Parthenolide is well known as anti-inflammation drug and has anti-cancer effect in various cancer cells,however,the anticancer mechanism of parthenolide is still not fully *** the present study,the anticancer effect of parthenolide on human hepatocellular carcinoma cells HepG2.and the mechanisms involved in this process were *** result from MTT assay demonstrated that parthenolide can effectively reduce HepG2.cell *** staining result showed that the number of apoptotic nuclei increased significantly after parthenolide administration compared with the control,this result was further confirmed by TUNEL *** study indicated that parthenolide can down-regulate the anti-apoptotic proteins Bcl-2.and survivin expression,whereas the apoptosis-related proteins such as nucleus p53.Bax,cleaved caspase9 and cleaved caspase3.were *** clarify if autophagy also contribute to the anti-cancer effect of parthenolide,we further investigate the effect of parthenolide on cell autophagy by MDC and AO *** results showed that parthenolide can induce autophagy in HepG2.***,our result also showed that parthenolide inhibited the expression of proliferation-relating gene,ki-67,by immunofluorescence *** together,our data suggest that both apoptosis, autophagy induction and proliferation inhibition contribute to the anticancer effect of parthenolide in HepG2.cells.

Cu-coated powder was fabricated by electroless plating process, and the composition and morphology of coated powder were studied. Moreover, Cu-3., 40, 50 vol.%SiCp heat sink materials were fabricated by hot pressing using coated and uncoated powder. And the microstructure and thermophysical properties of the heat sink materials were also studied. The results show that SiCp particles distribute uniformly in heat sink materials and the interface between SiCp particles and Cu matrix is clear and well bonded. On the condition of same volume fraction of SiCp, the thermal conductivity of the material using coated powder is larger than that of the material using uncoated powder. Under experiment conditions, the thermal conductivity and coefficient of thermal expansion of Cu-3. vol.%SiCp heat sink material is 2.6.2.W·m-1·K-1 and 9.9×10-6/K (3.-2.0 ℃) respectively. It provides important reference data for future experiments.

Previous studies identified testes-specific protease 50(TSP50),which encoded a threonine protease,was abnormally reactivated in many breast cancer biopsies tested. And it was negatively regulated by the p53.***,little is known about the biological function of *** the present study,we apply RNA interference(RNAi) to knockdown TSP50 gene expression in P19 murine embryonal carcinoma stem cells, and tested whether this modulated the cell *** results showed that downregulation of TSP50 expression reduced cell proliferation,colony formation, migration,and invasion,but induced cell *** study revealed that downregulation of TSP50 expression enhanced p53.p2. and p2. expression,and reduced cyclinDl and cyclinE expression,this results suggest that down-regulation of TSP50 expression inhibits cell proliferation,migration and induces cell apoptosis via induction of cell cycle arrest.

A full-length cDNA of GlFtsZ was isolated by screening the cDNA library of Gentiana lutea. Analysis of the deduced amino acid sequence encoded by GIFtsZ indicated that GIFtsZ protein possesses the typical conservative motifs existed in all FtsZ proteins. The existence of putative plastid transit peptide in its N-terminus suggested that GIFtsZ might function inside of plastids. With the developmental process of petals of Gentiana lutea, the expression of plastid division gene GIFtsZ declined gradually, whereas the expression of carotenoids biosynthesis gene Zds increased obviously; meanwhile, in contrast to the increment of carotenoids, the content of chlorophyll in petals decreased sharply. The chloroplasts turned into chromoplasts, and the color of petals also turned from green to golden. All of these results suggested that the expression of GIFtsZ is accompanied with the development and differentiation of plastids.

Contribution of Root and Microbial Respiration to Soil CO_2.Efflux and Their Environmental Controls in a Humid Temperate Grassland of Japan

Soil CO2.efflux, root mass, and root production were investigated in a humid temperate grassland of Japan over a growing season （Apr. to Sep.） of 2.05 to reveal seasonal changes of soil CO2.efflux, to separate the respective contributions of root and microbial respiration to the total soil CO2.efttux, and to determine the environmental factors that control soil respiration. Minimal microbial respiration rate was estimated based on the linear regression equations between soil CO2.effiux and root mass at different experimental sites. Soil CO2.efflux, ranging from 4.99 to 16.2. μmol CO2.m^-2.s^-1, depended on the seasonal changes in soil temperature. The root mass at 0-10 cm soil depth was 0.82.and 1.2. kg m^-2.in Apr. and Sep., respectively. The root mass at 0-10 cm soil depth comprised 60% of the total root mass at 0-50 cm soil depth. The root productivity at 0-3. cm depth varied from 8 to 180 g m^-2.month^-1. Microbial and root respiration rates ranged from 1.3. to 5.51 and 2.72.to 12.06μmol CO2.m^-2.s^-1, respectively. The contribution of root respiration to the total soil CO2.efflux averaged 53., ranging from 3.% to 72.. The microbial respiration rate was exponentially related to soil temperature at 10 cm depth （R^2.= 0.9400, P = 0.002. n = 6）, and the root respiration rate was linearly related to the root production at 0-3. cm depth （R2.= 0.6561, P = 0.042. n = 6）.

Remote sensing technique has played an important role in land use dynamic monitoring, but as for the land use dynamic monitoring at county level, traditional remote sensing methods such as satellite imagery visual interpretation and computer classification can not meet its demand for accuracy. The result of 1:10 000 land use investigation map has high accuracy, but this method can not be used to dynamically monitor the land use because of its big expenses, long period and difficulty in updating data. In this paper, the characteristics of physiognomy, climate and the status of land use in Dehui County are taken into consideration and a set of method, which takes use of 3. techniques and applies to northeast China Plain, is come up with. When the land use type of a land parcel changed as a whole, the date updating can be make by changing its land type ID in the attribute table in a GIS. When the land use type of an irregular area changed, GPS receivers are used to position its border. This set of method is characteristic of high accuracy and low expenses. It gets the information of land use change timely and can be used to dynamically monitor the land use. .

Taking west Jilin Province as an example, this paper put forward the assessment index of salinization, and based on it, the authors present the distribution characteristics of saline-alkali soil in the 1980s and the 1990s in west Jilin and analyze its physical and chemical properties in detail. The developing tendency of salinization was also inferred by comparing the saline-alkali soil of the 1980s with that of the 1990s. Finally, the natural and human factors leading to salinization are analyzed.
