Orbit determination for geostationary satellites with the combination of transfer ranging and pseudorange data

Geostationary satellites(GEOs) play a significant role in the regional satellite navigation *** experiments show that the clock corrections could be mitigated through a single strategy or double differencing strategies for a navigation constellation,but for the mode of individual GEO orbit determination,high precision orbit and clock correction could not be obtained in the orbit determination based on the pseudorange data.A new GEO combined precise orbit determination(POD) strategy is studied in this paper,which combines pseudorange data and C-band transfer ranging *** strategy overcomes the deficiency of C-band transfer ranging caused by limited stations and tracking time *** the combination of transfer ranging and pseudorange data,clock corrections between the GEO and the stations can be estimated simultaneously along with orbital parameters,maintaining self-consistency between the satellite ephemeris and clock correction *** error covariance analysis is conducted to illuminate the contributions from the transfer ranging data and the psudoranging *** data collected for a Chinese GEO satellite with 3 C-band transfer ranging stations and 4.L-band pseudorange tracking stations,POD experiments indicate that a meter-level accuracy is *** root-mean-square(RMS) of the post-fit C-band ranging data is about 0.203 m,and the RMS of the post-fit pseudorange is 0.4.8 *** component errors of the POD experiments are independently evaluated with the satellite laser ranging(SLR) data from a station in beijing,with the residual RMS of 0.076 *** SLR evaluation also suggests that for 2-h orbital predication,the predicted radial error is about 0.4.4.m,and the clock correction error is about 1.38 *** for the combination of one C-band transfer ranging station and 4.pseudorange stations,POD is able to achieve a reasonable accuracy with the radial error of 0.280 m and the 2-h predicted radial error of 0.888 *** syn

Microstructure and Frictional Behavior of Fe-based Amorphous Metallic Coatings Prepared by Atmospheric Plasma Spraying

Amorphous metallic coatings with a composition of Fe4.Cr15Mo14.15B6Y2 were prepared by means of atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) process under different conditions. The microstructure and frictional behavior were characterized simultaneously in this article. The results show that the as-deposited coatings consist of amorphous matrix and some precipitated nanocrystals, while the amorphous fraction and particle deformation as well as crystallization mechanism are significantly sensitive to the spraying parameters. The amorphous coatings express high microhardness and excellent wear resistance under dry frictional wear condition, which attributes to the inherent characteristic of amorphous phase and the dispersion strengthening of precipitated nanocrystals. The dominant wear mechanism of the amorphous coatings is fatigue wear accompanying with oxidative wear. In addition, the microhardness and wear resistance of the amorphous coatings were improved by optimizing spraying parameters, owing to the effect of both structural character and proper proportional of amorphous and nanocrystals fraction.

EXAFS Studies on Local Atomic Structure in the Amorphous Mg_(65)Cu_(25)Gd_(10) Alloy

Local atomic structures of an amorphous Mg65Cu25Gd10 alloy and the structural changes by thermal annealing have been studied by extended X-ray absorption fine structure （EXAFS）. The correlation between structural changes and mechanical properties for the Mg65Cu25Gd10 alloy has also been discussed. Results showed that Cu atoms around Gd in Mg65Cu25Gd10 lost rapidly during annealing , resulting in the segregation of Cu atoms. The coordination number NGd-Mg of Mg65Cu25Gd10 annealed at 373 K first diminished and then augmented with the increase of annealing time. The formation of polyhedral short-range order unit with coordination number of nearly 12 around Gd atoms is in favor of the improvement of mechanical properties. The chemical short-range order, not topological short-range order in the amorphous Mg65Cu25Gd10 alloy had obvious changes during annealing.

Solar energetic particles (SEPs) are accelerated in corona at an early phase of solar energetic particle events (SEPE). The acceleration mechanism of SEPs in corona can only be inferred from an analysis of multi-band observational data, as the observation of SEPs is usually made around 1AU. In this context, people have investigated spectrums, charge state, solar release time (SRT), and multi-band data of SEPEs, in an attempt to judge the acceleration mechanism of SEPs. The SRT computation of SEPs is an important and commonly used approach to study the acceleration mechanism of SEPs in corona. This paper reviews some important findings concerning the SRT computation of SEPs, and analyzes different merits of each approach for such calculation, based on a range of SEPE case studies. This paper also analyzes and discusses both possible and actual acceleration mechanisms of a number of SEPEs, by calculating the SRT of the SEPEs. Finally, the paper summarizes the possible problems in studying an acceleration mechanism of SEPEs inferred from the SRT of SEP.

Re-Os age for molybdenite from the Gangdese porphyry copper belt on Tibetan plateau: Implication for geody- namic setting and duration of the Cu mineralization

The Gangdese porphyry copper belt consists of one large and five middle-small deposits in addition to dozens of ore-bearing porphyry bodies. The belt trends 350 km long along the EW-striking Gangdese batholith, and locally occurs as a string of beads extending about 50 km within the SN-trending rifting zones (grabens) on the Tibetan plateau. Monzonitic granite- porphyry and quartz monzonitic porphyry, as dominant host rocks, are shoshonitic and potassic calc-alkaline. Available dating data indicate that the ages of the shallow-level emplacement for these porphyries vary from 10 Ma to 18 Ma, which are identical to that of associated potassic calc-alkaline volcanic rocks (10—15 Ma) and mafic dykes (13—18 Ma). The timing and duration of Cu mineralization events are constrained by Re-Os ages for molybdenites from three porphyry copper deposits in the Gangdese porphyry copper belt. Five molybdenite samples from the Nanmu deposit yielded an 187Re-187Os isochron with a highly pre-cise age of (14.76?.22) Ma; six molybdenites from the Chongjiang deposit gave an isochron age of (14.04..16) Ma. Re-Os model ages for two molybdenite samples from Lakang抏 deposit vary from 13.5 Ma to 13.6 Ma, which are basically identical to isochron ages mentioned above. All the thirteen samples from these three deposits yielded a linear array in the isochron diagram with a higher correlation coefficient of 0.99719 and an isochron age of (14.39?.22) Ma (1s error), suggesting an coeval event of the Cu mineralization and a shared source of ore materials for the Gangdese porphyry copper belt. Compared with the longer-lived felsic magmatic-hydrothermal system, the Cu mineralization is a relatively short event with duration of about 0.5 Ma, and usu-ally occurs in the later-stage of the complicate magmatic system. The emplacement age of the Gangdese porphyries indicates that they intruded after the rapid rising of the Gangdese Mountains at 21—23 Ma, and formed in a post-collision crustal ex-tension env

Frontal genesis of moisture atmosphere during the early 2008 persistent freezing-rain event in southern china

From January 10 to February 2, 2008, a severe and persistent freezing-rain event occurred in southern and southwestern china. Here we use an observational analysis to compare the persistent freezing-rain event in the early 2008 with the winter precipita- tion in the late 2007 over south of the Yangtze River (Jiangnan). The persistent freezing-rain event was directly linked to the activity of quasi-stationary front. The gradient of equivalent temperature (ET) can well indicate the frontal genesis of moist atmosphere (moisture front) and its activity as well as its relationship with precipitation belt. The precipitation types (snow and freezing rains) are related to the vertical structure of moisture front. The inversion profile of ET vertical distribution is a typical synoptic condition that caused the freezing-rain event. The horizontal gradient of ET with a criterion of 10℃ / 100 km, which reflects the accumulation and release of atmospheric energy, can be applied to predict the precipitation 5-10 days in advance.

The moist vorticity vector (MVV), defined as (ζa×▽qv)/ρ introduced by Gao et al. is used to study a heavy rainfall event in North china. The MVV has zonal, meridional and vertical components in a three-dimensional framework. Analysis of domain-mean and mass-integrated quantities shows that the variation of the vertical component of the MVV closely follows the variation of the cloud hydrometeors, with a linear correlation coefficient of 0.95, indicating that the vertical component of the MVV is strongly associated with midlatitude convection. Further analysis shows that the vertical component of the MVV reflects the interaction between the horizontal vorticity and the horizontal specific humidity gradient, which can associate dynamic and thermodynamic processes with cloud microphysical processes. Thus, this study can help to understand how the interaction between circulations and clouds aids the development of convection, and the MVV can be used to trace the development and evolution of heavy rainfall.

This paper addresses pre-LOI (before Lissajous orbit insertion) trajectory maneuvers for the libration point mission of CHANG'E-2,which is the first Chinese satellite to fly to the Sun-Earth L2 libration point and the first satellite ever to fly to the L2 point from lunar ***,a transfer trajectory for the mission is designed based on InterPlanetary Superhighway theory under the constraint of the remaining propellant,TT&C (telemetry,track and command) and sunlight *** effects of trajectory maneuver errors on the mission are also ***,based on the analysis results,the article investigates the trajectory maneuver schemes for the lunar escape and transfer trajectory maneuvers employing mathematical models and operational *** mission status based on our maneuver schemes is then presented,and the results of control operation and corresponding analysis are provided in ***,the future trajectory maneuver in the Lissajous orbit is *** to the analysis of the CHANG'E-2 TT&C data,the trajectory maneuver schemes proposed in the article work properly and efficiently.

Cu(Ⅱ) Potentiation of Alzheimer Aβ1-4. Cytotoxicity and Transition on its Secondary Structure

Mounting evidence has shown that dyshomeostasis of the redox-active biometals such as Cuand Fe can lead to oxidative stress,which plays a key role in the neuropathology of Alzheimer's disease（AD）.Here we demonstrate that with the formation of Cu（Ⅱ）·Aβ1-4. complexes,copper markedly potentiatesthe neurotoxicity exhibited by β-amyloid peptide （Aβ）.A greater amount of hydrogen peroxide was releasedwhen Cu（Ⅱ）·Aβ1-4. complexes was added to the xanthine oxidase/xanthine system detected by potassiumiodide *** bound to Aβ1-4. was observed by electron paramagnetic resonance（EPR） *** dichroism （CD） studies indicated that copper chelation could cause a structuraltransition of Aβ.The addition of copper to Aβ introduced an increase on β-sheet as well as α-helix,whichmay be responsible for the aggregation of Aβ.We hypothesized that Aβ aggregation induced by copper maybe responsible for local injury in *** interaction between Cu2+and Aβ also provides a possible mechanismfor the enrichment of metal ions in amyloid plaques in the AD brain.
