Archaeopteris macilenta is one of the most widespread plants in the Late *** on fossils from the Frasnian Huangjiadeng Formation,Yichang District of Hubei Province,for the first time we study in detail the anatomy of this progymnosperm plant in South *** axes are protostelic with three xylem sympodia and lack secondary *** axes are eustelic,bearing eight sympodia and a thin band of secondary *** symmetrical sympodia of mesarch primary xylem produce traces of appendages in a spiral *** macilenta and ***(***)are dominant in the Frasnian and Famennian,*** with these two species from other tectonic plates indicate consistent stelar *** spread,continuous occurrence,and identical anatomy during the Late Devonian indicate that Archaeopteris survived the Frasnian-Famennian extinction *** this time,endemic genera and cosmopolitan taxa,including Archaeopteris,suggest the palaeogeographic isolation of South c.ina and certain associations with other plates.

A machine, or other type of 'system' , can often be divided into several subsystems (components)and these subsystems again can be divided into sevreral subsystems (second generation). This process forms a system tree. To assess the reliability of the machine based on data from the trials of components of the machine, virtual system method is employed. It is proved in the paper that the lower confident limit of the reliability of the machine set by the virtual system method is level consistent and asymptotically optimal while the one set by Lindstrom-Maddens method is not.

A new architecture based on open-architecture cNc of an integrated measuring,modeling and manufacturing system is presented. A 3-axis vertical milling structure is used to achieve the manufacturing function. And a computer vision camera is to be set up on the holder of the milling machine to capture the images of the work-piece and a image data acquisition card is used to translate the image data to the control computer,which acts as the measuring subsystem. Through processing the image data the model of the work-piece is established which plays the role of modeling subsystem. A motion control card is inserted into an industry computer to construct an open cNc system of the type of Nc embedded Pc which is more sophisticated than other new technologies on open cNc. The embedded motion card burdens the real-time tasks of the system and the IPc does the other management and planning tasks. The IPc together with the motion control card command the three axes of the system to accomplish the manufacturing and measuring functions and further the modeling function.

In this paper, the authors establish the atomic decompositions of these spaces. As by-products, the authors obtained the regularity on these spaces of the solutions to the Dirichlet problem and the Neumann problem of the Laplace equation on R+n.

Vesignieite, cu_3Ba(VO_4)_2.OH)_2. crystallizes in space group c_2./ m with a°=1.02.0(2., b°=0.5911(1),c°=0.7711(2.nm and β=116.42.3)°. The intensity data were collected with the RIGAKU RASA-IISsingle-crystal four-circle diffractometer. The structure was determined by Patterson and Fourier methods andrefined by the least-square technique to a final R index of 0.051 for 614 independent diffraction points with|F? |>3σ|F?|. The crystal structure analysis shows that vesignieite has a layer structure parallel to (001). The powder diffraction lines were reindexed.
