An algorithm, Clustering Algorithm Based On Sparse Feature Vector (CABOSFV),was proposed for the high dimensional clustering of binary sparse data. This algorithm compressesthe data effectively by using a tool 'Sparse Feature Vector', thus reduces the data scaleenormously, and can get the clustering result with only one data scan. Both theoretical analysis andempirical tests showed that CABOSFV is of low computational complexity. The algorithm findsclusters in high dimensional large datasets efficiently and handles noise effectively.

To compare the results obtained under both natural and accelerated environments,the pH values of carbonated concrete were measured,the variation of pH values was determined,and the variations of Ca（OH）2.and CaCO3 contents in the carbonated concrete under natural condition and high CO2.concentration accelerated climate environments were determined by microcosmic test methods such as DTA and X-ray *** experimental results showed that the overall variation trend of pH values and phase component of carbonation layer of concrete under accelerated climate environments with high CO2.concentrations were the same as those under natural ***,the carbonation processes of concrete were considered consistent under both *** there was a difference in the length of semi-carbonation *** one measured under high CO2.concentration accelerated climate environments was shorter than that under natural *** investigation showed that it was caused by the differences in climate condition（temperature and relative humidity） as well as the properties of the *** concentration of CO2.and the duration of the carbonation process have no effect on the length of semi-carbonation ***,it is acceptable to simulate the natural condition by applying the high CO2.concentration artificial accelerated carbonation technique for the purpose of the study of carbonation process of concrete.

There have been many skewed cancer gene expression datasets in the post-genomic era. Extraction of differential expression genes or construction of decision rules using these skewed datasets by traditional algorithms will seriously underestimate the performance of the minority class, leading to inaccurate diagnosis in clinical trails. This paper presents a skewed gene selection algorithm that introduces a weighted metric into the gene selection procedure. The extracted genes are paired as decision rules to distinguish both classes, with these decision rules then integrated into an ensemble learning framework by majority voting to recognize test examples; thus avoiding tedious data normalization and classifier construction. The mining and integrating of a few reliable decision rules gave higher or at least comparable classification performance than many traditional class imbalance learning algorithms on four benchmark imbalanced cancer gene expression datasets.

With the increase in mining depth, mine heat harm has appeared to be more prominent. The mine heat harm could be resolvedor reduced by ice refrigeration. Thus, ice transportation through pipeline becomes a critical problem; typically flowresistance occurs in the elbow. In the present study, according to the analysis of the surface morphology of fish scale, abiomimetic functional surface structure for the interior wall of elbow is designed. Based on the theory of liquid-solid two phaseflow, a CFD numerical simulation of ice-water mixture flowing through the elbow is carried out using finite element *** experiments of pressure drop and flow resistance for both bionic and common elbows are conducted to test theeffect of the bionic elbow on flow resistance reduction. It is found that with the increase in the ice mass fraction in the ice-watermixture, the effect of bionic elbow on resistance reduction becomes more obvious.

Given that fretting wear causes failure in steel wires, we carried out tangential fretting wear tests of steel wires on a self-made fretting wear test rig under contact loads of 9 and 2. N and fretting amplitudes ranging from 5 to 180 μm. We observed morphologies of fretted steel wire surfaces on an S-3000N scanning electron microscope in order to analyze fretting wear mecha-nisms. The results show that the fretting regime of steel wires transforms from partial slip regime into mixed fretting regime and gross slip regime with an increase in fretting amplitudes under a given contact load. In partial slip regime, the friction coefficient has a relatively low value. Four stages can be defined in mixed fretting and gross slip regimes. The fretting wear of steel wires in-creases obviously with increases in fretting amplitudes. Fretting scars present a typical morphology of annularity, showing slight damage in partial slip regime. However, wear clearly increases in mixed fretting regime where wear mechanism is a combination of plastic deformation, abrasive wear and oxidative wear. In gross slip regime, more severe degradation is present than in the other regimes. The main fretting wear mechanisms of steel wires are abrasive wear, surface fatigue and friction oxidation.

Microporous titanium carbide coating was successfully synthesized on medical grade titanium alloy by using sequential *** in the surface morphology of titanium alloy occasioned by sequential carburization were characterized and the wettability characteristics were ***,the dispersion forces were calculated and *** results indicate that sequential carburization is an effective way to modify the wettability of titanium *** the carburization the surface dispersion force of titanium alloy increased from 76.5×10^(-3)J·m^(-2. to 105.5×10^(-3) J·m^(-2.,with an enhancement of 37.9 %.Meanwhile the contact angle of titanium alloy decreased from 83° to 71.5°,indicating a significant improvement of wettability,which is much closer to the optimal water contact angle for cell adhesion of 70°.

Flue gas pollution is a serious environmental problem that needs to be solved for the sustainable development of *** surface chemical properties of carbon have great influence on its desulphurization performance.A series of activated carbons (ACs) were prepared using HNO3,H2.2.NH3·H2. and steam as activation agents with the aim to introduce functional groups to carbon surface in the ACs preparation *** ACs were physically and chemically characterized by iodine and SO2.adsorption,ultimate analysis,Boehm titration,and temperature-programmed reduction (TPR).Results showed that the iodine number and desulphurization capacity of NH3·H2. activated carbon (AC-NH3) increase with both activation time,and its desulphurization capacity also increases with the concentration of activation ***,HNO3 activated carbon (AC-HNO3) and H2.2.activated carbon (AC-H2.2. exhibit more complex *** their iodine numbers increase monotonously with activation *** with steam activated AC (AC-H2.),the nitrogen content increases 0.2.2. in AC-NH3 and 0.077% in *** amount of total basic site on AC-HNO3 is 0.19 mmol·g-1 higher than that on AC-H2..H2.2.activation introduces an additional 0.08 mmol·g-1 carboxyl groups to AC surface than that introduced by steam *** desulphurization capacity of ACs in simulate flue gas desulphurization decreases as follows: AC-NH3 > AC-HNO3 > AC-H2.2.> *** sequence is in accord with the SO2.catalytic oxidation/oxidation ratio in the absence of oxygen and the oxidation property reflected by *** the presence of oxygen,all adsorbed SO2.on ACs can be oxidized into *** desulphurization capacity increases differently according to the activation agents;the desulphurization capacity of AC-NH3 and AC-HNO3 improves by 4.8 times,yet AC-H2. increases only by 2.62.as compared with the desulphurization of corresponding ACs in absence of oxygen.
