Effect of annealing treatment on the structural, optical, and electrical properties of Al-doped ZnO thin films

Highly conductive and transparent Al-doped ZnO （AZO） thin films were prepared from a zinc target containing Al （1.5 wt.%） by direct current （DC） and radio frequency （RF） reactive magnetron sputtering. The structural, optical, and electrical properties of AZO films as-deposited and submitted to annealing treatment （at 300 and 400℃, respectively） were characterized using various techniques. The experimental results show that the properties of AZO thin films can be further improved by annealing treatment. The crystallinity of ZnO films improves after annealing treatment. The transmittances of the AZO thin films prepared by DC and RF reactive magnetron sputtering are up to 80% and 85% in the visible region, respectively. The electrical resistivity of AZO thin films prepared by DC reactive magnetron sputtering can be as low as 8.06 x 10-4 Ωcm after annealing treatment. It was also found that AZO thin films prepared by RF reactive magnetron sputtering have better structural and optical properties than that prepared by DC reactive magnetron sputtering.

This work analytically study soliton excitations in an one dimensional chain with the same mass but two alternating force constants between the nearest neighbors by means of multiple scales method plus quasi discrete approximation. This model simulates a row of atoms in the 〈111〉 direction of a diamond structure type of crystals. The explicit expressions of the stationary soliton solutions are obtained at some special wave vectors of the carrier wave ( q =±π/ a for acoustic mode and q=0 , ±π/ a for optical mode). The configuration of the atomic displacements of this model is different from that of diatomic chain with quartic anharmonicity.

The two-dimensional total routhian surface (TRS) calculations were performed to probe into the triaxial superdeformed characteristics of a strongly populated band X2.in 161Lu. This band was identified as a triaxial superdeformed band by using our TRS method. We also got its formation mechanics,i.e. the neutron-shell correction energy plays a crucial role,while the rotating energy and the deformation-driving effect of high j intruder orbit i13/2.also play an additional role.

We report some key results in the theoretical investigations of configurations of lipid membranes and present several challenges in this field,which involve（i）the exact solutions to the shape equation of lipid vesicles,（ii）the exact solutions to the governing equations of open lipid membranes,（iii）the neck condition of two-phase vesicles in the budding state,（iv） the nonlocal theory of membrane elasticity,and（v）the relationship between the symmetry and the magnitude of the free energy.

ZrB2.ZrAlN multilayered coatings with various modulation ratios(t ZrB2.t ZrAlN)and constant modulation periods were prepared by magnetron sputtering system at room ***,XRD,surface profiler and nano-indenter were employed to investigate the influences of tZ rB 2.tZrAlNon the microstructure and mechanical properties of the *** interfaces and nanoscale multilayered modulation were confirmed by *** multilayer with modulation period of 40 nm and ratio of 3:1 displayed the highest hardness(36.4 GPa)and critical fracture load(76.477 mN)with lower *** polycrystalline structure and multilayered modulate structure were directly responsible for the enhanced mechanical properties.

A time-of-arrival(TOA) system based on GPS technology for locating VHF radiation sources from lightning has been developed and used in observation sites in the northern Shandong Province,*** 3D images of the lightning progression have been obtained successfully for the first time in *** 3D-channel evolutions of typical negative CG,positive CG and IC lightning flashes have been discussed together with the data of fast electric field *** was found that significant differences existed between the negative and positive CG lightning flashes in terms of the initiation and propagation of the radiation *** preliminary breakdown of a negative CG lightning flash propagated at a speed about 5.2.104 m/*** stepped leader of negative CG lightning flashes was trigged by negative initial ***,it propagated downward at a speed of 1.3×105 m/*** initial process of the positive CG lightning flashes was also a propagation process of negative *** streamers propagated dominantly horizontally in the positive charge region and accumulated positive charges at the origin of the lightning,and as a consequence,initiated downward positive streamers.A new type of lightning discharge that was triggered by a narrow bipolar pulse(NBP) is discussed in this *** NBP was originated at altitude of about 10.5 km in the upper positive charge *** a distinct difference from normal IC flash,its channels extended horizontally all around and produced a lot of radiation *** source power of the NBP could approach 16.7 kW,which is much greater than that of normal lightning discharge ranging between 100 mW and 500 *** 3D propagation of this new type of lightning discharge was observed and obtained for the first time in *** possible initiation mechanism of this new type of light-ning is discussed here.

We calculate the new physics contributions to the neutral Bd0and Bs0meson mass splitting △Mdand △Msinduced by the box diagrams involving the charged-Higgs bosons in the top quark two-Higgs doublet model（T2.DM）.Using the precision data,we obtain the bounds on the parameter space of the T2.DM:（a）For fixed MH=400 GeVand δ=[0°,60°],the upper bound on tan β is tan β≤30 after the inclusion of major theoretical uncertainties;（b）Forthe case of tan β≤2.,a light charged Higgs boson with a mass around 300 GeV is allowed;and（c）The bounds ontan β and MHare strongly correlated:a smaller（larger）tan β means a lighter（heavier）charged Higgs boson.

We constrain the Cardassian expansion models from the latest observa- tions, including the updated Gamma-ray bursts （GRBs）, which are calibrated using a cosmology independent method from the Union2.compilation of type Ia supernovae （SNe Ia）. By combining the GRB data with the joint observations from the Union2.SNe Ia set, along with the results from the Cosmic Microwave Background radia- tion observation from the seven-year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe and the baryonic acoustic oscillation observation galaxy sample from the spectroscopic Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release. we find significant constraints on the model oarameters of the original Cardassian model ΩM0=0.2.2.0.014^0.015,n=0.03-0.05^＋0.05 and n=-0.16-3.2.^＋0.2.,β=0.76-0.58^＋0.34 of the modified polytropic Cardassian model, which are consistent with the ACDM model in a l-or confidence region. From the reconstruction of the deceleration parameter q（z） in Cardassian models, we obtain the transition redshift ZT = 0.73 ± 0.04 for the original Cardassian model and ZT = 0.68 ± 0.04 for the modified polytropic Cardassian model.
