Charge-exchange(CX) recombination spectroscopy is a powerful tool monitoring ion temperature and plasma rotation with good temporal and spatial resolutions. A compact, new design for a high-throughput, tri-band high spectral resolution spectrometer has been developed for the charge-exchange recombination spectroscopy measurement on the HL-2. tokamak. The simultaneous measurements of He II(468.57 nm), C VI(52..1 nm), and Dα(656.1 nm accompanied by beam emission spectra) with an acquisition frequency up to 400 Hz are achieved by vertically binning the spectrum from each fiber in experiments. Initial results indicate that the system can provide radial profiles of not only ion temperature and rotation velocity,but also concentration of carbon. For the case of helium, the measurements for the ion temperature and rotation velocity are straightforward but the apparent concentration associated with the observed CX intensity is obviously too high. Modeling of the active He II CX feature including plume contributions needs to be carried out to extract the true helium *** spectrometer could become a prototype for the ITER charge-exchange recombination spectroscopy diagnostic and the pilot experiments, as presented here, demonstrate the possibility of impurity concentrations measurements based on the combined measurement of local beam emission and charge-exchange recombination spectroscopy spectra.

Micro-droplet jetting belongs to the field of precision fluid dispensing *** traditional subtraction manufacture process,micro-droplet jetting as an additive fabrication technique with features of non-contact and data-driven represents a new development trend of modern manufacturing *** this paper,the design,fabrication and performance of a multi-materials drop-on-demand (DOD) inkjet system based on pneumatic diaphragm actuator were *** capturing the droplet ejection process and measuring the droplet dimension,a self-made in situ imaging system based on time delayed external trigger was set *** performance of the generator was studied by adjusting the structure and control ***,the influence of fluid properties on the droplet ejection process was experimentally ***-solderballs of 160.5 μm in diameter and UV curing adhesive micro-bumps of 346.94 μm in contact diameter with the substrate were *** results demonstrated that the DOD inkjet generator possesses characteristics of robust,easy to operate and maintain,and able to withstand high temperature as well as applicability to a wide variety of materials including polymers,low melting point resin and high melting point *** system has a great potential of being used in the fields of IC and MEMS packaging,3D printing,organic semiconductor fabrication,and biological and chemical analysis.

PREPARATION,CHARACTERIZATION AND HYDROGENATION PROPERTY OF POLYMER-SUPPORTED Pd-Fe_2._3 COMPOSITE CATALYSTS

A series of polymer- supported Pd -Fe2.3 composite catalysts were prepared and their hydrogenation property mas investigated. It was found that the above catalysts have good catalytic hydrogenation activity for carbon - carbon double bonds systems and reusability. Furthermore, XPS and IR spectra shouted that active component in the composite catalysts is atomic Pd(0). An addition of a small amount of Fe2.3 has a promotive action upon hydrogenation activity of the catalysts, which indicated that there are some strong interactions (electron transfer) between Pd(0) and Fe(Ⅲ) species. Based on these results, a possible catalytic hydrogenation mechanism was also suggested.

Recent progress in the synthetic chemistry and catalysis of polyoxometalates (POMs) is reviewed. The novel POMs and their derivatives emerging in nearly three years (2.02.2.04) are introduced, including POMs with novel structure, POMs-organic hybrid compounds and host-guest complexes. Our review is focused on the elaboration of POMs' supramolecular chemistry.

Trace element geochemistry of the Lower Cambrian black rock series from northwestern Hunan, South China

Samples of black rock series collected from the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation, northwestern Hunan Province, China, were analyzed for trace elements. The trace element geochemical characteristics of the ore layer (high enrichments of Ni, Mo, V, U, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Tl and Ba; high U/Th ratios and LREE enriched patterns with positive Eu and Y anomalies) support the assumption that the Ni Mo polymetallic layer is of submarine hydrothermal origin. High field strength elements (HFSE) and lithophile elements such as Nb, Ta, Zr, Hf, Li, Be, Rb, Cs, Th and Sc are remarkably higher in the upper unit than those in the lower unit of the Niutitang Formation. These features may reflect that hydrothermal contributions were diminished, and terrigenous constituents were increased in the sediments of the upper unit of the Niutitang Formation.

A mathematical model for solid liquid and mass transfer coupling and numerical simulation for hydraulic fracture in rock salt

The hydraulic fracture in rock salt is a complicated solid fluid and mass transfer coupling process. Through theoretical analysis, a solid fluid and mass transfer coupling mathematical model of hydraulic fracture in rock salt is established in this work, and numerical simulations are carried out with the model. The simulation results indicate that rock salt cracks in the typical way of wing-crack(or tensile crack) during the fracture, and the relation of fracture aperture (w) with expanding distance (x) and fracture time (t) is w=(0.0034+0.0006t)e (0.0007+0.0018t)x. Furthermore, it has been found that both the water pressure in the crack and the expanding velocity of the crack decrease gradually as a result of the influence of salt dissolving during fracturing. These numerical simulations well illustrate the process of hydraulic fracture in rock salt and are significantly meaningful in engineering practice.

A new approach based on PSO algorithm to find good computational encoding sequences

Computational encoding DNA sequence design is one of the most important steps in molecular computation. A lot of research work has been done to design reliable sequence library. A revised method based on the support system developed by Tanaka et al. is proposed here with different criteria to construct fitness function. Then we adapt particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to our encoding problem. By using the new algorithm, a set of sequences with good quality is generated. The result also shows that our PSO-based approach could rapidly converge at the minimum level for an output of the simulation model. The celerity of the algorithm fits our requirements.

Growth of Carbon Encapsulated Long Nickel Nanorods on Bulk Nickel Substrate

Carbon nanotube encapsulated nickel nanorods were catalytic grown via pyrolysis of oil on a bulk nickel wire substrate. X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy were employed to characterize the as-prepared sample. The results show that, carbon nanotubes possess several microns in length, the filled metallic nickel nanorods with a uniform diameter of 35 nm were tightly encapsulated by the carbon capsules. The detailed formation mechanism for the carbon nanotubes encapsulated nickel nanorods were discussed briefly.
