Digitally determining forest inventory units with an ecological classification system

Management-level forest resource data in china were obtained with a combination of two forest inventories. However, inconsistencies in the spatial attributes of forest data vary between the two inventory types and between two inventories of the same type. The inconsistencies make it inconvenient for long-term forest management planning with digital technologies. ecological Land Types (ELTs) and ecological Land Type Phases (ELTPs) have been mapped in selected forestry regions in northeast china, where important forest industries are located. The boundaries of ELTs are determined by geomorphic conditions, which are quantified by Digital Elevation Models (DEM); ELTPs are classified by overlaying ELTs with forest vegetation data layers that are obtained with both remotely sensed and ground data. The ELTPs represent the divisions of land in terms of both natural and human-induced forest conditions, and therefore they are reliable units for forest inventories and management. This paper introduces a case study for digitally determining forest inventory units in Benxi City, Liaoning Province, northeast china. The general objective of the study was to explain how a compatible forest inventory system should be designed and why the compatible forest inventory system was significant to digital forestry in china.

We present an accountable authority key policy attribute-based encryption (A-KPABE) *** this paper,we extend Goyal's work to key policy attribute-based encryption *** first generalize the notion of accountable authority in key policy attribute-based encryption scenario,and then give a *** addition,our scheme is shown to be secure in the standard model under the modified Bilinear Decisional Diffie-Hellman (mBDDH) assumption.

The determination of the formation age of subcontinental Lithosphere Mantle (SCLM) is a widely concerned issue in mantle geochemistry. it is difficult to obtain the formation age of SCLM using lithophile isotopic systems such as Rb-Sr, Sm-Nd, U-Th-Pb, ete., but as siderophile elements, the Re-Os isotopic system provides a powerful tool for that work. Here a comprehensive review on the recent development in Re-Os dating for SCLM has been given.

The genetic requirements for the transcription of glnA,encoding the major glutaminesynthetase in a rifamycin SV-producing Amycolatopsis mediterranei strain,U32.were *** experiments showed that the promoter of U32.glnA （pglnA） was likely to have two transcriptioninitiation sites:P1and P2.located 157 and 45 nucleotides （nt） upstream of the translational start codon,*** mobility shift and DNase I footprinting analyses revealed a 30 bp cis-element locatedat 45 to 75 nt downstream of P1,or 38 to 68 nt upstream of *** sequence of the cis-element displayedhigh similarity to the corresponding regions of pglnA from Streptomyces coelicolor and *** as a reporter gene,the expression levels of U32.pglnA and its deletion derivatives under differentnitrogen-source conditions were analyzed by detecting the catechol dioxygenase activities in ***54,*** J508 and *** FS10 （glnR mutant）.These in vivo studies showed that theactivation of U32.pglnA in *** required GlnR,and its binding to the U32.pglnA was furtherconfirmed by the gel mobility shift *** and heterologous expression of the U32.glnR allowed usto detect the in vitro interaction between the U32.GlnR and the corresponding pglnA *** shown by in vivo glnR inactivation and complementation indicated that GlnR is essential for theactive transcription of glnA in U32.

The optimal information feedback has a significant effect on many socioeconomic systems like stock market and traffic systems aiming to make full use of resources. In this paper, we study dynamics of traffic flow with real-time information. The influence of a feedback strategy named vehicle number feedback strategy (VNFS) is introduced, in which we only calculate the vehicle number of first 500 route sites from the entrance. Moreover, the two-route traffic system has only one entrance and one exit, which is different from those in the previous work. Our model incorporates the effects of adaptability into the cellular automaton models of traffic flow, and simulation results by adopting this optimal information feedback strategy have demonstrated higher efficiency in controlling spatial distribution of traffic patterns than the other three information feedback strategies, i.e., TTFS, MVFS and CCFS.

Background: Biliary tract carcinoma (BTC) is relatively rare and comprises a spectrum of invasive tumors arising from the biliary tree. The prognosis is extremely poor. The incidence of BTC is relatively high in Asian countries, and a high number of cases are diagnosed annually in china owing to the large population. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify the epidemiology and high-risk factors for BTC in china. The signs associated with BTC are complex, often require collaborative treatment from surgeons, endoscopists, oncologists, and radiation therapists. Thus, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive {2. guideline for ***: This clinical practice guideline (CPG) was developed following the process recommended by the World Health Organization. The Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation approach was used to assess the certainty of evidence and make recommendations. The full CPG report was reviewed by external guideline methodologists and clinicians with no direct involvement in the development of this CPG. Two guideline reporting checklists have been adhered to: Appraisal of Guidelines for research and Evaluation (AGREE) and Reporting Items for practice Guidelines in Healthcare (RIGHT).Results: The guideline development group, which comprised 85 multidisciplinary clinical experts across china. After a controversies conference, 17 clinical questions concerning the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of BTC were proposed. Additionally, detailed descriptions of the surgical principles, perioperative management, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, radiotherapy, and endoscopic management were ***: The guideline development group created a comprehensive {2. guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of BTC, covering various aspects of epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment. The 17 clinical questions have important reference value for the management of BTC.

Recursive Least Squares Estimator with Multiple Exponential Windows in Vector Autoregression

In the parameter tracking of time-varying systems, the ordinary method is weighted least squares with the rectangular window or the exponential window. In this paper we propose a new kind of sliding window called the multiple exponential window, and then use it to fit time-varying Gaussian vector autoregressive models. The asymptotic bias and covariance of the estimator of the parameter for time-invariant models are also derived. Simulation results show that the multiple exponential windows have better parameter tracking effect than rectangular windows and exponential ones.

As an important hydrological process in rainfall redistribution, throughfall is responsible for the transfer of rainfall from a tree canopy to the soil and clearly influences the soil and water conservation in forest *** of spatial distribution of throughfall are of significance of *** under Eucommia ulmoides forest was measured from July 2.04 to September 2.05 at the ecological Benefit Monitoring Station of the Yangtze River Protection Forest,which is located in Cili County,Hunan Province(2.°30′N, 110°10′E).Results show that:The correlation between throughfall and rainfall was *** the whole measurement period,the volume of throughfall accounted for 71.6% of gross *** maximal volume of throughfall occurred in July 2.04 and the minimal throughfall relative to rainfall occurred in November *** spatial variation in throughfall was observed below the canopy of Eucommia ulmoides ***,throughfall among different sampling sites differed significantly(P2.st and 2.nd differed significantly(P2..8% of total rainfall cases In addition,the canopy characteristics had influence on the spatial distribution of *** was a significantly negative correlation between canopy height,coverage and throughfall ***,there was a significantly positive correlation between distances from the sampling site to the nearest tree trunk,trunk angle inclination and throughfall percentage.

A study on the interactions among several plant secondary compounds and aphids

The research, focused on the specific interactions among seven plant secondary compounds and aphids, was carried out and the preliminary results showed: (1) 'T-typed tube method' was regarded as the best method compared with others designed to observe the interactions. (2. Cabbage aphid was able to be attracted by laurolene while it was not susceptible to α-pinene, β-pinene and diamylene. (3) Gossypol, a major secondary substance in cotton, was able to be implicated as feeding attractant to cotton aphid. (4) Rutin might be implicated repellent to cotton aphid.
