The organic-inorganic layered solid catalyst Fe(bpy)_3^(2.)-laponite was ableto photode-grade Rhodamine B (RhB) by activation of dioxygen under visible irradiation (λ > 42.nm), while the homogeneous aqueous solution Fe(bpy)_3^(2.) showed no photoactivity. The catalystcould be repeatedly used and retained its reactivity. The hybrid catalyst could be separated fromthe suspension by centrifugation or sedimentation. The TOC removal yield of RhB was *** oxygen species (ROS) formed during degradation was detected by EPR. A possible mechanismwas proposed on the basis of the experimental results.

The effects of non-cyanide zincation process parameters on the microstructure of the zincation layer on A356 alloy were investigated by scanning electronic *** the increasing of zincation time,the zinc grain size and the number density increase gradually,and the zinc grains adhere each *** zinc grain obtained in the double-dipping process is finer,compacter and more homogeneous than that obtained in the single-dipping *** the increasing of the zincation temperature,the morphology of zinc grains changes from spherical shape to flake-like ***,higher zincation temperature results in the flaking off of the zincation layer from the *** optimized zincation temperature is 2.-30 ℃.The quality of the zincation layer obtained in a low concentration,non-cyanide and multi-element zincation solutions is much better than these obtained in conventional high concentration zincation solution,dilute zincation solutions or a dilute zincation solution containing *** addition,the matrix alloy and the pre-treatment also have significant influence on the morphology of the zincation layer.

As a successive and local plastic deformation process, backward ball spinning was applied for the purpose of prodacing thin-walled tubular parts with longitudinal inner ribs. According to the local plastic deformation theoo,, the application of yield criterion to the spinning process and the influence of the radial spinning force component on the formability of inner ribs were analyzed. Based on yield criterion and plastic mechanics, the stable flow rule of metal material and forming criteria of the inner ribs were obtained aad conformed to the experimental results so as to contribute greatly to improving the ball spinning process and optimizing the process variables, such as the diameter of ball, the reduction in a pass and the wall thickness of tubular blank, which have a significant influenee on the formability of the inner ribs. The knowledge of the influence of the process variables such as the diameter of ball, the reduction in a pass and the wall thickness of tubular blank on the spinning process is essential to preventing the quality defects of the spun parts and obtaining the desired spun parts.

When a Duffing oscillator is applied to signal detection, identifying its state transition is indispensable. Due to lack of an effective method for automatically distinguishing the state transition, phase analysis is extensively used. However, it needs ocular estimation to identify phase pattern corresponding to transition of Duffing oscillator. Hence it is not fit for communication signal demodulation. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a method, called circular zone partition (CZP), for partitioning trajectory on the phase plane of Duffing oscillator. First, a computing model for Duffing oscillator is described. Then, the fundamental principle and algorithm for the CZP method are discussed. Meanwhile the equation of a circular zone divider and its realization are presented. Thus, by way of the divider, the two-dimensional phase trajectory pattern of Duffing oscillator driven by an external signal can be transformed into the one-dimensional time signal, whose envelop after being filtered is able to indicate the state transition, i.e. the presence or the absence of external signal. Finally, to verify the effect of the CZP method on binary phase shifted keying (BPSK) signal demodulation, two examples are presented and simulation results show that this CZP method is accurate and valid for BPSK signal demodulation.

The organic/inorganic hybrid nanostructural vinylsilsesquioxanes (VSSO) were prepared from the hydrolytic condensation of vinyltrimethoxysilane (VMS). The proposed formu- las of VSSO were assigned with standard spectroscopic techniques, FTIR, NMR (1H, C and 13 2.Si) and MALDI-TOF MS, and a generic formula of the SSO, Tn(OH)x(OR’)y(x, y = 0, 1, 2.; n = 1, 2.; T = RSiO1.5 ?(x+y)/2.). Geometric parameters (Si-O and Si-C bond lengths, Si-O-Si and O-Si-O bond angles) and total energies of the multi-structures of VSSO were calculated by a quantum mechanical investigation and molecular symmetries. According to the results of the calculation, most molecules had stabler ladder structures than the cage isomers, therefore, the most probably reasonable and optimum structure of the VSSO system was the ladder type.

A new method for sloshing simulation in a sway tank is present, in which the two phase interface is treated as a physical discontinuity, which can be captured by a well-designed high order scheme. Based on Normalized Variable Diagram （NVD）, a high order discretization scheme with unstructured grids is realized, together with a numerical method for free surface flow with a fixed grid. This method is implemented in an in-house code General Transport Equation Analyzer （ GTEA ） which is an unstructured grids finite volume solver. The present method is first validated by available analytical solutions. A simulation for a 2.D rectangular tank at different excitation frequencies of the sway is carried out. A comparison with experimental data in literature and results obtained by commercial software CFX shows that the sloshing load on the monitor points agrees well with the experimental data, with the same grids, and the present method gives better results on the secondary peak. It is shown that the present method can simulate the free surface overturning and breakup phenomena.

This paper analyzes the influence of multi-defects including the initial distortions,welding residual stresses,cracks and local dents on the ultimate strength of the plate element,and has worked out expressions of reliability calculation and sensitivity analysis of the plate *** analysis is made for the system with multi-defects plate *** mechanism,failure paths and the calculating approach to global reliability index are also worked *** plate elements with multi-defects fail,the formula of reverse node forces which affect the residual structure is deduced,so are the sensitivity expressions of the system reliability *** ensures calculating accuracy and rationality for reliability analysis,and makes it convenient to find weakness plate elements which affect the reliability of the structure ***,for the validity of the approach proposed,we take the numerical example of a ship cabin to compare and contrast the reliability and the sensitivity analysis of the structure system with multi-defects with those of the structure system with no *** approach has implications for the structure design,rational maintenance and renewing strategy.

Morphology of zinc alloy layer,from zincate solution with zinc sulfate and zinc oxide respectively,together with the consequent deposit was observed with SEM and back scattering electron *** was applied to analyze the components of zinc alloy layer and the interface of high-Si aluminum alloy substrate-zinc ***,the surface morphology of the zincated aluminum alloy after immersing in 3.5% NaCl solution for 7 d,is observed and the corrosion rate was ***,tension test is conducted to quantify the adhesion between high-Si aluminum cast substrate and the *** results show that,the zinc oxide contained zincating solution with sodium potassium tartrate and sodium citrate is a better one in multi-metal zincating *** zinc alloy layer from this one gets stable performance,perfect adhesion with deposit,and good corrosion resistance.

Based on Donnell's shallow shell equation, a new method is given in this paper to analyze theoretical solutions of stress concentrations about cylindrical shells with large openings. With the method of complex variable function, a series' of conformal mapping functions are obtained from different cutouts' boundary curves in the developed plane of a cylindrical shell to the unit circle. And, the general expressions for the equations of a cylindrical shell, including the solutions of stress concentrations meeting the boundary conditions of the large openings' edges, are given in the mapping plane. Furthermore, by applying the orthogonal function expansion technique, the problem can be summarized into the solution of infinite algebraic equation series. Finally, numerical results are obtained for stress concentration factors at the cutout's edge with various opening's ratios and different loading conditions. This new method, at the same time, gives a possibility to the research of cylindrical shells with large non-circular openings or with nozzles.
