The complementary DNA （cDNA） amplified fragment length polymorphism technique wasused to isolate transcript-derived fragments corresponding to genes involved in the flowering of tea *** sequence analysis of an approximately 300 bp differential fragment amplified by primer combi-nation E11M11revealed 80%-84% similarity to the corresponding part of an α-tubulin gene of other *** complete cDNA sequence of this α-tubulin was cloned by the rapid amplification of cDNA ends technique;its full length is 1537 bp and contains an open reading frame of 450 amino acid residues with two N-glycosylation sites and four protein kinase C phosphorylation *** deduced amino acid sequences didshow significant homology to the α-tubulin from other plants that has been reported to be a pollen-specificprotein and could be correlated with plant cytoplasm-nucleus-interacted male *** named this completecDNA *** nucleotide and amino acid sequence data of Tual have been recorded in the GenBanksequence database with the accession *** Tual gene was cloned into the pET-32.expression system and expressed in Escherichia coli BL2.trxB（DE3）.The molecular weight of expressedprotein was deduced to be approximately 49 *** blot analysis was used to identify the temporalexpression of Tual in tea *** studies of the effect of Tual protein on pollen tube growth indicatedthe Tual solution obviously promoted the growth of tea pollen tube.

A theory of nonfluidized gas-solids flow, which combines the theory of multiphase flow with the mechanics of particulate media, was proposed on the basis of understanding that the particles contact each other, solids and gas are in movement, and the drag force on the particles caused by interstitial gas flow is similar to gravity force having the property of mass force. Then this theory was verified by experiments on vertical and inclined moving beds, and was applied to calculation and design of equipment and devices with moving beds, such as pneumatic moving bed transport, dipleg, V-value, L-valve, orifice flow, and arching prevention. It can be used to guide the design and operation of moving beds and fixed beds.

The suspended sediment transport equation and its near-bed sediment flux are one of the key problems of sediment transport research under nonequilibrium condition. Based on the three-dimensional primitive suspended transport equation, the two-dimensional suspended sediment transport equation is deduced. The derived process indicates that the physical essence of the near-bed sediment flux is right the bottom boundary condition for the suspended sediment transport equation. This paper analyzes the internal relations between the two methods of sediment carrying capacity and shear stress in common use, points out the consistency of these two methods in terms of form and physical meaning, and unifies these two methods theoretically. Furthermore, based on the analysis and comparison of the expressions of the near-bed sediment flux, this paper summarizes some problems to which attention should be paid, thus offering a novel approach to the study and the solution of the problems of suspended sediment transport and exchange flux of near-bed water sediment.

Neuroendocrine-specific protein (NSP) -reticulons are endoplasmic reticulum-associated protein complexes, which are localized in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and identified as markers for neuroendocrine differentiation. In the present study, human reticulon 3 gene (hRTN3) was cloned and its expression pattern in a variety of tissues was investigated. Truncated hRTN3s corresponding to the C-terminal (hRTN3-C) domain were expressed and purified. hRTN3 mRNA was down-regulated during the differentiation of human neuroblastoma cell line SH-SY5Y induced by all-trans-retinoic acid (RA), which suggests that, like other members of the reticulon family, hRTN3 is a potential marker for neuroendocrine differentiation.

Effects of water trophic status on feeding,growth and food utilization of Hemiculter leucisculus (exotic fish for Fuxian Lake)and Anabarilius grahami(native fish for Fuxian Lake)were studied in this experiment in order to compare their tolerance to *** were reared in three types of water(LTS,the low-trophic-status water;MTS,the moderate-trophic-status water;and HTS,the high-trophic-status water).The group reared in LTS also served as the control of the groups reared in MTS and HTS for each *** growth rate(SGR),feed conversion efficiency(FCE),protein retention efficiency(PRE)and energy retention efficiency(ERE)of the group reared in MTS were all higher than those of the groups reared in LTS and HTS for both *** and *** of *** reared in HTS was significantly lower than those reared in LTS and MTS;but EREs of A. grahami reared in MTS and HTS were significantly higher than that reared in *** percentages increase in feeding rate(FR),SGR,FCE,PRE and ERE over control of *** reared in MTS and HTS were lower than those of *** reared in the same type of *** results indicate that *** is less tolerant to eutrophication than *** in the aspect of feeding,growth and food utilization.

This paper studies. for the first time, the storm deposits of a carbonate sequence in the Sinian ZhangquFormation in northern Anhui. In the formation. a great number of calcareous trider sponge spicules were dis-covered in a distal storm turbidity sequence, which have provided further evidence for the correlation of theSinian Systems in North and South china from a view point of palaeontology.

The expression of inducible genes in plants is regulated by specific transcription factors at the transcrip-tional level. A typical transcription factor usually contains a DNA-binding domain, a transcription regulation domain, a dimerization site and a nuclear localization domain. These functional domains define the characteristic, localization and regulatory role of a transcription factor. Transcription factors recognize and bind to specific cis-acting elements or interact with other proteins, and then activate or repress the transcription of target genes by their functional domains. In recent years, elucidation on the structure and function of transcription factors has become an important subject in plant molecular biology.
