Residual stresses in SiC wafers, which were introduced during production processes including sawing, lapping, mechanical polishing （MP）, and chemical-mechanical polishing （CMP）, were evaluated in terms of changes in radius of curvature and high-resolution X-ray diffractometer （HRXRD） measurements. It was found that annealing was an effective method to reduce stress fields and to improve the wafer flatness. Lapping process generated more residual stresses than other machining processes, and these stresses could be relaxed by thermal treatment. The results showed that annealing was an essential procedure following lapping in the whole production process. The molten KOH etching results accounted for the correlation between the relaxation of stresses and the creation of basal screw dislocations.

The effects of annealing temperature and grit blasting pressure on the recrystallization behavior of a Ni3Al based single crystal superalloy were studied in this work. The results show that the precipitation of the Y-NiMo phase occurs at 900 and 1000 °C, which precedes recrystallization. The initial recrystallization temperature was between 1000 and 1100 °C. Cellular recrystallization was formed at 1100 and 12.0 °C, which consisted of large columnar γ′ and fine γ + γ′. The dendrite arm closed to the interdendritic region may act as nucleation sites during initial recrystallization by a particle simulated nucleation mechanism at 12.0 °C. The size of the grains first turned large and then became small upon the pressure while the recrystallization depth increased all the time.

An experimental study was performed to measure the heat transfer coeffcient distributions on a flat blade model under rotating oper-ating conditions. A steady-state thermochromic liquid crystal technique was employed to measure the surface temperature, and all the signals from the rotating reference frame were collected by the telemetering instrument via a wireless connection. Both air and CO2.were used as coolant. Results show that the rotational effect has a significant influence on the heat transfer coeffcient distributions. The pro-files of hg/h0, which is the ratio of heat transfer coeffcient with film cooling to that without film cooling, deffect towards the high-radius locations on both the pressure surface and suction surface as the rotation number (Rt) increases, and the deffective tendency is more evident on the suction surface. The variations in mainstream Reynolds number (ReD) and blowing ratio (M) present different distribu-tions of hg/h0 on the pressure and suction surfaces, respectively. Furthermore, the coolant used for CO2.injection is prone to result in lower heat transfer coeffcients.

Quality traits in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were studied by quantitative trait locus (QTL) analysis in a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population, a set of 131 lines derived from Chuan 35050 × Shannong 483 cross (ChSh). Grains from RILs were assayed for 2. quality traits related to protein and starch. A total of 35 putative QTLs for 19 traits with a single QTL explaining 7.99–40.52. of phe- notypic variations were detected on 10 chromosomes, 1D, 2., 2., 3B, 3D, 5A, 6A, 6B, 6D, and 7B. The additive effects of 30 QTLs were positive, contributed by Chuan 35050, the remaining 5 QTLs were negative with the additive effect contributed by Shannong 483. For protein traits, 15 QTLs were obtained and most of them were located on chromosomes 1D, 3B and 6D, while 2. QTLs for starch traits were detected and most of them were located on chromosomes 3D, 6B and 7B. Only 7 QTLs for protein and starch traits were co-located in three regions on chromosomes 1D, 2. and 2.. These protein and starch trait QTLs showed a distinct distribution pattern in certain regions and chromosomes. Twenty-two QTLs were clustered in 6 regions of 5 chromosomes. Two QTL clusters for protein traits were located on chromosomes 1D and 3B, respectively, three clusters for starch traits on chromosomes 3D, 6B and 7B, and one cluster includ- ing protein and starch traits on chromosome 1D.

Results of this paper are from the experiments concerning the preparation of CdS thin film on different substrates. Low-temperature epitaxy of oriented CdS thin film was achieved with atomic-exchange technology which should be expansion for the preparation method of thin film. TEM pattern of the fragment scraped from the substrate showed that the film is well crystallized. XRD and AFM were performed to investigate the constitution and morphology of the prepared film. Spectroscopic analysis of the thin film is also performed.

ZnO thin films doped with different Cu concentrations are fabricated by reactive magnetron sputtering technique. XRD analysis indicates that the crystal quality of the ZnO：Cu film can be enhanced by a moderate level of Cu-doping in the sputtering process. The results of XPS spectra of zinc, oxygen, and copper elements show that Cu-doping has an evident and complicated effect on the chemical state of oxygen, but little effect on those of zinc and copper. Interestingly, further investigation of the optical properties of ZnO：Cu samples shows that the transmittance spectra exhibit both red shift and blue shift with the increase of Cu doping, in contrast to the simple monotonic behavior of the Burstein–Moss effect. Analysis reveals that this is due to the competition between oxygen vacancies and intrinsic and surface states of oxygen in the sample. Our result may suggest an effective way of tuning the bandgap of ZnO samples.

The optimal output tracking control (OTC) problem for nonlinear systems with time-delay is *** a series-based approx- imate approach,the original OTC problem is transformed into iteration solving linear two-point boundary value problems without time- *** OTC law obtained consists of analytical linear feedback and feedforward terms and a nonlinear compensation term with an infinite series of the adjoint *** truncating a finite sum of the adjoint vector series,an approximate optimal tracking control law is obtained.A reduced-order reference input observer is constructed to make the feedforward term physically *** exam- ples are used to test the validity of the series-based approximate approach.

To observe the Te inclusions distribution along the axial direction of CdZnTe ingots,batches of as-grown detector-grade CdZnTe crystals grown by vertical Bridgman method,were investigated using IR transmission ***,there is not a rigorous regularity for the micron-scale Te inclusions distribution along the axial direction of CdZnTe ingots according to the measurements of the present *** size and distribution variations of Te inclusions are attributed to the growth velocity, furnace temperature situation and morphological changes at the liquid-solid interface during crystal *** mobility lifetime products were discussed in conjunction with Te ***,no strict correlations are identified between the sizes and concentrations of Te inclusions and theγ-ray spectroscopy *** defects in CdZnTe crystals,which are not visible via IR transmission imaging,potentially attribute to CdZnTe detectors performance degrades.
