sediment particles are carried as solid-phase. The formation and characteristics of hyperconcentrated flows are closely related with the forma-tion and characteristics of this liquid-phase and solid-phase. Surface materials and geomorphic agents of the middle Yellow River basin form some patterns of combination, which have deep influence on the formation and characteristics of liquid- and solid-phases of hyperconcentrated flows. The combination of high percentages of relatively coarse material with low percentages of fine material appears in the area predominated by the wind process, where the supply of rela-tively coarse sediment is sufficient, but the supply of relatively coarse sediment is not. The com-bination of low percentages of relatively coarse material with high percentages of fine material appears in the area predominated by the water process, where the supply of fine sediment is sufficient, but the supply of fine sediment is not. In the area predominated by coupled wind-water processes appears the combination of medium percentages of coarse and fine materials, and thus both coarse and fine sediments are in relatively sufficient supply. The manner in which the mean annual sediment concentrations of liquid- and solid-phases vary with total suspended sediment concentration is different. With the increased total suspended sediment concentration, mean annual sediment concentration of liquid-phase increased to a limit and then remained constant; however, mean annual sediment concentrations of solid-phase in-creased continuously. Molecular combing is a powerful method for aligning a large array of DMA molecules onto a surface. It is a process whereby DNA molecules are stretched and aligned on a glass surface by the force via fluid flow. The ability to comb up to several hundred DNAs on a single cover slip allows for a statistically significant number of measurements to be made. These features make molecular combing an attractive tool for genomic studies, such as DNA replication, DNA transcription, DNA-protein interaction and so on. In this review article, we discuss the molecular combing principle, method and its applications.

Owing to the adaptability to large scale processing,excellent composition control and film uniformity,the metal-organic chemical vapor deposition（MOCVD） technique is a promising process for high-temperature superconductor YBa;Cu;O;（YBCO） *** this technique,the evaporation characteristics and thermostability of adopted precursors in whole process will decide the quality and reproducible results of YBCO *** the present report,bis（2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedionato）copper（II）(Cu（TMHD）;) was synthesized by the interaction of copper acetate hydrate with TMHD in methanol solution,and its structure was identified by FTIR,1 H NMR,and EI-MS ***,thermal property and the kinetics of decomposition were systematically investigated by nonisothermal thermogravimetric analysis methods（TGA） at different heating rates in streams of N;,and the average apparent activation energy of evaporation process was evaluated by the Ozawa,Kissinger,and Friedman *** possible conversion function was estimated through the Coats-Redfern method to characterize the evaporation patterns and followed a phase boundary reaction mechanism by the contracting area equation with average activation energy of 85.1 kJ·mol;.

Moist vorticity vector is introduced to study the development and evolution of mesoscale convective vortex (MCV) in the Meiyu front precipitation with the Advanced Regional Predication System (ARPS). In this study, the heavy rainfall is simulated to investigate the genesis, development and dissipation of middle scale convective vortex, which occurred from 0000 UTC 3 July to 1200 UTC 5 July over the Jianghuai River valley. Moist vorticity vector (MVV) has zonal, radial and vertical components in its 3D spatial distribution. The simulation shows that the vertical component of moist vorticity vector well demonstrates the spatial distribution characteristics of middle scale convective vortex, especially in the process of Meiyu front precipitation. Diagnosis upon zonal, radial averaged and mass-integrated quantities of MVV shows that its vertical component and the surface precipitating ratio are in phase with a correlation coefficient of 0.68, indicating that the vertical component of MVV is closely associated with the Meiyu front precipitation. In addition, the tendency of the vertical component of MVV is mainly determined by the interaction between the vorticity and the zonal and radial gradient of condensational or depositional heating.

Debris flows have caused serious human casualties and economic losses in the regions strongly affected by the Ms8.0 Wenchuan earthquake of 2oo8. Debris flow mitigation and risk assessment is a key issue for reconstruction. The existing methods of inundation simulation are based on historical disasters and have no power of prediction. The rain- flood method can not yield detailed flow hydrograph and does not meet the need of inundation simulation. In this paper, the process of water flow was studied by using the Arc-SCS model combined with hydraulic method, and then the debris flow runoff process was calculated using the empirical formula combining the result from Arc-SCS. The peak discharge and runoff duration served as input of inundation simulation. Then, the dangerous area is predicted using kinematic wave method and Manning equation. Taking the debris flow in Huashiban gully in Beichuan County, Sichuan Province, china on 24 Sep. 2oo8 as example, the peak discharge of water flow and debris flow were calculated as 35.52 m3·s-1 and 215.66 m3·s-, with error of 4.15% compared to the measured values. The simulated area of debris-flow deposition was 161,500 m2, vs. the measured area of 144,097 m2, in error of 81.75%. The simulated maximum depth was 12.3 m, consistent with the real maximum depth between lO and 15 m according to the field survey. The minor error is mainly due to the flow impact on buildings and variations in cross-section configuration. The present methodology can be applied to predict debrisflow magnitude and evaluate its risk in other watersheds inthe earthquake area.

Of high analysis function,this software can recover and convert the complete or incomplete date information originally from Ganzhi style in the historical period of china to the Gregorian Calendar System,which may have wide applications in the area of literary history,archaeology and cultural relic,etc.,and solve the Goldbach Puzzles of chinese *** an example,we give the detailed process for the sculptures on four bronze wares with the Ganzhi data and afterwards employ this software and provide their possible dates corresponding to Gregorian system.

Seismic multi-arch structures in East china

In previous papers (Wencai, 2002, 2003), the author has analyzed the deep seismic reflection profiles along some of the Mesozoic plutons in East china, and has pointed out that the crustal structures around these intrusions usually correlate with a special seismic fabric called the seismic multi-arch structure. This paper will continue to show main characteristics of the seismic multi-arch structures and discuss their relationship with mantle-origin magmatism and the lithospheric thinning process. Calibration of seismic reflectors in chinese continental drilling sites shows that small-scale arch-like reflectors can be generated by fractured eclogites or other plutons, they do not belong to the multi-arch structure specially discussed in the paper. The multi-arch structure is char-acterized by several arch-like reflectors distributed in both the upper and lower crust with granitoid plutons or stocks exposed on the surface, which do not have obvious negative Europium anomalies. Based on the distribution pattern of arch reflectors, the multi-arch magmatic structures can be divided into three main types, namely the simple vertical combination type, the spread arch magmatic struc-ture and the arch-bouquet structure. All of them correlate to mantle-origin magmatism, but occur in different places. The spread arch magmatic structures occur within a Mesozoic/Cenozoic rift zone with very thin and hot lithosphere. The vertical combination type of the multi-arch structures occurred near the rift zones where lithosphere was thin and hot. The arch-bouquet magmatic structures occur far from the rift zones where the lithosphere is not hot. The continental rifting acted as the late episode of the lithospheric thinning process seeing that the rift zones usually coincide with the thinnest parts of the lithosphere in East china. In different locations within the lithospheric thinning areas, mantle-origin magmatic activities have different characteristics, which might generate different
