Dynamic program slicing is an effective technique for narrowing the errors to the relevant parts of a program when debugging. Given a slicing criterion, the dynamic slice contains only those statements that actually affect the variables in the slicing criterion. This paper proposes a dynamic slicing method based on static dependence analysis. It uses the program dependence graph and other static information to reduce the information needed to be traced during program execution. Thus, the efficiency is dramatically improved while the precision is not depressed. The slicing criterion is modified to fit for debugging. It consists of file name and the line number at which the statement is.

Two-dimensional thermoelasticity analysis of functionally graded thick beams is presented using the state space method coupled with the technique of differential quadrature. Material properties vary continuously and smoothly through the beam thickness, leading to variable coefficients in the state equation derived from the elasticity equations. Approximate laminate model is employed to translate the state equation into the one with constant coefficients in each layer. To avoid numerical instability, joint coupling matrices are introduced according to the continuity conditions at interfaces in the approximate model. The differential quadrature procedure is applied to discretizing the beam in the axial direction to make easy the treatment of arbitrary end conditions. A simply-supported beam with exponentially varying material properties is considered to validate the present method. Numerical examples are performed to investigate the influences of relative parameters.

The cDNA of growth hormone receptor (GHR) was cloned from the liver of 2.year common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and rapid amplification of cDNA end (RACE). Its open reading frame (ORF) of 1806 nucleotides is translated into a putative peptide of 602.amino acids, including an extracellular ligand-binding domain of 2.4 amino acids (aa), a single transmembrane domain of 2. aa and an intracellular signal-transduction domain of 334 aa. Sequence analysis indicated that common carp GHR is highly homologous to goldfish (Carassius auratus) GHR at both gene and protein levels. Using a pair of gene-specific primers, a GHR fragment was amplified from the cDNA of 2.year common carp, a 2.4 bp product was identified in liver and a 32. bp product in other tissues. The sequencing of the products and the partial genomic DNA indicated that the difference in product size was the result of a 97 bp intron that alternatively spliced. In addition, the 32. bp fragment could be amplified from all the tissues of 4-month common carp including liver, demonstrating the occurrence of the alternative splicing of this intron during the development of common carp. Moreover, a semi-quantitative RT-PCR was performed to analyze the expression level of GHR in tissues of 2.year common carp and 4-month common carp. The result revealed that in the tissues of gill, thymus and brain, the expression level of GHR in 2.year common carp was significantly lower than that of 4-month common carp.

In order to improve the bioavailability, Radix salvia miltiorrhiza raw powder mixed with distilled water （5.5wt%） was ultrafinely ground to nanosize particles using HSCS pulverizer, and the dissolving-out quantity of tanshinone IIA in the filtrate that obtained from nanoparticles suspension and raw powder marinated in water for different time was determined by HPLC. The experimental results show that raw powder can be ultrafinely ground to 133.5 nm at 1500 r/min for 50 min and the molecular structure of active ingredients doesnot change, and the dissolving-out quantity of tanshinone IIA obtained from the filtrate is increased greatly from 12.77 μg/g to 54.55 μg/g.

A fast algorithm is proposed to solve a kind of high complexity multi-objective problems in this paper. It takes advantages of both the orthogonal design method to search evenly, and the statistical optimal method to speed up the computation. It is very suitable for solving high complexity problems, and quickly yields solutions which converge to the Pareto-optimal set with high precision and uniform distribution. Some complicated multi-objective problems are solved by the algorithm and the results show that the algorithm is not only fast but also superior to other MOGAS and MOEAs, such as the currently efficient algorithm SPEA, in terms of the precision, quantity and distribution of solutions.

Polymer photovoltaic devices based on poly (2. methoxy-5-(2. -ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene) (MEH- PPV) with three weight-average molecular weights (Mw) have been fabricated with the device structure of ITO/PEDOT/ MEH-PPV/Ca/Ag, and the effect of the molecular weight on photovoltaic properties has been investigated. The experi- mental results show that the high molecular weight of MEH- PPV leads to low series resistance (Rs) and high short-circuit current. The low molecular weight of MEH-PPV leads to high shunt resistance (Rsh) and high open-circuit voltage. When the molecular weight is 6×105, the highest power con- version efficiency was observed.

In the Songpan-Garze fold belt of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, an Indosinian lithospheric delamination model has been proposed, based on previous investigation of widespread granitoids. However, this model lacks comparable information from volcanism in the area. During the Indosinian delamination in the Songpan-Garze fold belt, whether partial melting of litho- spheric mantle taken place is debated. This paper reports U-Pb zircon LA-ICP-MS ages, geochemical and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopic compositions from the Aba and Wasai calc-alkaline volcanic rocks in the central Songpan-Garze fold belt. Obtained magma crystallization ages are 2.0±3 Ma for the Aba andesite and 2.5±1 Ma for the Wasai andesite. These are consistent with magma crystallization ages of the late Indosinian granitoids in the Songpan-Garze fold belt that formed in a post-collisional tectonic setting. The Aba and Wasai andesites have distinct geochemical singnatures. The former has higher Al2.3, K2., Rb but lower Na2., Ba and Sr contents, suggesting differences in their magmatic evolution. The Aba andesites have ISr values of 0.7070-0.7076 and εNd(t) values of -3.9 to -5.3, and the Wasai andesites have ISr values of 0.7075-0.7077 and εNd(t) values of -3.6 to -3.9. Zircons show εHf(t) values of -3.7 to 0.3 for the Aba andesites and -2.7 to 5.5 for the Wasai andesites. Geochemical and Sr-Nd-Hf isotopic compositions indicate that fractional crystallization and crustal assimilation processes are not key roles for their magma evolution, implying that their chemical compositions are those of primary melts. We suggest that the magma of the Aba andesites originated predominantly from a crustal source, with a minor mantle-derived component. The source region of the magma was likely at the crust-mantle boundary. The magma of the Wasai andesites resulted from partial melting of lithospheric mantle, which was probably metasomatized by fluids so that it was amphibole bearing. Growth of Carbon Encapsulated Long Nickel Nanorods on Bulk Nickel Substrate

Carbon nanotube encapsulated nickel nanorods were catalytic grown via pyrolysis of oil on a bulk nickel wire substrate. X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy were employed to characterize the as-prepared sample. The results show that, carbon nanotubes possess several microns in length, the filled metallic nickel nanorods with a uniform diameter of 35 nm were tightly encapsulated by the carbon capsules. The detailed formation mechanism for the carbon nanotubes encapsulated nickel nanorods were discussed briefly.
