Previous studies have shown that nicorandil has a protective effect on ***,there is no study to investigate whether perioperative intravenous nicorandil can further reduce the myocardial infarct size in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)compared to the current standard of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)*** CHANGE(china-Administration of Nicorandil Group)study is a multicenter,prospective,randomized,double-blind and parallel-controlled clinical study of STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI in china,aiming to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intravenous nicorandil in ameliorating the myocardial infarct size in STEMI patients undergoing primary PCI and provide evidence-based support for myocardial protection strategies of STEMI patients.

Constitutive modeling and springback prediction of stress relaxation age forming of pre-deformed 2.19 aluminum alloy

Stress relaxation ageing behavior of pre-deformed AA2.19 is studied through stress relaxation age experiments and finite element(FE) simulation. The results show that the stress can promote the process of ageing precipitation, and shorten the time to reach the peak strength. Meanwhile,the residual stress and yield strength increase along with the increase in the initial stress. Based on microstructure evolution and ageing strengthening theory,a unified constitutive model is established and incorporated into the FE simulation model through a user subroutine. It is found that the relative error of the radius is 3.6% compared with the experimental result and the springback is 16.8%. This indicates that the proposed stress relaxation ageing constitutive model provides a good prediction on the springback of such stiffened panel during its ageing process.

Effects of fish oil-containing nutrition supplementation in adult sepsis patients:a systematic review and meta-analysis

Background:Sepsis is life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to *** fish oil has been used as an immunonutritional preparations for the treatment of sepsis patients,there is still controversy as to whether it is beneficial to *** systematically reviewed published clinical trial data to evaluate the effectiveness of fish oil-containing nutrition supplementation in sepsis ***:A systematic searchwas undertaken in PubMed,Embase,Chinese Biomedicine Database,the Cochrane Library and the china Knowledge Resource Integrated Database to obtain clinical controlled *** on nutrition therapy containing fish oil among adult sepsis patients were selected for analysis in comparison with routine ***:Twenty-five published trials were included in the *** oil-containing nutrition supplementation reduced the mortality compared with the control group(relative risk(RR)0.74,I^(2.=0%).Fish oil also shortened the ICU stay(MD−3.57 days;95%CI−4.54,−2.59;p2.=76%),hospital stay(MD−9.92.days;95%CI−15.37,−4.46;p=0.0004;I^(2.=91%)and the duration of mechanical ventilation support(MD−2.2.;95%CI−4.2.,−0.2.;p=0.03;I^(2.=83%).A subgroup analysis based on the route of administration revealed that parenteral administration of fish oil could reduce mortality in septic patients(RR=0.68,I^(2.=0%),but no significant difference in mortalitywas observed in the fish oil group administered by enteral route(RR=0.80,I^(2.=0%).No statistically significant publication biases were detected for the above clinical endpoints(p>0.05).Conclusions:Parenteral nutrition containing fish oil could significantly decrease mortality in sepsis patients while enteral administration could *** oil-containing nutrition supplementation.

The soil-borne necrotrophic fungus Rhizoctonia solani is one of destructive fungi causing severe yield losses in various important crops. However, the host defense mechanisms against the invasion of this pathogen are poorly understood. In this study, we employed an i TRAQ-based quantitative proteomic approach to investigate host proteins responsive to R. solani using the resistant rice cultivar YSBR1. As a whole, we identified 319 differentially accumulated proteins(DAPs) after inoculation of rice plants with R. solani. Functional categorization analysis indicates that these DAPs cover a broad range of functions. Notably, a substantial portion of the DAPs are involved in cell redox homeostasis, carbohydrate metabolism, and phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, or belong to pathogenesis-related proteins, indicating that these processes/proteins play important roles in host defense against R. solani. Interestingly, all of the DAPs involved in photosynthesis and chlorophyll biosynthetic processes, and part of the DAPs involved in phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, show reduced accumulation after R. solani infection, suggesting that R. solani probably inhibits host photosynthetic system and phenylpropanoid biosynthesis to facilitate infection and colonization. In conclusion, our results provide both valuable resources and new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying rice and R. solani interaction.

Detection of arboviruses in Culicoides(Diptera:Ceratopogonidae)collected from animal farms in the border areas of Yunnan Province,china

Biting midges of the genus Culicoides(order Diptera,family Ceratopogonidae)are potential biological vectors for the transmission of certain arboviruses among humans,livestock,and wild *** study collected a total of 405 Culicoides individuals from seven animal farms located in five counties in the border areas of Yunnan Province,china,and examined the Culicoides species composition and the major arboviruses carried by the Culicoides *** collected Culicoides were classified into seven species with variable abundances:Culicoides arakawae(5.43%,2./405),Culicoides homotomus(1.2.%,5/405),Culicoides obsoletus(19.75%,80/405),Culicoides orientalis(17.2.%,70/405),Culicoides oxystoma(2..38%,119/405),Culicoides peregrinus(5.68%,2./405),and Culicoides nipponensis(2..2.%,86/405).Among the seven species,*** and *** were distributed in all the five counties with abundances of 13.33–44.87%and 10.00–46.83%,respectively,suggesting that these were the dominant species of Culicoides widespread on animal farms in the border *** was used to detect major arboviruses in the collected Culicoides specimens,including bluetongue virus(BTV),Japanese encephalitis virus,Dengue virus,Zika virus,African swine fever virus,and African horse sickness *** the tested viruses,only BTV serotype 1 was tested positive in *** specimens collected from a buffalo *** oxystoma was the dominant species on animal farms in the sampled areas,but it has not previously been documented as positive for BTV in *** current results thus suggest that *** could be an important vector for BTV transmission in these border areas,which,however,needs to be confirmed by further comprehensive ***,the present study provides the first profile of Culicoides species on animal farms in the china,Vietnam,and Myanmar border areas,establishes the prevalence of arboviruses carried by these Culicoides species,and suggests the vector potential of C.

Wnt/β-catenin signaling plays a critical role in colorectal cancer(CRC)tumorigenesis and the homeostasis of colorectal cancer stem cells(CSCs),but its molecular mechanism remains unclear.B-cell lymphoma 3(Bcl-3),a member of the IκB family,is overexpressed in CRC and promotes ***,we report a novel function of Bcl-3 in maintaining colorectal CSC homeostasis by activating Wnt/β-catenin *** Bcl-3 suppresses the self-renewal capacity of colorectal CSCs and sensitizes CRC cells to chemotherapeutic drugs through a decrease in Wnt/β-catenin ***,our data show that Bcl-3 is a crucial component of Wnt/β-catenin signaling and is essential forβ-catenin transcriptional activity in CRC ***,Wnt3a increases the level and nuclear translocation of Bcl-3,which binds directly toβ-catenin and enhances the acetylation ofβ-catenin at lysine 49(Ac-K49-β-catenin)and transcriptional ***-3 depletion decreases the Ac-K49-β-catenin level by increasing the level of histone deacetylase 1 to remove acetyl groups fromβ-catenin,thus interrupting Wnt/β-catenin *** CRC clinical specimens,Bcl-3 expression negatively correlates with the overall survival of CRC patients.A significantly positive correlation was found between the expression of Bcl-3 and Ac-K49-β-***,our data reveal that Bcl-3 plays a crucial role in CRC chemoresistance and colorectal CSC maintenance via its modulation of the Ac-K49-β-catenin,which serves as a promising therapeutic target for CRC.

Deferoxamine promotes recovery of traumatic spinal cord injury by inhibiting ferroptosis

Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent novel cell death pathway. Deferoxamine, a ferroptosis inhibitor, has been reported to promote spinal cord injury repair. It has yet to be clarified whether ferroptosis inhibition represents the mechanism of action of Deferoxamine on spinal cord injury recovery. A rat model of Deferoxamine at thoracic 10 segment was established using a modified Allen's method. Ninety 8-week-old female Wistar rats were used. Rats in the Deferoxamine group were intraperitoneally injected with 100 mg/kg Deferoxamine 30 minutes before injury. Simultaneously, the Sham and Deferoxamine groups served as controls. Drug administration was conducted for 7 consecutive days. The results were as follows:(1) Electron microscopy revealed shrunken mitochondria in the spinal cord injury group.(2. The Basso, Beattie and Bresnahan locomotor rating score showed that recovery of the hindlimb was remarkably better in the Deferoxamine group than in the spinal cord injury group.(3) The iron concentration was lower in the Deferoxamine group than in the spinal cord injury group after injury.(4) Western blot assay revealed that, compared with the spinal cord injury group, GPX4, xCT, and glutathione expression was markedly increased in the Deferoxamine group.(5) Real-time polymerase chain reaction revealed that, compared with the Deferoxamine group, mRNA levels of ferroptosis-related genes Acyl-CoA synthetase family member 2.ACSF2. and iron-responsive element-binding protein 2.IREB2. were up-regulated in the Deferoxamine group.(6) Deferoxamine increased survival of neurons and inhibited gliosis. These findings confirm that Deferoxamine can repair spinal cord injury by inhibiting ferroptosis. Targeting ferroptosis is therefore a promising therapeutic approach for spinal cord injury.
