An entanglement measure for multipartite pure states is formulated using the product of the von Neumann entropy of the reduced density matrices of the constituents. Based on this new measure, all possible ways of the maximal entanglement of the triqubit pure states are studied in detail and all types of the maximal entanglement have been compared with the result of ‘the average entropy’. The new measure can be used to calculate the degree of entanglement, and an improvement is given in the area near the zero entropy.

Recent progress in the synthetic chemistry and catalysis of polyoxometalates (POMs) is reviewed. The novel POMs and their derivatives emerging in nearly three years (2.02.2.04) are introduced, including POMs with novel structure, POMs-organic hybrid compounds and host-guest complexes. Our review is focused on the elaboration of POMs' supramolecular chemistry.

Using three different parameterized dark energy models, we reconstruct the properties of dark energy from the latest 397 Sne Ia, CMB and BAO with the present matter density, Ωm0, given prior. We find that, when Ωm0 is not small, for example, Ωm0 = 0.2. or 0.32. an evolving dark energy with a crossing of phantom divide line is favored and this conclusion seems to be model independent. We also find that the evolving properties of dark energy become more and more evident with the increase of Ωm0 given prior.

We investigated the directed graph self similar sets under some weak overlapping condition. The newly developed full-potential linearized augmented plane wave (LAPW) and local orbitals (lo) based on standard APW methods are briefly introduced, and the structure and magnetic properties of R(Fe, Si)12.compounds (R = Y, Nd) are calculated using the method. The distribution of Si at different sites is analyzed based on total energy of one crystal unit with structure having been optimized. The characters of magnetic mo-ments, total density of states (TDOS) and partial density of states (PDOS) for different crystal sites Si occupies are obtained and analyzed. The results show that the total mag-netic moments of RFe10Si2.(R = Y, Nd) are larger than those of RFe10M2.(M = Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Mo and W) and the hybridization mechanism is seen as follows. Si(8j) reduce the mag-netic moments of Fe at three sites, however, Si(8f) mainly reduce the magnetic moments of Fe(8i) and Fe(8j) atoms. The Curie temperature is markedly enhanced by the introduc-tion of Si atoms according to spin fluctuation of DOS at Fermi level.
