Weathered Mantle Hosted Gold Deposit atShewushan, Hubei, Central china

A supergene gold deposit is located at Shewushan, south Hubei, Central china. The Au mass fraction of the supergene deposits ranges from 1.0.10-6 to 19.5 10-6, with an average of about 2.2.10-6. Primary gold mineralization is closely associated with the well developed faults and fractures mainly on the crest of the reverse anticline with gold mass fraction exceeding1.0 X 10-6(average 0.6 X 10-6 ), the gold occurs as small Ag-bearing particles in association with illite and kaolinite, and partly incorporated within the lattice of pyrite. Fluid inclusion studies on the gold mineralization yield trapping temperatures and pressures from 110 to 2.0 and 4.0 105 to 4.0 105 pa, respectively. The salinities of mineralization fluids range from 2. 6 % to 8. 4.% w(NaCl, equivalent). Calculated (18O) values and measured (D) data of the hypogene fluids indicate a meteoric origin. These fluids underwent extreme 18 O enrichment by reacting with country carbonate rock. Supergene gold minerali- zation is confined largely to the lower portion at the weathered mantle; the gold occurs as small native gold particles accompanied by clay minerals, kaolinite and illite and Mn and Fe oxides. Geochemical investigation shows that Au, together with As and Sb, decreases progressively from the top of ore body to some 2.kilometers away and define a lateral dispersion halo. It is proposed that the gold is mobilized by surficial leaching and concentrated at the lower portion of the weathering profile, and thio-sulfate may play an active role in gold dissolution and re-precipitation.

Fluorescence response of hypocrellin B to the environmental changes in a mimic biological membrane——liposome

Liposome is well known as not only a drug-delivery system but also a simple model for biological membranes. It was reported that fluorescence properties of hypocrellins were changeable over some extreme pH values. In the current work, the effects of the microenvironments on the fluorescence properties of HB in liposome, including approximately physiological range of pH values pH = 6.0-8.0, concentration of cholesterols and ionic strength of the solution, were studied. It was found that the fluorescence intensity of HB was sensitive to and also regulated by the microenvironments. When concentration of cholesterols and ionic strength keep invariable in PBS solution, there exists the maximum for the fluorescence of HB-liposome at pH 7.4.while the minimum for that of HB at pH 7.0. In addition, when pH value keeps constant (7.2., there exists the maximum at the ionic strength of 0.12.mol/kg while that at the concentration of 6×10?4.mol/L for cholesterols. On the other hand, in PBS solution, the lower the ionic strength is, the higher the fluorescence intensity is. The environment-sensitive fluorescence may be potentially applicable to probe some specific environmental features in cells or tissues.

Fractal Characteristics of Coal Pores Based on Classic Geometry and Thermodynamics Models

To better understand the characteristics of coal pores and their influence on coal reservoirs, coal pores in eight main coalfields of North china were analyzed by mercury porosimetry and scanning electron microscopy（SEM）.Fractal characteristics of coal pores（size distribution and structure） were researched using two fractal models:classic geometry and *** two models establish the relationship between fractal dimensions and coal pores *** results include:（1） SEM imaging and fractal analysis show that coal reservoirs generally have very high heterogeneity;（2. coal pore structures have fractal characteristics and fractal dimensions characteristic of pore structures are controlled by the composition（e.g.,ash,moisture,volatile component） and pore parameters（e.g.,pore diameter,micro pores content） of coals;（3） the fractal dimensions（D;and D;） of coal pores have good correlations with the heterogeneity of coal pore *** fractal dimensions correlate to higher heterogeneity of pore *** fractal dimensions（D;and D;） have strong negative linear correlations with the sorted coefficient of coals （R;=0.719 and 0.639,respectively） that shows the heterogeneity of coal pores;（4. fractal dimension D;and petrologic permeability of coals have a strong negative exponential correlation（R;=0.82..However, fractal dimension D;and petrologic permeability of coals have no obvious correlation;and（5） the model of classic geometry is more accurate for fractal characterization of coal pores in coal reservoirs than that of thermodynamics by optimization.

A new method for mining deformation monitoring with GPS-RTK

Based on ranging intersection theory, a new method which is simple and easy to operate was proposed for data collection in the mine surface deformation monitoring with GPS-RTK centering rod measurements. It can fully eliminate the inevitable shaking error and the vertical deflection, and to some extent weaken the multipath effect on the estimates of coordinates in a relatively short period of time, using high-frequency observations. The results show that three-dimensional coordinates with a height accuracy better than 1 cm, horizontal accuracy better than 2.4.cm can be achieved through only 15-30 s continuous observation by 2. Hz high-frequency and effectively improve the measurement accuracy and efficiency of RTK, fully satisfying the high-speed and high-precision data acquisition in mine surface subsidence deformation monitoring.

Aim:The objectives of this study were to investigate the inhibitory action ofverapamil on wild-type（WT） and mutation HERG K+channel current (IHERG),andto determine whether mutations in the $6 region are important for the inhibition ofIHERGby ***:HERG channels （WT,Y652.,and F656A） wereexpressed in oocytes of Xenopus laevis and studied using the 2.electrode volt-age-clamp ***:WT HERG is blocked in a concentration-depen-dent manner by verapamil (half-maximal inhibition concentration [IC50]=5.1 μmol/L),and the steady state activation and inactivation parameters are shifted to morenegative ***,mutation to Ala of Y652.and F656 located on the S6domain produced 16-fold and 2.-fold increases in IC50for IHERGblockade,***,the steady state activation and inactivation para-meters for Y652. are also shifted to more negative values in the presence of ***:Verapamil preferentially binds to and blocks open ***-652.and Phe-656,2.aromatic amino-acid residues in the inner （S6）helix,are critical in the verapamil-binding site.

The SHRIMP zircon U-Pb geochronology of three typical samples, including two monzo nitic granites from the Lincang batholith and a rhyolite from the Manghuai Formation are presented in the southern Lancangjiang, western Yunnan Province. The analyses of zircons for the biotite monzonitic granites from the northern (02.X-137) and southern (2.JH-10) Lincang batholith show the single and tight clusters on the concordia, and yield the weighted mean 2.6Pb/2.8U ages of 2.9.4.± 3.0 Ma and 2.0.4.± 3.6 Ma, respectively, representing the crystallized ages of these granites. The zircons for the rhyolitic sample (02.X-95) from the Manghuai Formation give a weighted mean 2.6Pb/2.8U age of 2.1.0 ± 5.0 Ma. These data suggest that the igneous rocks from the Lincang granitic batholith and Manghuai Formation have a similar crystallized age. In combination with other data, it is inferred that both were generated at a narrow age span (~2.0 Ma) and were originated from the postcollisional tectonic regime. An early Proterozoic 2.6Pb/2.8U apparent age of 1977±4. Ma is additionally obtained from one zircon from the biotite monzonitic granite (southern Lincang batholith), indicative of devel- opment of the early Proterozoic Yangtze basement in the region. These precisely geochronological data provide important constraints on better understanding the Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the Tethys, western Yunnan Province.

Although many numerical clustering algorithms have been applied to gene expression dataanalysis,the essential step is still biological interpretation by manual *** correlation betweengenetic co-regulation and affiliation to a common biological process is what biologists ***,weintroduce some clustering algorithms that are based on graph structure constituted by biological *** applying a widely used dataset,we compared the result clusters of two of these algorithms in terms ofthe homogeneity of clusters and coherence of annotation and matching *** results show that theclusters of knowledge-guided analysis are the kernel parts of the clusters of Gene Ontology (GO)-Clustersoftware,which contains the genes that are most expression correlative and most consistent with ***,knowledge-guided analysis seems much more applicable than GO-Cluster in a largerdataset.
