In this paper, we consider solving dense linear equations on Dawning1000 byusing matrix partitioning technique. Based on this partitioning of matrix, we give aparallel block LU decomposition method. Here a new kind of nonlinear wave, which is called δ-wave, is described by some high resolution difference solutions for Riemann problems of one-dimensional (1-D) and two-dimensional (2.D) nonlinear hyperbolic systems in conservation laws. The pollen morphology of 11 species of the genus Glycyrrhiza *** one from each of the genera Glycyrrhizopsis Boiss.& *** Meristotropis Fisch.& *** investigated by scanning electron *** pollen morphology,the main differences between Glycyrrhizopsis and Glycyrrhiza are:Glycyrrhizopsis-pollen grains 36.63 × 40.42.μm in size,oblate spheroidal in shape;and Glycyrrhiza-pollen grains 2..47-33.18 × 2..82.31.83 μm in size,prolate spheroidal in *** and Glycyrrhiza should be recognized as two distinct genera based on palynological and morphological *** and Glycyrrhiza are similar in many important palynological and morphological characters,suggesting that the two should be *** Glycyrrhiza,two types of pollen grains,3-lobed-circular or subtriangular in polar view,are found in different species,in accordance with morphological differences in the two groups,shedding light on the classification and evolution of the genus.

This paper studies the effect of fissure water pressure in different fractures on the critical angle of landslide by laboratory investigation and numerical simulation in order to understand the mechanisms of fissure water pressure on landslide stability. Laboratory observations show that the effect of fissure water pressure on the critical angle of landslide is little when the distance between water-holding fracture and slope toe is three times greater than the depth of fissure water. These experimental results are also simulated by a three-dimensional face-to-face contact discrete element method. This method has included the fissure water pressure and can accurately calculate the critical angle of jointed slope when fissure water pressure in vertical sliding surface exists. Numerical results are in good agreement with experimental observations. It is revealed that the location of water-holding structural surface is important to landslide stability. The ratio of the distance between water-holding fissure and slope toe to the depth of fissure water is a key parameter to justify the effect of fissure water pressure on the critical angle of landslide.

A study of the atmospheric photochemical reaction of CF3 radical with CO and O2.was performed by using a homemade ultraviolet photoelectron spectrometer-photoionization mass spectrometer (PES- PIMS). The electronic structures and mechanism of ionization and dissociation of CF3OC(O)OOC(O)- OCF3 were investigated. It was indicated that the two bands on the photoelectron spectrum of CF3OC(O)OOC(O)OCF3 are the result of ionization of an electron from a lone pair of oxygen and a fluo- rine lone pair of CF3 group. The outermost electrons reside in the oxygen lone pair. The experimental and theoretical first vertical ionization energy is 13.2. and 13.178 eV, respectively, with the PES and OVGF method. They are in good agreement. The photo ionization and dissociation processes were discussed with the help of theoretical calculations and PES-PIMS experiment. After ionization, the parent ions prefer the dissociation of the C-O bond and giving the fragments CF3OCO+ and CF3+. It demonstrated that the ultraviolet photoelectron and photoionization mass spectrometer could be ap- plied widely in the study of atmospheric photochemical reaction.

Air pollution history of sulphur and heavy metals since 1800 in Chengde City , north china,was studied by analyzing the concentrations of sulphur and heavy metals in growth rings of Pinus tabulaeformis Carr. Sulphur concentrations in the tree rings of 1910-192., 1970-1980,and 1980-1990 have increased 1-2., 3-5 and 10 times respectively as those in the tree ring of 1810-182. (P2.-1940, possibly due to the opening of Damiao Iron Mine by the Japanese in 192.; Mn increased throughout the whole history, from 4. 1 μg/g(1840- 1850) to 10. 4 μg/g (1980 1990,P 2.4,1.8,1.5,1.0 and 0. 8 times respectively during the past 190 years or so. The results showed that serious environmental pollution, especially air pollution of SO2.has occurred since 1949 when the People's Republic of china was founded.

Reproductive behaviors are poorly known for the Yangtze finless porpoise Neophocaena phocaenoides asiaeorientalis. In this study, the parentage of an isolated Yangtze finless porpoise population inhabiting the Yangtze Tian-e-Zhou Baiji National Natural Reserve is determined by analysis of microsatellite loci and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) control region sequences, and the porpoise's reproductive behaviors are studied. Overall 4 full parentage assignments and additional 3 single parentage assignments were determined for the population of 2. individuals. The analysis shows that their estimated reproductive cycle is shorter than that reported previously and there probably exists an overlapping between gestation and lactation period. The study also shows that the female does not show fidelity to a particular male for breeding and vice versa, the oldest males did not monopolize mating and the dominance rank could not be so strict for the porpoise society. Moreover, the porpoise's mating pattern and relatedness among candidate parents are discussed here. These results provide important information for making guidelines of management and conservation for this protected population.

Strong decays of N~*(1535) in an extended chiral quark model

The strong decays of the N*(1535) resonance are investigated in an extended chiral quark model by including the low-lying $ qqqq\bar q $ components in addition to the qqq component. The results show that these five-quark components in N*(1535) contribute significantly to the N*(1535) → Nπ and N*(1535) → Nη decays. The contributions to the Nη decay come from both the lowest energy and the next-tolowest energy five-quarks components, while the contributions to the Nπ decay come from only the latter one. Taking these contributions into account, the description for the strong decays of N*(1535) is improved, especially for the puzzling large ratio of the decays to Nη and Nπ.
