To observe the effects of simulated microgravity on beta islet cell culture, we have compared the survival rates and the insulin levels of the isolated rat islet cells cultured at micro- and normal gravity conditions. The survival rates of the cells cultured were determined by acridine orange-propidium iodide double-staining on day 3, 7 and 14. The morphology of the cells was observed by electron microscopy. Insulin levels were measured by radio immuno assays. Our results show that the cell number cultured under the microgravity condition is significantly higher than that under the routine condition (P<0.01). Some tubular structure shown by transmission electron microscopy, possibly for the transport of nutrients, were formed intercellularly in the microgravity cultured group on day 7. There were also abundant secretion particles and mitochondria in the cytoplasm of the cells. ＜正＞Crop yield estimation has always been important for social and government *** study was supported by six TM images in different growth period and a MODIS image which was stacked by eight 16-day NDVI images and covered the whole growth period of the maize in Shandong province in *** gaining the standards time-series growth curve of maize NDVI from MODIS image,we built the interpolated model which represented the maize characteristic growth,and then interpolated the TM images at different growth period into milky stage by using this *** on the medium-resolution data setting at milky stage and ground measured data, we built ground-medium resolution linear regression model and medium-low resolution multiple linear regression model for maize yield *** results showed that the accuracy of every city yield was high,completely more than 95%;and the accuracy of entire province production is 94%.This study attempted to carry out a business running system for province-scale maize yield estimation by remote sensing.

The demand for individualized teaching from Elearning websites is rapidly increasing due to the huge differences existed among Web learners. A method for clustering Web learners based on rough set is proposed. The basic idea of the method is to reduce the learning attributes prior to clustering, and therefore the clustering of Web learners is carried out in a relative low-dimensional space. Using this method, the E-learning websites can arrange corresponding teaching content for different clusters of learners so that the learners’ individual requirements can be more satisfied.

Recently, black phosphorus （BP） has joined the two-dimensional material family as a promising candidate for elec- tronic and photonic applications due to its moderate bandgap, high carrier mobility, and unusual in-plane anisotropy. Here, we review recent progress in BP-based devices, such as field-effect transistors, contact resistance, quantum transport, stabil- ity, photodetector, heterostructure, and in-plane anisotropy. We also give our perspectives on future BP research directions.

A novel networked data-fusion method is developed for the target tracking in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Specifically, this paper investigates data fusion scheme under the communication constraint between the fusion center and each sensor. Such a message constraint is motivated by the bandwidth limitation of the communication links, fusion center, and by the limited power budget of local sensors. In the proposed scheme, each sensor collects one noise-corrupted sample, performs a quantizing operation, and transmits quantized message to the fusion center. Then the fusion center combines the received quantized messages to produce a final estimate. The novel data-fusion method is based on the quantized measurement innovations and decentralized Kalman filtering (DKF) with feedback. For the proposed algorithm, the performance analysis of the estimation precision is provided. Finally, Monte Carlo simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

近年来,各种方法被用来模拟可变形物体的实时变形。提出了一种基于质点-弹簧系统的植物器官变形模拟方法,并根据交互式设计的要求开发了参数化的植物器官几何造型和弹簧模型生成方法,简化了质点-弹簧模型的构造。实验结果表明,该方法能够获得具有较高真实感的变形效果,能够适用于多种植物器官一般情况下的变形模拟;同时,参数化的几何曲面和物理模型生成能够满足于交互式实时模拟的需要。
