The travelling wave solutions of a generalized Camassa-Holm-Degasperis-Procesi equation ut-uxxt + (1 + b)umux = buxuxx + uuxxx are considered where b > 1 and m are positive integers. The qualitative analysis methods of planar autonomous systems yield its phase portraits. Its soliton wave solutions, kink or antikink wave solutions, peakon wave solutions, compacton wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and periodic cusp wave solutions are obtained. Some numerical simulations of these solutions are also given.

The BEC of charged pions is investigated in the framework of O(4) linear sigma *** using Cornwall-Jackiw- Tomboulis formalism,we have derived the gap equations for the effective masses of the mesons at finite tempera-ture and finite isospin *** critical temperature and phase diagram of BEC are discussed in the non-chiral limitat Hartree approximation.

It is usually very difficult to directly obtain molecular dissociation energy De and all accurate high-lying vibrational energies for most diatomic electronic states using modern experimental techniques or quantum theories, and it is also very difficult to give accurate analytical expression for diatomic molecular dissociation energy. This study proposes a new analytical formula for obtaining accurate molecular dissociation energy based on the LeRoy and Bernstein’s energy expression in dissociation limit. A set of full vibrational energy spectra for some electronic states of N2.molecule are studied using the algebraic method (AM) suggested recently, and the corresponding accurate molecular dissociation energies are evaluated using the proposed new formula and high-lying AM vibrational energies. The results show that the AM spectra and the new theoretical dissociation energies agree excellently with experimental data, and thereby providing a new physical approach to generating accurate dissociation energies for electronic states of diatomic molecules.

From Helmholtz equation of the harmonic electromagnetic waves, the integral equations of the light field at the medium boundaries are obtained by use of the Green's theorem and are discretized into linear equation set with the values of the light field and its derivative as the unknowns. On solving the linear equation set, we realize the rigorous computations of the light fields at the boundaries. Then the intensities of the light waves scattered by the random self-affine fractal surfaces in the optical near-field are calculated, and the propagation characteristics, the evolutions of the contrast and the intensity probability density function of the near-field speckles are studied in detail. The near-field speckles are much different from the conventional speckles in the diffraction regions and in the imaging systems. There are obvious local fluctuations in the intensity distributions of the near-field speckles and such fluctuations disappear after propagating a distance of one wavelength from the medium surfaces. For the random surfaces with smaller lateral correlation lengths, the speckle contrasts approach the saturation values and the speckle fields approach Gaussian distribution within the near-field, while for the random surfaces with larger lateral correlation lengths, such evolutions become comparatively slow.

Electronic structure of SmCo7-xTix alloy has been studied by means of the spin-polarized MS-Xα method. It is shown that a few of electrons are transferred to Sm(5d) orbital due to orbital hybridization between Sm and Co atoms. The exchange interaction between 5d-3d electrons is stronger, which is the main reason resulting in the long-range ferromagnetic order between Co and Sm atoms. The Curie temperature of SmCo7-xTix is generally lower than that of pure Co metal, which may be explained by the weaker aver- age of coupling strength between Co sites due to some negative exchange couplings occurring mainly at 2. site. The calculated results for the Sm5Co2.Ti6 cluster may lead to a better understanding of why SmCo7-xTix is stable phase. Since the negative interaction of 2. sites weakens and the bonding at EF strengthens with increasing Ti concentration, which result in the decrease in the free energy of the alloy, the stable ferromagnetic order forms inside SmCo7-xTix. Considering the localization of 4f states and 5d moment arising from the orbital hybridization, the calculated moment is 9.47μB per formula unit that is in agreement with experiments.

TiO-2.thin films have bee deposited on p-Si(111) substrates by pulsed-laser ablation of metallic Ti target in the O-3 ambient. The current-voltage and capacitance-voltage of the Al/TiO-2.Si capacitors are measured. The results show that the dielectric constant of thin film after being annealed at 700℃ is found to be 46, and the border trap density and the interface state density at the TiO-2.p-Si interface are 1.8×10 12.cm -2.and 2.10 12.eV -1·cm -2. respectively. The conduction mechanisms of as-deposited films are also discussed.

Migmatization in Higher Himalayan Crystallines (HHC) results from anatexis. The widely distributed migmatites in HHC are an important clue to investigate the relationship be- tween anatexis and the origins of Higher Himalayan leucogranites (HHL), and to understand the effect of anatexis on crustal evolution during the post-collision period. We studied in detail the chemical features of three basic constituent parts of the migmatites, i.e. leucosome, mesosome and melanosome, and determined the K-Ar ages of leucosomes. Our studies indicate that type-I leucosome is the product of crystallization of melt generated by partial melting of mesosome at source region, but type-II leucosome and HHL probably underwent crystallization differentiation of plagioclase during melt aggregation and migration. The age of 2..67 Ma of Type-I leucosome, which is a little older than the beginning of MCT movement, indicates that anatexis may have played an important role in the formation of MCT. That the ages of type-II leucosome (ranging from 14.82.to 18.37 Ma) are consistent with that of HHL provides new chronological evidence for the relationship between migmatization and HHL. We obtained a very young age of 6.2. Ma of Type-II leucosome that provides new time constraint on magma activity in the central segment of Higher Himalayas.

We briefly reviewed the experimental study on a-delayed proton decays near the proton drip line published by our group during the period of 1996―2.04, namely the first observation of the a-delayed proton decays of 9 new nuclides in the rare-earth region and the new measurements of a-delayed proton decays of 5 nuclides in the mass ～90 region near the N = Z line with the aid of the “p-?” coincidence in combination with a He-jet tape transport system. In the meantime some important experimental technique details were supplemented. The experimental results, including the half -lives, spins, parities, deformations and production reaction cross sections for the 14 nuclei were summarized and compared with the current nuclear-model predictions, and then the following points were represented. (1) The experimental half-lives for 85Mo and 92.h as well as the predicted “waiting point” nuclei 89Ru and 93Pd are 5―10 times longer than the theoretical predictions given by M?ller et al. using a macroscopic-microscopic model. It considerably influences the predictions of the abundances of the nuclides produced in the rp-process. (2. The current-model predictions are not consistent with the experimental assignments of the spins and parities for the proton drip-line nuclei 142.o and 12.Pm. However, the nuclear potential energy surface (PES) calculated by using a Woods- Saxon-Strutinsky method reproduced the experimental results. (3) The Alice code overestimated the production reaction cross sections of the studied 9 rare-earth nuclei by one order of magnitude or two, while HIVAP code overestimated them by one order of magnitude approximately.

A left-right symmetric model with two Higgs bi-doublet is shown to be a consistent model for both spontaneous P and CP violation. The flavor changing neutral cur- rents can be suppressed by the mechanism of approximate global U(1) family symmetry. The constraints from neural K meson mass difference ΔmK are calcu- lated and it is demonstrated that a right-handed gauge boson W2.contribution in box-diagrams with mass well below 1 TeV is allowed due to a cancelation caused by a light-charged Higgs boson with a mass range of 150-300 GeV. The W2.con- tribution to εK can be suppressed from an appropriate choice of additional CP phases appearing in the right-handed Cabbibo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix. The model is also found to be fully consistent with B0 mass difference ΔmB and the mixing induced CP violation sin2.J/ψ , which is usually difficult for the model with only one Higgs bi-doublet. The new physics beyond the standard model can be directly searched at the colliders LHC and ILC.
