Seeds establish dormancy to delay germination until the arrival of a favorable growing *** this study,we identify a fate switch comprised of the MKK3–MPK7 kinase cascade and the ethylene response factor ERF4 that is responsible for the seed state transition from dormancy to *** show that dormancy-breaking factors activate the MKK3–MPK7 module,which affects the expression of some a-EXPANSIN(EXPA)genes to control seed ***,we identify a direct downstream substrate of this module,ERF4,which suppresses the expression of these EXPAs by directly binding to the GCC boxes in their exon *** activated MKK3–MPK7 module phosphorylates ERF4,leading to its rapid degradation and thereby releasing its inhibitory effect on the expression of these ***,our work identifies a signaling chain consisting of protein phosphorylation,degradation,and gene transcription,by which the germination promoters within the embryo sense and are activated by germination signals from ambient conditions.

Relationship between the level of fasting plasma glucose and beta cell functions in Chinese with or without diabetes

Background Type 2.diabetes is a chronic disease characterized by a progressive loss of beta cell functions. However, the evaluation of beta cell functions is either expensive or inconvenient for clinical practice. We aimed to elucidate the association between the changes of insulin responsiveness and the fasting plasma glucose （FPG） during the development of diabetes. Methods A total of 1192.Chinese individuals with normal blood glucose or hyperglycemia were enrolled for the analysis. The early insulinogenic index （△I30/△G30）, the area under the curve of insulin （AUC-Ⅰ）, and homeostasis model assessment were applied to evaluate the early phase secretion, total insulin secretion, and insulin resistance respectively. Polynomial regression analysis was performed to estimate the fluctuation of beta cell functions. Results The △I30/△G30 decreased much more rapidly than the AUC-Ⅰ accompanying with the elevation of FPG. At the FPG of 110 mg/dl （a pre-diabetic stage）, the AI30/AG30 lost 50% of its maximum while the AUC-Ⅰ was still at a compensated normal level. The AUC-Ⅰ exhibited abnormal and decreased gradually at the FPG of from 130 mg/dl to higher （overt diabetes）, while the △I30/△G30 almost remained at 2.% of its maximum value. When hyperglycemia continuously existed at 〉 180 mg/dl, both the AI30/AG30 and AUC-Ⅰ were totally lost. Conclusion The increased fasting plasma glucose reflects progressive decompensation of beta cell functions, and could be used to guide the strategy of clinical treatments.

As a renewable carbon resource, biomass can be converted into polyols, aromatic hydrocarbons, alkanes, and other products by traditional catalytic liquefaction method, which has been widely used in production and life. The efficient development and utilization of biomass energy will play a very positive role in solving the problems of energy and ecological environment. A way of combining the plasma electrolysis with traditional catalytic liquefaction realizes the efficient liquefaction of sawdust, which provides a new liquefaction way for traditional biomass conversion. In this experiment, the effects of solution composition, catalyst content and power supply on solution resistance and liquefaction rate are *** is found that solution composition and catalyst content have a great influence on solution resistance. The results show that the liquefaction rate is highest and the resistance is smallest when the solution resistance is 500 ?. The liquefaction rate is greatly affected by the solution temperature, and the solution temperature is determined by the output power between the two electrodes. The output power includes the heating power of the electric field and the discharge power of the *** measure the electric potential field distribution in the solution and the plasma power. It is found that the output power between the two poles increases nonlinearly(from 0 to 2.0 W) with time. In two minutes, the electric field heating power increases from 0 to 105 W and then decreases to 70 W, while the plasma power increases from 0 to 2.0 W. It is well known that in the first 70 seconds of the experiment the electric field heating is dominant, and then the plasma heating turns into a main thermal source. In this paper, plasma electrolysis and traditional catalytic liquefaction are combined to achieve the efficient liquefaction of sawdust, which provides a new way for biomass liquefaction.

The role of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(auto-HSCT)following high-dose chemotherapy has been validated and accepted as a standard treatment for patients with relapsed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL).However,its clinical efficacy as frontline therapy remains to be *** study aimed to examine the feasibility of frontline auto-HSCT for newly diagnosed intermediate/high-risk DLBCL *** retrospectively reviewed the data of 2.3 patients treated with frontline auto-HSCT or chemotherapy alone(year 2.08-2.14)from four *** median follow-up time was 2..4 *** the two treatment arms among the intermediate/high-risk DLBCL patients,the 3-year overall survival(OS)and progression-free survival(PFS)rates of patients given frontline auto-HSCT were 87.6%and 81.9%,respectively,and the chemotherapy-alone group showed 3-year OS and PFS rates of 64.9%and 59.59%,*** with the chemotherapy-alone group,the frontline auto-HSCT could eliminate the adverse impact of non-germinal center B-cell(GCB)*** addition,in the frontline auto-HSCT group,patients who achieved complete response(CR)at auto-HSCT had a longer survival time than those who did not achieve *** results suggested that frontline auto-HSCT could improve the prognosis of intennediate/high-risk DLBCL patients.

High water consumption and inefficient irrigation management in the agriculture sector of the middle and lower reaches of the Amu Darya River Basin(ADRB)have significantly influenced the gradual shrinking of the Aral Sea and its *** this study,we investigated the crop water consumption in the growing seasons and the irrigation water requirement for different crop types in the lower ADRB during 2.04–*** applied the FAO Penman–Monteith method to estimate reference evapotranspiration(ET0)based on daily climatic data collected from four meteorological *** evapotranspiration(ETc)of specific crop types was calculated by the crop ***,we analyzed the net irrigation requirement(NIR)based on the effective precipitation with crop water *** results indicated that the lowest monthly ET0 values in the lower ADRB were found in December(18.2.mm)and January(16.0 mm),and the highest monthly ET0 values were found in June and July,with similar values of 2.1.6 *** annual ETc reached to 887.2.1002.1,and 492.0 mm for cotton,rice,and wheat,*** average regional NIR ranged from 514.9 to 715.0 mm in the 10 Irrigation System Management Organizations(UISs)in the study area,while the total required irrigation volume for the whole region ranged from 4.2.109 to 11.6×109 m3 during 2.04–*** percentages of NIR in SIW(surface irrigation water)ranged from 46.4%to 65.2.during the study period,with the exceptions of the drought years of 2.08 and 2.11,in which there was a significantly less runoff in the Amu Darya *** study provides an overview for local water authorities to achieve optimal regional water allocation in the study area.

[背景]细菌是地铁室内空气中种类最多、来源最广泛的微生物,其中的病原菌可通过空气在人群中传播,导致健康风险增加。[目的]了解中南某城市地铁站内及车厢内空气细菌污染状况及其菌群分布特征,为制定改善地铁室内空气细菌污染干预措施提供科学依据。[方法]根据客流量差异,选择中南某市三个地铁站及停靠列车车厢进行同步空气采样监测。采用直读法测定温度、湿度、风速、二氧化碳(CO_(2.)、细颗粒物(PM_(2.5))和可吸入颗粒物(PM_(10))。按照GB/T 182.4.3—2.13《公共场所卫生检验方法第3部分:空气微生物》要求,以2..3 L·min^(−1)流量采集空气样本,培养检测细菌总数,对细菌微生物种类进行质谱鉴定,根据国家卫生健康委员会制定的《人间传染的病原微生物目录》区分病原菌和非病原菌。采用Kruskal-Wallis H检验进行不同区域和时段地铁卫生指标的比较分析,采用Bonferroni检验进行两两比较,采用Spearman相关性检验对CO_(2.浓度与细菌总数进行关联性分析。[结果]地铁站内和车厢内空气细菌总数、PM_(2.5)和PM_(10)合格率均为100.0%,温度、风速合格率均为94.4%,CO_(2.合格率为98.6%,湿度合格率为0%。地铁站内和车厢内空气细菌总数的中位数及第2.、75百分位数为177(138,2.2.CFU·m^(−3);不同区域、不同时段的比较分析显示,空气细菌总数站厅高于站台,早高峰高于晚高峰,差异均具有统计学意义(P2.菌种,鉴定结果得分均>9分;空气细菌优势菌为藤黄微球菌(52.2.)和人葡萄球菌(9.8%)。在3个地铁站内和车厢内检出表皮葡萄球菌(2.2.)、鲍氏不动杆菌(0.3%)和纹带棒杆菌(0.1%)这3种病原菌共2.例(2.6%),检出位置主要分布于晚高峰时的车厢内。[结论]地铁室内不同区域、不同时段空气细菌总数存在差异,且存在一定的条件致病菌感染风险,应加强客流高峰时段及各区域的清洁与消毒。

Genetic Variants in MMP9 and TCF2.Contribute to Susceptibility to Lung Cancer

Objective：The Wnt signaling pathway is crucial for pulmonary development and differentiation;dysregulation of the Wnt signaling pathway may impair lung ***,single nucleotide polymorphisms （SNPs） of Wnt pathway-related genes have been suggested as risk factors for certain types of *** this study,we aimed to evaluate the influence of SNPs in Wnt-related genes （TCF2.MMP9） on susceptibility to lung ***：Polymorphisms of TCF2.rs4430796,MMP9 rs2.50889,and MMP9 rs17576 were studied in Han Chinese subjects,including 135 patients with lung cancer and 176 controls,using the Sequenom MassARRAY *** association of genotypes with susceptibility to lung cancer was analyzed using odds ratio （OR）,with 95% confidence interval （95% CI） and χ***：The three SNPs （rs4430796,rs2.50889,and rs17576） were found to be significantly associated with an increased risk of lung *** AA genotype and AG＋AA genotype of rs4430796 showed a significantly increased susceptibility to lung cancer compared with the GG genotype （adjusted OR=6.03,95% CI：1.30-2..09,P=0.02.;5.55,95% CI：1.2.-2..58,P=0.02.）.Compared with the rs17576 GG genotype,the AG and AG＋AA genotypes were also associated with a significant risk （adjusted OR=2.65,95% CI：1.60-4.37,P≤0.001;2.57,95% CI：1.59-4.19,P≤0.001） whereas the rs2.50889 CG and CG＋GG genotypes had 2.97-fold （95% CI：1.81-4.85;P≤0.001） and 2.80-fold increased associations with lung cancer （95% CI：1.73-4.54;P≤0.001）,respectively,compared with the rs2.50889 CC ***,the association of rs4430796 with lung cancer became insignificant （P0.05） after adjusting for gender and ***：The three SNPs may play a role in the predisposition of members of the Han Chinese population to lung cancer.

Stabilizing electroluminescence color of blue perovskite LEDs via amine group doping

Voltage loading-induced change in the electroluminescence(EL)wavelength of mixed halide perovskite light-emitting diodes(PeLEDs),so-called color-shift,has become an inevitable phenomenon,which is seriously unfavorable to their applications in lighting and ***,we achieve color-stable blue PeLEDs via a hydrogen-bonded amine-group doping *** guanidine(GA)or formamidinium(FA)as amine-group(-NH_(2.)doping source for CsPbBr_(x)Cl_(3-x)quantum dots(QDs),experimental and theoretical results reveal that the strong N-H…X(X=Br/Cl)bonding can be produced between-NH_(2.dopants and Pb-X lattices,thereby increasing the migration barrier of halide ***,color-stable sky-blue devices were realized with emission peaks fixed at 490.5(GA)and 492.5(FA)nm without any obvious shift as the voltage increases,in sharp contrast devices without N-H…X producing a 15 nm red-shift from 487 to 502.*** only that,maximum external quantum efficiency is improved to 3.02.and 4.14%from the initial 1.3%.This finding offers a convenient boulevard to achieve color-stable PeLEDs with high efficiency.

High response Schottky ultraviolet photodetector formed by PEDOT:PSS transparent electrode contacts to Mg_(0.1)Zn_(0.9)O

In this paper, we report a Schottky ultraviolet photodetector based on poly（3,4-ethylenedioxy-thiophene）poly（styrenesulfonate）（PEDOT：PSS） transparent electrode contacts to Mg0.1Zn0.9O. The I-V characteristic curves of the device are measured in the dark condition and under the illumination of a 340-nm UV light. The device shows a typical rectifying behavior with a current rectification ratio of 103 at ±2.V, which exhibits a good Schottky behavior. The phototo-dark current ratio is high, which is 1×103at-4 V. A peak response of 0.156 A/W at 340 nm is observed. The device also exhibits a wide response from 2.0 nm to 340 nm, with a response larger than 0.1 A/W. It covers the UV-B region（2.0 nm-32. nm）, which makes the device very suitable for the detection of UV-B light.
