Based upon Stroh formalism we derive a novel and convenient scheme for determining the elastic fields of a two-dimensional anisotropic body with a parabolic boundary subject to two kinds of boundary conditions, which are free surface and rigid surface, respectively. The corresponding Green's functions are found by using the conformal mapping method. When the parabolic curve degenerates into a half-infinite crack or rigid inclusion, the singular stress fields near the tip of defects ark obtained. In particular, those Green's functions for a concentrated moment M(0) applied at a point on the parabolic curve are also studied. It is easily found that arbitrary parabolic boundary value problems can be solved by using these Green's functions and associate integrals.

The Bi4Zr0.5Ti2.5O12 (BZT) thin films were fabricated on the LaNiO3 bottom electrode using sol-gel method. The structure and morphology of the films were character-ized using X-ray diffraction, AFM and SEM. The results show that the films have a perovskite phase and dense microstructure. The 2Pr and 2Vc of the Pt/BZT/LaNiO3 capacitor are 28.2 μC/cm2 and 14.7 V respectively at an applied voltage of 25 V. After the switching of 1×1010 cycles, the Pr value decreases to 87% of its pre-fatigue val-ues. The dielectric constant (ε) and the dissipation factor (tanδ) of the BZT thin films are about 204 and 0.029 at 1 kHz, respectively. The films show good insulating behavior according to the test of leakage current. The clockwise C-V hysteresis curve observed shows that the Pt/BZT/LaNiO3 structure has a memory effect be-cause of the BZT film’s ferroelectric polarization.

An algorithm for solving the graph isomorphism problem with 3-D DNA structures is proposed in this paper. The k-armed branched junction molecules are used to code k-degree vertices. Double stranded molecules are used to code edges. Then the molecules are mixed in a tube to be ligated. The result can be detected by gel electrophoresis. The time complexity of the algorithm is O(n2), where n is the number of vertices of the graph.

Tissue P systems are distributed parallel and non-deterministic computing models in the framework of membrane computing, which are inspired by intercellular communication and cooperation between neurons. Recently, cell separation is introduced into tissue P systems, which enables systems to generate an exponential workspace in a polynomial time. In this work, the computational power of tissue P systems with cell separation is investigated. Specifically, a uniform family of tissue P systems with cell separation is constructed for effciently solving a well-known NP-complete problem, the partition problem.

A solid/liquid/gas unified model has been developed to investigate the gradient composition formation during the plasma deposition manufacturing(PDM) composite materials process. In this model,an enthalpy porosity model was applied to deal with the melting and solidification of the deposited layer,and a level-set approach was introduced to track the evolution of the free surface of the molten pool and the deposited layer. Moreover,complicated physical phenomena occurring at the liquid/gas interface,including forced convection heat loss,heat emission and plasma heat source,have been incorporated into the governing equations by source terms. In this study,the numerical experiment of nickel base alloy powder deposited on the medium steel substrate by PDM technique was implemented based on the staggered grid and SIMPLEC algorithm. Concentration gradient distribution of the solute material at the composite material interface,fluid flow and temperature distribution in the molten pool and the deposited layer have been investigated in detail.
