Multiple-layered vacuum swing adsorption technique was used and investigated in order to effectively keep the feed gas that flows into zeolite 13X zone being dry and keep the CAPEX down（not adding pre-treatment equipment）. Activated carbon fiber（ACF） and alumina CDX were laid at the lower parts of the column as pre-layers to selectively adsorb moisture. Zeolite 13X was laid on the top of those two adsorbents as the main layer to capture CO2. Systematic cyclic experiments show that water vapor was successfully contained within the ACF and CDX layers at cyclic steady states. It was also found that ultimate vacuum pressure played a decisive factor for stabilizing the water front, and achieving good CO2.purity and recovery. The findings also reveal the pathway for large-scale CO2.capture process.

This paper investigates the rotatability of planar parallel mechanisms by revealing the crank conditions that relate to link *** paper extends the theorem of assemblability and the rotatability criterion and applies these criteria to parallel mechanisms in investigating the crank conditions of a parallel mechanism,leading to classification of three types of crank existing conditions including three-crank’s,six-crank’s and nine-crank’s of 3-RRR planar parallel *** results are summarized as constraint conditions in relation with link parameters with a concluding table and case studies.

A polycistronic expression vector, pKGA-NTF1, was constructed for the cyanobacterium. Within this vector, the spectinomycin/streptomycin resistance gene (aadA) facilitated the selection of transformants when co-transcribed with favorite genes. A natural glnA gene was selected as the platform to introduce the plasmid into a neutral site of the Synechococcus sp. PCC 7002.chromosome. Function of the vector was demonstrated by the insertion of a modified human Trefoil factor 3 gene (NTF1) to upstream of the aadA gene and by the analyses of the transformed strains. Antibiotics resistance assays showed that the dicistronic expression cassette conferred high spectinomycin resistance to both the E. coli cells and the Synechococcus cells. PCR analysis and Western-blot analysis were carried out to confirm the integration and expression of the NTF1 gene, respectively. Through simple molecular manipulations, the artificial polycistronic structure described here can be conveniently used to express other favorable genes or operons in cyanobacteria, and to study the cyanobacterial gene expression as well.

FT-IR spectrometry, TPD and adsorption isotherms of thiophene on NaY/NiY zeolites were carried out and the diffusion coefficient was obtained by means of its real-time dynamic curves. The loading of thiophene adsorbed on the NaY zeolite decreased with an increasing temperature, which was ascribed to the patterns of physical adsorption. Both physical and chemical adsorption phenomena were detected on the NiY zeolite, with the 0 complexation and S-M interaction existing during the chemical adsorption. The loading of thiophene adsorbed on the NiY zeolite at 302.K and 335 K was equal, but it decreased at 373 K. The diffusion coefficient of thiophene on the NaY zeolite decreased when the loading increased to more than 0.02.mmol/g, and on the contrary that of thiophene on the NiY zeolite did not change obviously with the loading adsorbed.

The driving actions of rainfall-runoff process can be attributed to two aspects. The first is the influence of precipitation process, and the second is that of the ground pad. The re- search results of 179 indoor experiments conducted to imitate rainfall-runoff process indicate that both precipitation duration and intensity play important roles in affecting confluence lag time, which is obviously inconsistent with the traditional hypotheses. The nonlinear relationship is of great significance to the confluence curve especially when the precipitation duration is less than the total confluence time or the precipitation intensity is small. Therefore it can be concluded that the unit hydrograph (UH) can be applied to rainfall-runoff process imitation in the humid areas in the south china region. However, the UH application should be strictly modified in accordance with precipitation conditions in the arid and semiarid region of north china where the precipitation duration is short and the intensity is unstable. It will be hard to get ideal imitation results if the UH is applied blindly without considering specific conditions in the north china region. This also explains the unsatisfactory imitation results caused by using various hydrological models in the north china region. When the precipitation duration is short, and the watershed has not reached total watershed concentration, the characteristics of confluence change greatly, which reflects the actual situation in the north china region. Therefore necessary nonlinear corrections should be made when UH is applied. If the duration is longer than the total confluence time and the balance between pondage and discharge is stricken, the imitation research results will be applicable to both rainfall-runoff relation with longer duration in the south china region and the basic theoreti- cal research on runoff generation and concentration. The oil spill impact analysis (OSIA) software system has been developed to supply a tool for comprehensive, quantitative environmental impact assessments resulting from oil spills. In the system, a biological component evaluates potential effects on exposed organisms based on results from a physico chemical fates component, including the extent and characteristics of the surface slick, and dissolved and total concentrations of hydrocarbons in the water column. The component includes a particle based exposure model for migratory adult fish populations, a particle based exposure model for spawning planktonic organisms (eggs and larvae), and an exposure model for wildlife species (sea birds or marine mammals). The exposure model for migratory adult fish populations simulates the migration behaviors of fish populations migrating to or staying in their feeding areas, over wintering areas or spawning areas, and determines the acute effects (mortality) and chronic accumulation (body burdens) from the dissolved contaminant. The exposure model for spawning planktonic organisms simulates the release of eggs and larvae, also as particles, from specific spawning areas during the spawning period, and determines their potential exposure to contaminants in the water or sediment. The exposure model for wild species calculates the exposure to surface oil of wildlife (bird and marine mammal) categories inhabiting the contaminated area. Compared with the earlier models in which all kinds of organisms are assumed evenly and randomly distributed, the updated biological exposure models can more realistically estimate potential effects on marine ecological system from oil spill pollution events.

Based on the theories of Bernoulli-Euler beams and Vlasov's thin-walled members,a new geometrical and physical nonlinear beam element model is developed by applying an interior node in the element and independent interpolations on bending angles and warp,in which factors such as traverse shear deformation,torsional shear deformation and their coupling,coupling of flexure and torsion,and second shear stress are all ***,geometrical nonlinear strain in total Lagarange(TL) and the corresponding stiffness matrix are *** plastic model is applied to physical nonlinearity to comply with the yield rule of Von Mises and incremental relationship of *** stiffness matrix is derived by numerical integration on the basis of the finite segment *** show that the developed model is feasible in analysis of thin-walled structures with high accuracy.

In order to improve the bioavailability, Radix salvia miltiorrhiza raw powder mixed with distilled water （5.5wt%） was ultrafinely ground to nanosize particles using HSCS pulverizer, and the dissolving-out quantity of tanshinone IIA in the filtrate that obtained from nanoparticles suspension and raw powder marinated in water for different time was determined by HPLC. The experimental results show that raw powder can be ultrafinely ground to 133.5 nm at 1500 r/min for 50 min and the molecular structure of active ingredients doesnot change, and the dissolving-out quantity of tanshinone IIA obtained from the filtrate is increased greatly from 12.77 μg/g to 54.55 μg/g.

Influence of Interpenetrating Polymer Networks (IPN) Microstructure on Underwater Acoustic Stealth Performance

According to the configuration and absorption theory of polymer macromolecule materials, a kind of IPN with wider temperature range and higher damping property was designed and synthesized. By using the spectrum of dynamic mechanical thermal analysis （DMTA） and acoustic pulse tube device, the microstructure, phase separation degree, phase size and phase continuity of IPN with different components were analyzed. The experimental results show that the nano size grade of phase, the continuous and homogeneous IPN phase can provide higher absorption coefficient. The absorption coefficient of optimized sample I09 is 0.7 in 2.kHz, and the absorption peak is 0.9 in 4 kHz. Then the underwater acoustic properties of modified IPN filled with mica, micro-balloon and nano-SiO2.were discussed respectively to indicate that the inhomogeneous property of filler-modified IPN can improve the underwater acoustic stealth performance effectively, and the micro size grade of these filler-modified IPN can work well in low frequency acoustic stealth.
