Interactive group decision making procedure based on uncertain multiplicative linguistic preference relations

Group decision making problems are investigated with uncertain multiplicative linguistic preference *** unbalanced multiplicative linguistic label set is introduced,which can be used by the experts to express their linguistic preference information over *** uncertain linguistic weighted geometric mean operator is utilized to aggregate all the individual uncertain multiplicative linguistic preference relations into a collective one,and then a simple approach is developed to determine the experts＇ weights by utilizing the consensus degrees among the individual uncertain multiplicative linguistic preference relations and the collective uncertain multiplicative linguistic preference ***,a practical interactive procedure for group decision making is proposed based on uncertain multiplicative linguistic preference relations,in which a possibility degree formula and a complementary matrix are used to rank the given ***,the proposed procedure is applied to solve the group decision making problem of a manufacturing company searching the best global supplier for one of its most critical parts used in assembling process.

Intuitionistic fuzzy set （IFS） is a set of 2-tuple arguments, each of which is characterized by a membership degree and a nonmembership degree. The generalized form of IFS is interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set （IVIFS）, whose components are intervals rather than exact numbers. IFSs and IVIFSs have been found to be very useful to describe vagueness and uncertainty. However, it seems that little attention has been focused on the clustering analysis of IFSs and IVIFSs. An intuitionistic fuzzy hierarchical algorithm is introduced for clustering IFSs, which is based on the traditional hierarchical clustering procedure, the intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operator, and the basic distance measures between IFSs： the Hamming distance, normalized Hamming, weighted Hamming, the Euclidean distance, the normalized Euclidean distance, and the weighted Euclidean distance. Subsequently, the algorithm is extended for clustering IVIFSs. Finally the algorithm and its extended form are applied to the classifications of building materials and enterprises respectively.

A one-step method is proposed to estimate the unknown functions in the varying coefficient models, in which the unknown functions admit different degrees of smoothness. In this method polynomials of different orders are used to approximate unknown functions with different degrees of smoothness. As only one minimization operation is employed, the required computation burden is much less than that required by the existing two-step estimation method. It is shown that the one-step estimators also achieve the optimal convergence rate. Moreover this property is obtained under conditions milder than that imposed in the two-step estimation method. More importantly, as only one minimization operation is employed, the full asymptotic properties, not only the asymptotic bias and variance, but also the asymptotic distributions of the estimators can be derived. The asymptotic distribution results will play a key role for making statistical inference.

Interactive early warning technique based on SVDD

After reviewing current researches on early warning, it is found that “bad”data of some systems is not easy to obtain, which makes methods proposed by these researches unsuitable for monitored systems. An interactive early warning technique based on SVDD （support vector data description） is proposed to adopt “good” data as samples to overcome the difficulty in obtaining the “bad” data. The process consists of two parts：（1） A hypersphere is fitted on “good” data using SVDD. If the data object are outside the hypersphere, it would be taken as “suspicious”; （2） A group of experts would decide whether the suspicious data is “bad” or “good”, early warning messages would be issued according to the decisions. And the detailed process of implementation is proposed. At last, an experiment based on data of a macroeconomic system is conducted to verify the proposed technique.

To determine the reasonable resource dependent relations between activities for the purpose of exactly computing the total floats and the free floats of activities, correctly identifying critical activities and critical sequences in a project schedule with variable resource constraints, the concept of the minimal feasible set （MFS） is proposed and the properties of MFS are discussed. The methods to identify optimal MFSs and resource links are then studied. Furthermore, MFS is generalized to the situation that the preconditions of MFS are not satisfied. Contrastive results show that in establishing resource links and resolving floats, MFS is at least not inferior to other methods in all cases and is superior in most situations.

rainfall resource is very important to the development of society and economy,especially to eastern Jianghuai watershed which is now facing serious challenge of water shortage. Based on the observational records covering the period from 1957 to 1999,the characteristics of precipitation changing over eastern JiangHuai watershed and its connection to sediment discharge in Chihe river valley were studied using tendency analysis and correlation analysis .results show that the rainfall in this area had a declining tendency in Spring at a rate of -21.2mm/10a, annual and Summer precipitation was increasing at the rate of 10.6mm/10a and 14.8mm/10a. The gray correlation analysis shows that sediment discharge correlates most closely with runoffs and the frequency of the rainstorm with a daily precipitation of 50-100mm, on the second place,with the rainfall and the frequency of the rainstorm of a daily precipitation no less than 100mm;and thirdly with the number of rainy days. In addition, the paper suggests the major countermeasures and methods for controlling of soil and water losses in this area.

Moist vorticity vector is introduced to study the development and evolution of mesoscale convective vortex (MCV) in the Meiyu front precipitation with the Advanced regional predication System (ArpS). In this study, the heavy rainfall is simulated to investigate the genesis, development and dissipation of middle scale convective vortex, which occurred from 0000 UTC 3 July to 1200 UTC 5 July over the Jianghuai river valley. Moist vorticity vector (MVV) has zonal, radial and vertical components in its 3D spatial distribution. The simulation shows that the vertical component of moist vorticity vector well demonstrates the spatial distribution characteristics of middle scale convective vortex, especially in the process of Meiyu front precipitation. Diagnosis upon zonal, radial averaged and mass-integrated quantities of MVV shows that its vertical component and the surface precipitating ratio are in phase with a correlation coefficient of 0.68, indicating that the vertical component of MVV is closely associated with the Meiyu front precipitation. In addition, the tendency of the vertical component of MVV is mainly determined by the interaction between the vorticity and the zonal and radial gradient of condensational or depositional heating.

The incoherent control of finite-level quantum systems is investigated. Following a brief introduction to coherent control paradigms in quantum control, a control problem that can not be accomplished using only coherent control is presented. For such a control problem, it is proved that it can be accomplished using incoherent control based on projective measurement and coherent control for two classes of finite-level quantum systems, i.e., eigenstate controllable quantum systems and wavefunction controllable quantum systems.

china′s urban reforms have brought social progress and development, but a comprehensive national system of social welfare (for example, unemployment insurance, pensions, medical care and public housing) for new migrants from rural areas is lacking. One of the most remarkable changes in Chinese cities in the last decade was a change in social "equality", with the rise of new poverty both in individual communities and some social groups in urban society. However, there is little social assistance and public infrastructure for the migrants. Governments or communities or individual should pay attention to the control of new urban poverty and new slums. This paper consider that it is necessary to launch a successful policy, which include mainly: 1) accommodating urban growth through low cost investment projects; 2) urban economy depends heavily on successful macroeconomic policy; 3) to broaden the three channels linking adjustment to the incidence of urban poverty; 4) to restructure urban economic based on the high or new technology; 5) to coordinate relationship between urban economic growth and environment management for sustainable development of Beijing′s metropolitan fringe.
