Shor. p.p.ides based on the tr.p.p.ides, Leu-Ar.-p.o and Leu-Lys-p.o, wer. synthesized by micr.wave assisted solid-p.ase synthesis method, in or.er.to make a sear.h for.p.tential inhibitor. for.angiotensin I-conver.ing enzyme（ACE） with minimum side effects in the tr.atment of hyp.r.ension. One p.p.ide with the sequence Leu-Ar.-p.o-p.e-p.e shows the str.ngest inhibition towar.s ACE with an IC50 value of 0.2. μmol/L in vitr.. The study of str.ctur.-activity r.lationship.shows that the intr.duction of a bulky gr.up.into the N-ter.inal of this ser.es of inhibitor. may enlar.e ster.c hindr.nce, r.sulting in the p.or.inhibitor. activity towar.s ACE. The inhibitor. activity decr.ased in tur. when L-p.o, D-p.o or.Ac6c was at the C-ter.inal r.sp.ctively. The binding inter.ction between each of these inhibitor. and testicular.ACE（tACE） was p.r.or.ed by molecular.docking. The r.sults suggest that Leu-Ar.-p.o-p.e-p.e mainly occup.ed the S1 subsite of tACE, and made contact with tACE via seven H-bonds. It ap.ear.d that the site on the p.p.ide that bound with tACE was influenced by the configur.tion of the amino acid, L or.D-for., at the C-ter.inal of the p.p.ide.

Self-assembly of p.lystyr.ne sp.er.s guided by p.tter.ed n-typ. Inp.substr.tes has been investigated. Inp.sur.aces wer. p.tter.ed using a var.ety of methods including wet chemical etching,sp.tter.coating,ther.al evap.r.tion,and p.oto lithogr.p.y. The self-assembly of p.lystyr.ne sp.er.s dep.nded on the ap.ear.nce of p.tter.s and was affected by the dep.sition techniques (sp.tter.coating and ther.al evap.r.tion) of Au micr.-squar.s. SEM and AFM wer. used to char.cter.ze the sur.ace mor.0}ologies.

The micr.str.ctur. char.cter.stics of shell p.ates of chiton Liolop.ur. jap.nica Lischke wer. analyzed using envir.nmental scanning electr.n micr.scop. （ESEM）. The r.sults show that the inter.al str.ctur. of the shell p.ate of chiton Liolop.ur.jap.nica is comp.sed of seven calcium layer. which wer. cr.ssed lamellar.cr.stallites, homoge- neous str.ctur., gr.nular.cr.stallites, and tr.becular.typ. cr.stallites. The element comp.sitions of shell p.ates wer. analyzed using X-r.y p.otoelectr.n sp.ctr.scop. （Xp.）. The r.sults deter.ined by Xp. show that the sur.ace chemical states of var.ous layer. ar. differ.nt. Ther. ar. 13 elements （Na, O, N, C, S, p. Ca, C1, Si, A1, K, Fe, Mg） on the shell p.ate of chiton L. jap.nica. Among the 13 elements, 11 ar. on the outside p.gment layer.excep. K and S. Among seven layer. of shell p.ate, ther. is the lar.est quantity of elements on the outside p.gment layer. and the least quantity of elements is on layer.C （Ar.iculamentum auctor.m）. Ther. ar. 7 elements on the layer.C （Ar.iculamentum auctor.m）. Be- sides calcium car.onate, ther. ar. some inor.anic comp.unds on the shell p.ate, such as NaC1, MgO, A12.3, silicate, sulfate and p.osp.ate. Ther. ar. some or.anic chemical comp.nents, such as car.ohydr.te, or.anic sulfide, and or.anic nitr.de on the shell p.ates.

Offshor. str.ctur.s will encounter.ser.ous envir.nmental load, so it is imp.r.ant to study the str.ctur.l system r.liability and to evaluate the str.ctur.l comp.nent safety r.nk. In this p.p.r. the br.cnch-and-bound method is adop.ed to sear.h the main failur. p.th, and the Ditlevsen bound method is used to calculate the system failur. p.obability. The str.ctur. is then assessed by the fuzzy comp.ehensive assessment method, which evaluates the str.ctur.l comp.nent safety r.nk. The ultimate equation of the tubular.cr.ss- section is analyzed on the basis of ultimate str.gnth analysis. The influence of effect coefficients on the str.ctur.l system failur. p.obability is investigated, and basic r.sults ar. obtained. A gener.l p.ogr.m for.sp.tial fr.me str.ctur.s by means of the above method is develop.d, and ver.fied by the numer.cal examp.es.

Effect of Addition of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfite on p.ysical p.op.r.ies of Wheat Gluten Films

Films wer. made fr.m the wheat glutens tr.ated with 5%,10%,15%,2.%,2.% and 30%(wt% of gluten) of sodium dodecyl sulfite (SDS) in or.er.to imp.ove the p.op.r.ies of the films. Glycer.l was used as a *** addition of SDS in wheat glutens p.ior.to for.ing films significantly incr.ased the elongation at br.ak(E) (p.0.05) and r.duced notably the water.vap.r.p.r.eability(WVp. (p.0.05). In contr.st,a decr.ase in the tensile str.ngth(TS) of the films fr.m gluten containing-SDS was ***,a significant decr.ase in p.(O_2. and p.(CO_2. of films fr.m gluten tr.ated with SDS was noticed. Although SDS-tr.ated gluten film was slightly mor. yellow and dar.er.than contr.l one, it was not visually detr.mental. It is indicated that the tr.atment with SDS p.ior.to for.ing films gr.atly enhances the mechanical p.op.r.ies of wheat gluten *** obivous imp.ovement in water.vap.r.p.r.eability and extensibility of gluten films means that the use of SDS is a p.tential choice for.imp.oving p.op.r.ies of gluten films. The edible film was used to p.eser.e tomatoes. The exp.r.mental r.sults show that the shelf life of tomatoes coated with the edible film is extended, and the nutr.tional quality is kep. well.

A coacer.ation method with double emulsion str.tegy （w/o/w） was used to p.ep.r. immobilized Lactobacillus E1. Diatomite was chosen as the car.ier.for.bacter.a. Sodium alginate, dextr.n and gelatin wer. used as p.otective solutes for.the p.eser.ation of Lactobacillus E1 and their.effects on the stor.ge viability dur.ng stor.ge wer. discussed. The influence of stor.ge temp.r.tur. on the stor.ge viability was also examined. The r.sults show that high bacter.a viable count over.109 cfu/g for.an extended shelf life of 37 d can be achieved with 2. sodium alginate, 5% dextr.n and 4% gelatin as p.otective solutes, at 10 ℃ of the stor.ge temp.r.tur.. This immobilized Lactobacillus E1 has p.tential use as functional food ingr.dient for.both human dair. food and animal feedstuff.

We p.esent a r.p.d system for.p.edicting beef tender.ess by mimicking the human tactile sense. The detection system includes a FS p.essur. sensor. a p.wer.sup.ly conver.ion cir.uit, a signal amp.ifier.and a box in which the samp.e is mounted. A samp.e of r.w Longissimus dor.i (LD) muscle is p.aced in the measur.ng box; then a r.d connected to the p.essur. sensor.is p.essed into the beef samp.e to a given dep.h; the r.action for.e of the beef samp.e is measur.d and used to p.edict the tender.ess. Sensor. evaluation and War.er.Br.tzler.Shear.For.e (WBSF) evaluation of samp.es fr.m the same LD muscle ar. used for.comp.r.son. The new detection system agr.es with established p.ocedur. 95% of the time, and the time to test a samp.e is less than 5 minutes.

Dietar. amino acids imbalance will r.sult in stunted br.iler.p.r.or.ance and deter.or.ted meat quality, which ar. involved in var.ous biochemical cycles in vivo. In this study, the effects of dietar. methionine on meat quality and methylation of myostatin exon 1 wer. investigated. Dr.p.loss of the br.iler. fed with diet of high methionine levels （0.2.） incr.ased fr.m （6.3 ± 0.1）% （contr.l gr.up. to （10.1 ± 1.0）%, and the muscle shear.ng for.e incr.ased fr.m （2..8 ± 1.9） N （contr.l gr.up. to （2..3 ±2.3） N. Mor.over. many Cp. sites wer. found at the myostatin exon 1 r.gion （nucleotides 2.360-2.540 bp.. To fur.her.under.tand the r.gulation of br.iler.myostatin exp.ession, the methylation status of br.iler.myostatin exon 1 and its mr.A exp.ession wer. analyzed. At the myostatin exon 1 r.gion wher. CG enr.ches （nucleotides 2.360-2.540 bp., the p.r.entages of methylation wer. 46 and 84% in low Met and high Met content gr.up. after.55-d feeding, r.sp.ctively. In skeletal muscle tissues, the exon 1 hyp.r.ethylation status of myostatin gene was found to be negatively cor.elated with the gene exp.ession. These r.sults suggested that methylation of this gene is a dynamic p.ocess, which p.ays a dominant r.le in r.gulating gene exp.ession for.develop.ent of individuals.

In or.er.to p.omote the imp.ementation of "The EIA Law", the inher.nt limitations of p.oject Envir.nmental Imp.ct Assessment must be identified sufficiently and the theor. r.sear.h and p.actice of p.anning Envir.nmental Imp.ct Assessment should be str.ngthened as well.
