Angular-momentum-projected energy surface calculations for A ≈ 110 nuclei indicate three distinct energy minima occurring at different angular-momenta. These correspond to normal, super-, and hy- per-deformed shapes coexisting in one nucleus. 110Pd is studied in detail, with a quantitative prediction on super- and hyper-deformed spectra by the Projected Shell Model calculation. It is found that several other neighboring nuclei in the A-110 mass region, with the neutron number around 64, also exhibit clear super- and hyper-deformation minima in the projected calculation.

Theoretical calculations of the energy bands in nucleus 102.Zr are carried out by taking the projected shell model approach, which has reproduced the experimental data. In addition, by analyzing band-head energies, corresponding configurations of yrast band, quasi-particle rotational bands and side bands, we have worked out the microscopic formation mechanism of axially symmetric deformation bands: The low-excitation deformation bands are attributed to the high-j intruder states 1g 7/2.and 1h 11/2.in the N=4, 5 shells; the quasi-particles in the orbit v5/2.[532., v3/2.[411] and v3/2.[413] in particular play an important role in the deformation of 102.Zr.

We have performed a dynamical calculation of the bound state problem of D0D*0 by considering the pion and sigma meson exchange potential. Our preliminary analysis disfavors the molecular interpretation of X(3872. if we use the experimental D*Dπ coupling constant g=0.59 and a reasonable cutoff around 1 GeV,which is the typical hadronic scale. In contrast,there probably exists a loosely bound S-wave BB* molecular state. Such a molecular state would be rather stable since its dominant decay mode is the radiative decay through B*→Bγ.

The composition fractions of β-stable neutron stars and their radial distributions are investigated based on Skyrme-Hartree-Fock theory and Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff (TOV) equation. It is found that a pure neutron interior with a radius of 3.5 km can exist in the neutron stars. When the radius is greater than 3.5 km, the fractions of the proton, electron and μ- appear and increase with the increment of the radius, then decrease after reaching their maximum at the radius of 8 km. These results make it possible to further study the thermal evolution and magnetic properties of the neutron stars.

The energies,in particular the lifetimes of the first excited states in even-even nuclei provide a worthful information about the quadrupole deformation of the nuclear *** the even-even Os isotopes （Z=76） with neutron numbers N≤12.,the systematics of the excited energies of the first 2.states indicates that Os（N=108） has maximal *** the N=108 towards the closed shell at N=82.nuclear shape changes slightly with decreasing neutron *** from Os to Os,the quadrupole deformationβ（E） extracted from the energies of the 2.excited states remain almost constant at about 0.2.. This behavior may be related to the possible X（5） structures for these *** systematicses of the excited energies for both the 2.states and with the addition of the 4 states show similar trend of shape evolution and make an appearance of a maximal deformation at Os for the even-even Os nuclei.

The nuclear shapes of 187,189Tl were investigated theoretically in this work. The total routhian surface (TRS) calculations were performed for N=106 and 108 isotopes of thallium (Z=81). The single-particle energies were obtained from the deformed Woods-Saxon potential, with the Lipkin-Nogami (LN) treatment of pairing. It is found that the collective oblate rotation coexists with the high-K prolate rotation. Superdeformed prolate rotation is included in this calculation.

Cross sections of 64（n,γ）（65）Zn reaction are measured in the energy range from 156to 1150 keV by the activation technique. The activities of the products are counted with a highresolution HPGe γ-ray spectrometer. The neutron fluence is determined by （197）Au（n,γ）（198）Aucross section. Experimental activation cross sections are given for the first time. The errors ofthe measured results are 5%-8%.

By means of the nuclear parton distribution studied only with lepton deep-inelastic scattering experimentaldata,the J/φ"normal nuclear absorption"and {2. loss effects are studied in a Glauber formalism at HERA andRHIC *** that the absorption cross section σincreases with the charmonium-nucleon center of mass{2.,the results reveal a significant dependence of the σon rapidity y at RHIC *** initial-state {2.loss effect,which is found important only at HERA energies,is also considered,and its influence should be eliminatedwhen we studied the absorption effect at low collision ***,we also present the theoretical prediction forLHC.
