The effects of the substrate-water interaction on the wetting behavior in water-oil and surfactant-water-oil systems confined by one substrate which has the preferential interaction to one species of particles have been investigated by using the free energy analysis and discontinuous molecular dynamic simulations. As the preferential interaction between the substrate and water particles varies from small repulsion to large attraction, the partial drying, partial wetting and complete wetting state are observed in sequence. In addition, the wetting behavior of surfactant aqueous solution on the substrate is not only dependent on the interaction, but also limited by the maximum equilibrium concentration of surfactants at the interface.

The structure of Web site became more complex than before. During the design period of a Web site, the lack of model and method results in improper Web structure, which depend on the designer's experience. From the point of view of software engineering, every period in the software life must be evaluated before starting the next period's work. It is very important and essential to search relevant methods for evaluating Web structure before the site is completed. In this work, after studying the related work about the Web structure mining and analyzing the major structure mining methods (Page\|rank and Hub/Authority), a method based on the Page\|rank for Web structure evaluation in design stage is proposed. A Web structure modeling language WSML is designed, and the implement strategies for evaluating system of the Web site structure are given out. Web structure mining has being used mainly in search engines before. It is the first time to employ the Web structure mining technology to evaluate a Web structure in the design period of a Web site. It contributes to the formalization of the design documents for Web site and the improving of software engineering for large scale Web site, and the evaluating system is a practical tool for Web site construction.

In a SIPV model, when the commission proportion is not certain, but related with bargain price, generally, it is a linear function of the bargain price, this paper gives bidders＇ equilibrium bidding strategies in the first-and secondprice auctions. We find that the equilibrium strategies in second-price auction are dominant strategies. For seller or auction house, whether the fixed proportion or the unfixed proportion is good is not only related with constant item and the linear coefficient of the linear function, the size of the fixed commission proportion, but also related with the value of the item auctioned. So, in the practical auctions, the seller and the auction house negotiated with each other to decide the commission rules for their own advantage.

Polar set of Markov processes is an important concept in probabilistic potential theory, but it is not easy to judge the polarity of the sets. In this paper, we give some results which can be easily used to examine the polarity of the sets whenX t belongs to a special class of Levy processes. We also give a result about polar functions of symmetric stable processes.

Gene expression microarray data can be used to classify tumor types. We proposed a new procedure to classify human tumor samples based on microarray gene expressions by using a hybrid supervised learning method called MOEA+WV (Multi-Objective Evolutionary Algorithm+Weighted Voting). MOEA is used to search for a relatively few subsets of informative genes from the high-dimensional gene space, and WV is used as a classification tool. This new method has been applied to predicate the subtypes of lymphoma and outcomes of medulloblastoma. The results are relatively accurate and meaningful compared to those from other methods. By means of some algebraic techniques,especially the Binet-Cauchy formula,an explicit multi-soliton solution of the derivative nonlinear Schrdinger equation with vanishing boundary condition is attained based on a pure Marchenko formalism without needing the usual scattering data except for given N simple poles. The one-and two-soliton solutions are given as two special examples in illustration of the general formula of multi-soliton solution. Their effectiveness and equivalence to other approaches are also demonstrated. Meanwhile,the asymptotic behavior of the multi-soliton solution is discussed in detail. It is shown that the N-soliton solution can be viewed as a summation of N one-soliton solutions with a definite displacement and phase shift of each soliton in the whole process(from t →∞ to t → +∞ ) of the elastic collisions.

We explore the techniques of utilizing N gram information to categorize Chinese text documents hierarchically so that the classifier can shake off the burden of large dictionaries and complex segmentation processing, and subsequently be domain and time independent. A hierarchical Chinese text classifier is implemented. Experimental results show that hierarchically classifying Chinese text documents based N grams can achieve satisfactory performance and outperforms the other traditional Chinese text classifiers.
