Taking one-dimensional shallow water wave equation as an example, a comparative analysis on the computational stability related to the short-range motion of atmosphere and ocean is carried out for the conservative and nonconservative scheme, and it is pointed out that the computational stability of conservative scheme is absolutely different from that of the nonconservative scheme. The relationship between the short-range motion of atmosphere and ocean and the conservative and nonconservative scheme is further discussed. The constructed conservative scheme is proved to be stable by the numerical experiment for the short-range motion of atmosphere and ocean while the CTCS scheme is unstable. So that the conservative scheme for the solution of this kind of problem has more advantages.

This paper investigates the nonlinear dynamics of network-based dynamical systems where network communication channels of finite data rates are inserted into the closed loops of the control systems. The authors analyze the bifurcation and chaotic behavior of the non-smooth dynamical systems. The authors first prove that for almost all system parameters there are no periodic orbits. This result distinguishes this type of non-smooth dynamical systems from many others exhibiting border-collision bifurcations. Next, the authors show analytically that the chaotic sets are separated from the region containing the line segment of all fixed points with a finite distance. Finally, the authors employ a simple model to highlight that both the number of clients sharing a common network channel and fluctuations in the available network bandwidth have significant influence on the performance of such dynamical systems.

Cenozoic sediments in the foreland basin——Jiuquan Basin in west Hexi Corridor recorded tectonic uplift information of the Qilian Mountains. High resolution paleomagnetic dating of the Laojunmiao （LJM） section across the central LJM anticline in the southern Jiuquan Basin reveals ages of the Getanggou Member, Niugetao Member in the Shulehe Formation, the Yumen Conglomerate, Jiuquan Conglomerate and Gobi Formation at >13.8.3.Ma, 8.3.4.9 Ma, 3.66― 0.93.Ma, 0.84―0.14 Ma and 0.14―0 Ma, respectively. Sedimentary evolution study suggests that the Qilian Mountains should begin to rise gradually since8―6.6 Ma, accompanied by sedimentary environments changing from lacustrine mudstones-sandstones to alluvial conglom- erates. Rapid uplift of the Qilian Mountains began at3.66 Ma, followed by a series of stepwise or intermittent intensive uplifts at about 2. Ma, 0.93.0.84 Ma and 0.14 Ma, which finally resulted in the present high Qilian Mountains.

BACKGROUND: Patients with decompensated hepatitis B vires (HBV)-related cirrhosis tend to have low or undetectable HBV replication. However, some patients continue to have high levels of HBV replication and effective suppression of HBV replication with antiviral agents may potentially decrease hepatic necroinflammation and improve or stabilize liver function. This review was to under stand the efficacy and safety of lamivudine in the treatment of decompensated HBV cirrhosis. DATA SOURCES: An English-language literature search (MEDLINE January 1988-July 2.05) was performed, and a total of 52.articles/abstracts relevant to the issue were selected. After review of the selected papers, the meaningful results and conclusions were extracted using scientific crite ria. The papers reviewed pertained mainly to the efficacy and safety profiles of lamivudine treatment for decompensated HBV cirrhosis. RESULTS: The ultimate treatment of decompensated HBV cirrhosis is liver transplantation, but lamivudine treatment may lead to rapid suppression of viral replication and improvement of biochemical and clinical parameters, reduced morbidity and hospitalization for complications of liver disease, increased pre-transplant survival as well as reduced need for transplantation. However, viral resistance can develop after prolonged treatment with lamivudine, and breakthrough hepatitis may be fatal in few patients. Adefovir is effective for lamivudine-resistant HBV mutants. CONCLUSIONS: Antiviral therapy with lamivudine for decompensated HBV cirrhosis can be effective. However, some patients may experience a hepatitis flare with the emergence of YMDD mutants resulting in progressive worsening of liver disease, and should be referred for 'rescue' therapy with other nucleoside/nucleotide analogues such as adefovir dipivoxil.

Multiattribute utility theory is a powerful theory tool to reveal the preferences of the consumers according to multiple attribute points of view. Utility additive (UTA) method based on Multiattribute utility theory is an ordinal regression method using linear programming. The purpose of the UTA method presented in this paper is to assess additive utility functions that aggregate multiple attributes in a composite attribute. The results of it are important for the study of consumer behavior. Finally, a simple illustrative example is presented and some extensions of the method are proposed.

Aim:To investigate the movement of α1A-adrenergic receptors(α1A-AR) stimu-lated by agonist,phenylephrine （PE）,and the dynamics of receptor movement inreal time in single living cells with millisecond ***:We labeledα1A-AR using the monoclonal,anti-FLAG （a kind of tag） antibody and Cy3.conju-gated goat anti-mouse IgG and recorded the trajectory of their transport processin living HEK2.3. cells stimulated by agonist,PE,and then analyzed their dy-namic ***:The specific detection of α1A-AR on the surface ofliving HEK2.3.-α1Acells was achieved.α1A-AR internalize under the stimulationof *** the cells were stimulated with PE for 2. min,apparent colocalizationwas found between α1A-AR and *** 40 min stimulation of PE,trajecto-ries of approximate linear motion in HEK2.3.-α1Acells were recorded,and theirvelocity was ***:The specific labeling method on the livingcell surface provides a convenient means of real-time detection of the behavior ofsurface *** this method we were able to specifically detect α1A-AR andrecord the behavior of individual particles of receptors with 50 ms exposure time inreal time in single living cells.
