There are four types of metamorphic rocks in the Marinwobo fault, i.e, cataclasite, mylonite, mictosite and migmatitic granite, and the formation of these rocks is due to the progressive metamorphism of the pyroclastics. The fluids play a very important role in the metamorphic process of these rocks in the Marinwobo fault, the most important feature is that the fluids not only result in the migration of the major elements of the deformation rocks, but also result in the volume loss of the deformation rocks in the deformation process. Thus the migration laws of the major elements in different stages of the progressive metamorphic process are discussed according to mass balance equations. Finally, the quantitative analysis of the mass loss and volume loss of the different rocks the in Marinwobo fault is discussed in this paper.

Firstly, the paper defines the general formula of similarity measures of normal fuzzy sets, then gives the simplified formula of normal triangular fuzzy sets, and based on which we propose a new fuzzy inference method-Fuzzy Inference based on Similarity Measures of normal Fuzzy Sets. Finally, we compare it with Mamdani’s fuzzy inference.

A monotone compact implicit finite difference scheme with fourth-order accuracy in space and second-order in time is proposed for solving nonlinear reaction-diffusion equations. An accelerated monotone iterative method for the resulting discrete problem is presented. The sequence of iteration converges monotonically to the unique solution of the discrete problem, and the convergence rate is either quadratic or nearly quadratic, depending on the property of the nonlinear reaction. The numerical results illustrate the high accuracy of the proposed scheme and the rapid convergence rate *** iteration.

By using AM1 method, the structures and electronic properties of N-methyl-2.(2.-thiophene)-pyrrolo[3,4]C60 (MTPC) and N-methyl-pyrrolo[3,4]C60 (MPC) have been studied. Based on the AM1 geometry optimizing, the electronic spectra and second-order nonlinear optical polarizabilities (() of MTPC and MPC were calculated by using INDO/SCI method combined with Sum-Over-States (SOS) expression.

Homoclinic bifurcations in four-dimensional vector fields are investigated by setting up a local coordinate near a homoclinic orbit. This homoclinic orbit is principal but its stable and unstable foliations take inclination flip. The existence, nonexistence, and uniqueness of the 1-homoclinic orbit and 1-periodic orbit are studied. The existence of the two-fold 1-periodic orbit and three-fold 1 -periodic orbit are also obtained. It is indicated that the number of periodic orbits bifurcated from this kind of homoclinic orbits depends heavily on the strength of the inclination flip.

The mechanism of the spin-forbidden reaction Ti+(4F, 3d2.s1) + C2.4 → TiC2.2. (2.2. + H2.on both doublet and quartet potential energy surfaces has been investigated at the B3LYP level of theory. Crossing points between the potential energy surfaces and the possible spin inversion process are discussed by means of spin-orbit coupling (SOC) calculations. The strength of the SOC between the low-lying quartet state and the doublet state is 59.3 cm-1 in the intermediate complex IM1-4B2. Thus, the changes of its spin multiplicity may occur from the quartet to the doublet surface to form IM1- 2.1, leading to a sig-nificant decrease in the barrier height on the quartet PES. After the insertion intermediate IM2. two dis-tinct reaction paths on the doublet PES have been found, i.e., a stepwise path and a concerted path. The latter is found to be the lowest energy path on the doublet PES to exothermic TiC2.2. (2.2. + H2.products, with the active barrier of 4.52.kcal/mol. In other words, this reaction proceeds in the following way: Ti++C2.4 →4IC→IM1-4B2.4,2.SC→IM1- 2.1→[2.Sins]→IM2.[2.SMCTS]→IM5→TiC2.2.(2.2.+H2.

Based on the data of historical geography, the analysis of the stratigraphic section, and the textual research of place names and satellite photographic interpretations, the authors study the formation and evolution of ancient lakes on the south coast plain of Laizhou Bay where there were once three lakes: Judian Lake, Qingshuibo Lake and Biehua Lake. All the lakes formed 6000 years ago evolved from the lagoons near the estuary and went through two periods, the golden age in the Middle Holocene and the shrinking age in the Late Holocene. The disappearance of the lakes resulted from the drying climate, the migration of the river courses and the activities of human beings. Among the three reasons, the migration of the river courses is the main one.

Based on the hole-particle correspondence an approximate so-called doubly contracted CI scheme is proposed. Examples calculated based on the doubly contracted CI (DCCI) scheme show that the number of configurations after contraction is reduced by three orders of magnitude, and the computation time is reduced by an order of magnitude. The examples also show that compared with experiments the DCCI and uncontracted CI have similar and reasonable accuracy to some spectroscopic parameters.
