The continental volcanic rocks and volcaniclas-tic sedimentary conglomerates of the Cangshuipu Formation occur well in Yiyang of Hunan Province, consisting of a wedge-shaped succession of Neoproterozoic strata that over-lie with high-angle unconformity the flysch turbidites of the Lengjiaxi Group in the Upper Mesoproterozoic Eonothem. shrimp zircon U-Pb dating gives a weighted mean age of 814 12.Ma for the dacitic volcanic agglomerates from the lowest part of the volcanic rocks in the Cangshuipu Forma-tion. This age is younger than previously reported values of 92.—933 Ma for the volcanic rocks from the Cangshuipu Formation. Our new dating represents the lower boundary age of the Neoproterozoic System in the studied area. The younger age for the Cangshuipu volcanic rocks is supported by the following observations: （1） Lower Neoproterozoic strata （814—1000 Ma） are missing in the studied area; （2. the Nanhua rift system was initiated at about 82. Ma; and （3） an age of82. Ma may be taken as the lower boundary tim-ing of the Nanhua System （even Neoproterozoic） in South china.

The shrimp U-Pb ages of detrital zircon from the oldest Mesozoic strata, the Fanghushan Fomation, in the Hefei Basin range from 2.0 Ma to ca. 2.00 Ma, which indicates that the Dabie Orogen as the early Jurassic sedimentary provenance was complex. The composition of the Dabie Orogen includes: the Triassic high pressure-ultrahigh pressure metamorphic rocks, of which the detrital zircon ages are from 2.4 Ma to 2.0 Ma; the rocks possibly related to the Qinling and Erlangping Groups representing the southern margin of the Sino-Korean craton in the Qinling and Dabie area, of which the detrital zircon has an age of 481-378 Ma; the Neoproterozoic rocks originated from the Yangtze croton, of which the detrital zircon ages are 799-72. Ma old; and the rocks with the detrital zircon ages of ca. 2.00 Ma and ca. 2.00 Ma, which could be the old basement of the Yangtze craton.

A suite of slightly metamorphosed Carboniferous sedimentary strata occurs in the northern margin of the Dabie Mountains, central *** consists,in ascending order,of the upper Huayuanqiang Formation(C),the Yangshan Formation(C),the Daorenchong Formation(C),the most widely distributed Huyoufang Formation(C) and the Yangxiaozhuang Formation (C).The provenance of the Carboniferous sedimentary rocks is constrained by the integration of trace elements,detrital mineral chemistry and sensitive high resolution ion microprobe(shrimp) dating of detrital zircons,which can help to understand the connection between the provenance and the Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the Qinling-Dabie *** trace element compositions indicate that the source terrain was probably a continental island *** tourmalines were mainly derived from aluminous and Al-poor metapelites and metapsammites,and some are sourced from Li-poor granitoids, pegmatites and *** garnets,found only in the uppermost Huyoufang Formation,are almandine and Mn-almandine garnets,indicating probable sources mainly from garnetiferous schists,and partly from granitoid *** detrital white Kmicas are muscovitic in the Huayuanqiang,Daorenchong and Huyoufang Formations,and phengitic with Si contents(p.f.u.) from 3.2. up to max.3.47-3.53 in the uppermost Huyoufang and the Yangxiaozhuang Formations,a meta-sedimentary source. LA-ICP-MS and shrimp U-Pb dating of zircons from orthogneisses and amphibolite from the Central Zone of the Kunlun Orogen is reported in this paper. One orthogneiss sample has metamorphic zircons yielding weighted average 2.6Pb/2.8U age of 517.0 +5.0/-6.0 Ma, and the other orthogneiss sample con- tains zircons with inherited magmatic cores giving three population 2.7Pb/2.6Pb ages of 955 Ma, 895 Ma and 657 Ma for the magmatic protolith, and metamorphic recrystallized rims with peak 2.6Pb/2.8U ages of 559 +12.?17 Ma and 516 ± 13 Ma. The amphibolite yielded three populations of weighted average 2.6Pb/2.8U age of 482.0 +10/?8.0 Ma, 516.2.± 5.8 Ma and 549 ± 10 Ma for the metamorphic zircons. These dating results recorded the tectonothermal events that occurred in the early Paleozoic and the Pre- cambrian time. The records of the Cambrian magmatic-metamorphic event in the Qinling Orogen, the Altyn Tagh belt, north margin of the Qaidam Block and the Kunlun Orogen suggest that continental assembly probably occurred in the early evolutionary history of the Proto-Tethys.

在对华北克拉通太古宙基底作简要介绍的基础上,本文总结了华北克拉通新太古代晚期(主要为2.55~2.5 Ga期间)岩浆岩的锆石年龄分布模式、地球化学和Nd-Hf-O同位素组成特征。华北克拉通新太古代晚期变质基底的主要特征如下:(1)新太古代晚期岩石在华北克拉通广泛分布,但许多地区都存在中太古代晚期—新太古代早期地质记录。(2.岩浆锆石年龄主要变化于2.55~2.5 Ga,年龄峰值约为2.52.Ga。(3)与新太古代早期以前(>2.6 Ga)的英云闪长岩-奥长花岗岩-花岗闪长岩(TTG)相比,新太古代晚期英云闪长岩和花岗闪长岩比例明显增大。富钾花岗岩、闪长-辉长岩(包括闪长岩、辉长岩及两者之间过渡岩石)、赞岐岩(Sanukite,主体为富镁闪长岩)分布范围和规模也明显增大。大规模富钾花岗岩主要分布于华北克拉通东部,构成新太古代晚期双岩浆岩带的富钾花岗岩带。(4)在新太古代晚期变质基底分布区,几乎都有变质表壳岩存在。它们以较小规模存在于TTG和富钾花岗岩中。岩石类型包括变玄武质岩石、变质安山质-英安质火山岩/火山碎屑岩和变质碎屑沉积岩。一些地区存在变质超基性岩。(5)总体上,新太古代晚期地质事件存在如下演化规律:首先是表壳岩形成,然后是TTG侵入,最后是变质变形和富钾花岗岩形成。2.6~2.55 Ga为华北克拉通岩浆构造的“寂静期”。(6)新太古代晚期TTG岩石的Sr/Y和La/Yb比值存在很大变化,中-高压TTG岩石大量形成表明新太古代晚期陆壳规模、厚度发生了明显增大。至少部分富钾花岗岩在形成过程中有沉积物参与。(7)不同类型TTG岩石具有类似的全岩Nd同位素和岩浆锆石Hf同位素组成,Nd-Hf同位素亏损地幔模式年龄主要分布在3.0~2.5 Ga,与中太古代晚期—新太古代早期岩石的模式年龄相近或稍偏年轻。富钾花岗岩Nd-Hf同位素组成特征受物源区早期形成演化历史制约。岩浆锆石O同位素组成与全球太古宙岩浆锆石类似,但显示更大的变化范围。结合其他研究,上述证据表明:(1)中太古代晚期—新太古代早期是华北克拉通陆壳增生最重要时期,这与全球其他许多克拉通类似,不同之处在于华北克拉通遭受了新太古代晚期构造岩浆热事件强烈改造;(2.在华北克拉通,类似于现代板块运动的构造体制在新太古代晚期开始启动;(3)规模最大的BIF(条带状铁建造)沿华北克拉通东部古老陆块西缘的双岩浆岩带分布,鞍本和冀东之间、冀东和鲁西之间是BIF找矿重要靶区;(4)华北克拉通在新太古代晚期完成初始克拉通化。

Archean Basement and a Paleoproterozoic Collision Orogen in the Huoqiu Area at the Southeastern Margin of North china Craton: Evidence from Sensitive High Resolution Ion Micro-Probe U-Pb Zircon Geochronology

This paper reports sensitive high resolution ion micro-probe U-Pb zircon ages for the ＂Huoqiu Group＂ and granitoids of the Early Precambrian basement in the Huoqiu area, southeastern margin of the North china Craton. The ＂Huoqiu Group＂ is similar in rock association and metamorphism to the khondalite series, apart from it containing considerable amounts of banded iron formation. All detrital zircons from the ＂Huoqiu Group＂ meta-sedimentary rocks are 3.0 Ga and 2.75 Ga, without any 2.5 Ga and younger ones, as is commonly found in Paleoproterozoic khondalite series in other areas of the North china Craton. In the Huoqiu area, 2.75 Ga and 2.56 Ga granitoids have also been identified. This basement assemblage underwent strong metamorphism during the late Paleoproterozoic （-1.84 Ga） tectonothermal event that is widely developed in the North china Craton. Thus the formation time of the ＂Huoqiu Group＂ can be constrained between 2.75 and 1.84 Ga in terms of detrital and metamorphic zircon ages. It is considered, combined with regional data, that there may be a Paleoproterozoic collision orogen extending in a NWW-SEE direction to the southern margin of the North china Craton.

A 100～500m\|wide mylonite zone in the Altun Group of Lower Proterozoic age was discovered along the Altyn Tagh strike\|slip fault. The zone is mainly composed of amphibolitic and granitic mylonites. The planar joints of the rocks strike in NE70 and dip steeply (nearly vertical), coincident with the striking of Altyn Tagh fault zone, and their stretched lineations are nearly horizontal. Shear strains are well developed and show sinistral sheared. The amphibolitic and granitic mylonites are most probably the products of deep\|seated melting caused by sinistral strike\|slip shearing as suggested by the evidence below: (1) The migmatization is intensely developed and spatially controlled by the shear zone, and the rock has a set of NNE perspective foliation which is in accord with the direction of the Altyn Tagh strike\|slip fault zone. (2. The recrystallized hornblende aggregate is distributed in band with obvious nebulous texture, indicating the characteristics of anatexis, and the hornblendes are oriented and form the nearly horizontal stretching lineation; some hornblendes have titanite inclusions, and magmatic long\|columnar zircons are in directional arrangement.(3) The banded felsic material is developed, and the plagioclase is characteristic of high\|temperature plastic deformation and shows sinistral shear stain. (4) In mylonites, all the axis C fabric of quartz shows the feature of sinistral shearing and the majority is generally middle to low temperature fabric, but there also exists high temperature fabric, which suggests that high temperature shearing occur in the early stage of strike\|slip deformation and it is characterized by middle to low temperature shearing at the beginning of anatexis or in the late stage of the deformation. (5) On the XZ plane of mylonite and mylonitized rocks, there exists the consistent sinistral shear stain, which suggests the products of the same strike\|slip *** were separated from three samples of mylonitized gra

The Lomagundi-Jatuli Event（LJE） is one of the largest and earliest positive carbon isotope excursions preserving δ^（13）C_（carb） values between ＋5 and ＋16‰ in Paleoproterozoic carbonates worldwide. However, the duration, amplitude and patterns of these excursions remain poorly constrained. The 2.14-1.83 Ga Hutuo Group in the North china Craton is a 〉10 km thick volcano-sedimentary sequence, including 〉5 km thick well-preserved carbonates that were deposited in supra-tidal to sub-tidal environments. C-O isotopic and elemental analyses of 152.least altered samples of the carbonates revealed a three-stage δ^（13）C evolution. It began with an exclusively positive δ^（13）C_（carb）（＋1.3 to ＋ 3.4‰） stage in the ~2.1 Ga carbonate in the Dashiling and Qingshicun Formations, followed by a transition from positive values to oscillating positive and negative values in ~3 000 m thick carbonates of the Wenshan, Hebiancun, Jianancun, and Daguandong Formations, and end with exclusively negative δ^（13）C_（carb） values preserved in 〉 500 m thick dolostones of the Huaiyincun and Beidaxing Formations. It appears that much of the LJE, particularly those extremely positive δ^（13）C_（carb） signals, was not recorded in the Hutuo carbonates. The exclusively positive δ^（13）C_（carb） values（＋1.3 to ＋ 3.4‰） preserved in the lower formations likely correspond to the end of the LJE, whereas the subsequent two stages reflect the aftermath of the LJE and the onset of Shunga-Francevillian event（SFE）. The present data point to an increased influence of oxygen on the carbon cycle from the Doucun to the Dongye Subgroups and demonstrate that the termination of the LJE in the North china Craton is nearly simultaneous with those in Fennoscandia and South Africa.

Using the reported new U-Pb age with the Sensitive High-Resolution Ion Microprobe （shrimp Ⅱ）, zircon U-Pb ages were obtained from two samples of K-feldspar felsic paragneiss and K-feldspar gneissoid trondhjemite on the southern margin of the Taihang Mountains in the North china Craton. The protolith of the K-feldspar felsic paragneiss is argillaceous-sandy clastic sedimentary rock, probably deposited in the Neoarchean. Most of the detritus zircons show heavy loss of Pb. Five spots of zircons near the upper point, yield a weighted mean ^2.7Pb/^2.6Pb age of 3399±8 Ma, representing an age of the sedimentary source. Two groups of zircons from the K-feldspar gneissoid trondhjemite give weighted mean ^2.7Pb/^2.6Pb ages of 2.11±13 Ma and 2.35±16 Ma respectively. The former represents the emplacement time of the pluton, while the latter is interpreted as the age of the inherited zircons. The new data support that the Archean geological body in the central zone has an affinity with those from the eastern block of the North china Craton.
